Nakon što su građani za Kiaru prikupili preko 18 milijuna kuna, ona je s roditeljima otišla na liječenje u Ameriku.
Podsjetimo, sedmogodišnja Kiara ima zloćudni tumor na mozgu gradusa IV, najagresivniji od svih vrsta. Nakon teške operacije koju je prošla, za nju u Hrvatskoj lijeka više nema, jedino radioterapija. Cijeli tumor ne može se odstraniti jer je uz samo moždano deblo, gdje je spoj živčanog sustava cijelog tijela i u to je nemoguće zadirati. U SAD, kako njena majka kaže, došli su po šansu za borbu. Evo dočekali smo svi skupa konačno nešto dobro, iza nas su ponovno ne prospavane noći, puno nervoze i sve ono što MRI donosi, a ovoga puta nakon dugih 7 mjeseci magnet nam je konačno donio vijest o smanjenju tumora u svim smjerovima, doktori su oduševljeni, a mi smo presretni, dobili smo najbolji mogući poklon za Valentinovo, i predivnu vijest baš na međunarodni dan djece oboljele od malignih bolesti.

Postoje mali borci koji se svakodnevno bore protiv malignih bolesti, protiv ovog opakog protivnika koji im razara djetinjstvo, njihovo nevino i dragocjeno djetinjstvo! Ta djevojčica i svi njezini suborci su neviđeni heroji! A upravo oni moraju biti prioritet svakog društva!
Kiara nas je kroz svoju bolest naučila toliko toga, naučila nas je i pokazala da postoji sasvim nova dimenzija snage, ljubavi i vjere! Pokazala je da postoji nova dimenzija nas kao ljudi! Pokazuje da treba imati osmijeh na licu i kad je najteže! Ona svoj teret s tolikom lakoćom prihvaća i nosi, ponaša se kao da ga nema, te iz dana u dan pokazuje koliko je jaka i hrabra! Mnogi od nje mogu učiti, učiti o tome šta znači hrabrost i snaga.
Simbol borbe protiv raka u dječjoj dobi je zlatna vrpca, koja ukazuje na hrabrost i snagu djece oboljele od malignih bolesti kao i na dragocjenost svakog dječjeg života. Obilježavanjem ovog dana želi se podignuti svijest o malignim bolestima kod djece i mladih kao i o važnosti ranog prepoznavanja simptoma bolesti, te pružiti podrška oboljelima i njihovim obiteljima!
A mi smo baš na ovaj dan dobili najljepše vijesti i najljepši poklon, nalaz pokazuje da se tumor smanjuje u svim smjerovima! Napokon je došlo sunce nakon 7 dugih mjeseci...
Veliko hvala svima vama koji ste i dalje svakodnevno uz nas, hvala šta ste izabrali njenu borbu kao svoju i šta nas nikad niste ostavili same! Hvala jer bez vas ovo ne bi bilo moguće!

Kiara je do svibnja bila potpuno zdrava i bezbrižna djevojčica kojoj je jedina briga bila kakvu će školsku torbu kupiti za prvi razred te kakvu će haljinicu nositi na prvi dan škole. Umjesto toga, Kiara se od ljeta svim silama bori za svoj život, piše Index.hr

Nakon što su građani za Kiaru prikupili preko 18 milijuna kuna, ona je s roditeljima otišla na liječenje u Ameriku.
Podsjetimo, sedmogodišnja Kiara ima zloćudni tumor na mozgu gradusa IV, najagresivniji od svih vrsta. Nakon teške operacije koju je prošla, za nju u Hrvatskoj lijeka više nema, jedino radioterapija. Cijeli tumor ne može se odstraniti jer je uz samo moždano deblo, gdje je spoj živčanog sustava cijelog tijela i u to je nemoguće zadirati. U SAD, kako njena majka kaže, došli su po šansu za borbu. Postoje mali borci koji se svakodnevno bore protiv malignih bolesti, protiv ovog opakog protivnika koji im razara djetinjstvo, njihovo nevino i dragocjeno djetinjstvo! Ta djevojčica i svi njezini suborci su neviđeni heroji! A upravo oni moraju biti prioritet svakog društva!
Kiara nas je kroz svoju bolest naučila toliko toga, naučila nas je i pokazala da postoji sasvim nova dimenzija snage, ljubavi i vjere! Pokazala je da postoji nova dimenzija nas kao ljudi! Pokazuje da treba imati osmijeh na licu i kad je najteže! Ona svoj teret s tolikom lakoćom prihvaća i nosi, ponaša se kao da ga nema, te iz dana u dan pokazuje koliko je jaka i hrabra! Mnogi od nje mogu učiti, učiti o tome šta znači hrabrost i snaga.
Simbol borbe protiv raka u dječjoj dobi je zlatna vrpca, koja ukazuje na hrabrost i snagu djece oboljele od malignih bolesti kao i na dragocjenost svakog dječjeg života. Obilježavanjem ovog dana želi se podignuti svijest o malignim bolestima kod djece i mladih kao i o važnosti ranog prepoznavanja simptoma bolesti, te pružiti podrška oboljelima i njihovim obiteljima!
A mi smo baš na ovaj dan dobili najljepše vijesti i najljepši poklon, nalaz pokazuje da se tumor smanjuje u svim smjerovima! Napokon je došlo sunce nakon 7 dugih mjeseci...
Veliko hvala svima vama koji ste i dalje svakodnevno uz nas, hvala šta ste izabrali njenu borbu kao svoju i šta nas nikad niste ostavili same! Hvala jer bez vas ovo ne bi bilo moguće!

Kiara je do svibnja bila potpuno zdrava i bezbrižna djevojčica kojoj je jedina briga bila kakvu će školsku torbu kupiti za prvi razred te kakvu će haljinicu nositi na prvi dan škole. Umjesto toga, Kiara se od ljeta svim silama bori za svoj život, piše Index.hr
