Jedan šibenski dragulj prirode, danas Perivoj fra Luje Maruna, još u 16. stoljeću spominje biskup i humanist, Šibenčanin Juraj Šižgorić.
Šibenik, brdovito smješten, nema puno zelenih površina, ali može se ponositi svojim Parkom Roberta Visianija i onim pred crkvom Gospe van grada, Perivojem fra Luje Maruna, koji je postao prava mala park-šuma bujne vegetacije, s visokim čempresima i divovskim divljim kestenima.
Lanjske godine u tom su parku obavljeni radovi na uvođenju suvremenog sustava automatskog prskanja njegovih nasada kojim se upravlja elektronički, na daljinu. Riječ je o američkom takozvanom "Bird drop" sustavu, ptičjem prskanju, kako bi se to na slobodniji način moglo prevesti na hrvatski.
Na svim površinama u tlu postavlja se velik broj prskalica međusobno povezanih, koje se uključuju po potrebi.
Nositelj toga zanimljivog ekološkog projekta je komunalna ustanova Zeleni grad, koja gospodari tim prostorima.
Počelo prije 90 godina
Nešto jednostavniji sustav natapanja instaliran je u Perivoju Roberta Visianija (hrvatski botaničar svjetskoga glasa), a bit će još sličnih zahvata na drugim gradskim zelenim površinama.
A sve je počelo prije gotovo punih devedeset godina, kad je usred parka gdje je u prošlosti bilo groblje izgrađen vodoskok. Voda je prskala iz središta s gromadom sedre donesene s rijeke Krke. To je zapravo biljka od koje su se taloženjem formirale i rasle barijere preko kojih se vode rijeke Krke s bukom (zato se i zove Skradinski buk) i slijevaju u maticu.

Sedreni otočić u parku rastao je kroz tolike godine, da bi danas činio veliku gromadu obraslu travom i algama na kojoj se odmaraju vodene kornjače, u bazenu su ribice, a na napoj dolaze stotine golubova. To je vjerojatno i jedno od najatraktivnijih i najprivlačnijih mjesta u gradu za turiste, gdje se zaustavljaju i fotografiraju.
Nama se sačuvala snimka fontane iz šezdesetih godina, usred koje kamen-biljka još zauzima mali prostor. No priroda je činila svoje, gromada je rasla, posljednjih godina čini se sve brže, pa je do danas zauzela velik dio cijele površine i teži nekoliko tona.
Obljetnica franjevačkog reda
Godine 2007. pred crkvom Gospe van grada, u njezinu perivoju, održana je velika vjerska svečanost, obilježavanje 800. godišnjice djelovanja franjevačkog reda i na našim prostorima, kojom prilikom je u parku otkriven i spomenik svetom Franji Asiškome, inače velikom ljubitelju prirode i životinja (na ruci drži golubicu), rad akademskoga kipara Aleksandra Guberine Ale.
Tom prigodom Šibenik je posjetio i Hose Rodrigo Carballo, generalni ministar franjevačkog reda, s kojim smo tada obavili i razgovor, a asistirao je svojim prijevodom dr. fra Šime Samac, meštar Novicijata visovačkog samostana, tada na dužnosti definitora toga reda.
A u vrele dane ovogodišnjega ljeta, fra Lujin perivoj brojnim je građanima pružao kutak za miran predah usred toga jedinstvenog podneblja prirode.

Jedan šibenski dragulj prirode, danas Perivoj fra Luje Maruna, još u 16. stoljeću spominje biskup i humanist, Šibenčanin Juraj Šižgorić.
Šibenik, brdovito smješten, nema puno zelenih površina, ali može se ponositi svojim Parkom Roberta Visianija i onim pred crkvom Gospe van grada, Perivojem fra Luje Maruna, koji je postao prava mala park-šuma bujne vegetacije, s visokim čempresima i divovskim divljim kestenima.
Lanjske godine u tom su parku obavljeni radovi na uvođenju suvremenog sustava automatskog prskanja njegovih nasada kojim se upravlja elektronički, na daljinu. Riječ je o američkom takozvanom "Bird drop" sustavu, ptičjem prskanju, kako bi se to na slobodniji način moglo prevesti na hrvatski.
Na svim površinama u tlu postavlja se velik broj prskalica međusobno povezanih, koje se uključuju po potrebi.
Nositelj toga zanimljivog ekološkog projekta je komunalna ustanova Zeleni grad, koja gospodari tim prostorima.
Počelo prije 90 godina
Nešto jednostavniji sustav natapanja instaliran je u Perivoju Roberta Visianija (hrvatski botaničar svjetskoga glasa), a bit će još sličnih zahvata na drugim gradskim zelenim površinama.
A sve je počelo prije gotovo punih devedeset godina, kad je usred parka gdje je u prošlosti bilo groblje izgrađen vodoskok. Voda je prskala iz središta s gromadom sedre donesene s rijeke Krke. To je zapravo biljka od koje su se taloženjem formirale i rasle barijere preko kojih se vode rijeke Krke s bukom (zato se i zove Skradinski buk) i slijevaju u maticu.

Sedreni otočić u parku rastao je kroz tolike godine, da bi danas činio veliku gromadu obraslu travom i algama na kojoj se odmaraju vodene kornjače, u bazenu su ribice, a na napoj dolaze stotine golubova. To je vjerojatno i jedno od najatraktivnijih i najprivlačnijih mjesta u gradu za turiste, gdje se zaustavljaju i fotografiraju.
Nama se sačuvala snimka fontane iz šezdesetih godina, usred koje kamen-biljka još zauzima mali prostor. No priroda je činila svoje, gromada je rasla, posljednjih godina čini se sve brže, pa je do danas zauzela velik dio cijele površine i teži nekoliko tona.
Obljetnica franjevačkog reda
Godine 2007. pred crkvom Gospe van grada, u njezinu perivoju, održana je velika vjerska svečanost, obilježavanje 800. godišnjice djelovanja franjevačkog reda i na našim prostorima, kojom prilikom je u parku otkriven i spomenik svetom Franji Asiškome, inače velikom ljubitelju prirode i životinja (na ruci drži golubicu), rad akademskoga kipara Aleksandra Guberine Ale.
Tom prigodom Šibenik je posjetio i Hose Rodrigo Carballo, generalni ministar franjevačkog reda, s kojim smo tada obavili i razgovor, a asistirao je svojim prijevodom dr. fra Šime Samac, meštar Novicijata visovačkog samostana, tada na dužnosti definitora toga reda.
A u vrele dane ovogodišnjega ljeta, fra Lujin perivoj brojnim je građanima pružao kutak za miran predah usred toga jedinstvenog podneblja prirode.
