Prošlo je 32 godine od onoga rujna 1991. godine kad je lokalni Radio Šibenik objavio – bilo je to 16. dana predvečer – da su neprijateljske oklopne snage iz smjera Benkovca izbile na prostor Šibenskoga mosta, pet kilometara od grada. Opasnost i neizvjesnost trajali su sedam dana, dok hrvatski branitelji uz pomoć topničke bitnice na Žirju nisu otjerali agresora, a grad je bio spašen. Šibenčani su, međutim, sve do vojno-redarstvene akcije “Oluja” u kolovozu 1995. godine trpjeli od neprijateljskoga terora, granatiranja civilnih objekata s poginulima i ranjenima. Takva je bila zločinačka agresorska “praksa” u napadu na Hrvatsku, a danas se to događa u golemim razmjerima u ruskoj agresiji na Ukrajinu.
Usprkos svemu, život u gradu nije stao. Živjelo se “između granata”, kad su radila i poduzeća i ustanove, iako su skloništa uvijek bila otvorena za moguća iznenađenja.
Neke trenutke iz svakodnevnoga života građana u to, već daleko doba i mi smo kamerom zabilježili na ulicama grada.

Pred jednu trgovinu s namirnicama došlo je malo vozilo za opskrbu dnevnim potrepštinama za kućanstva, sa svježim kruhom upravo ispečenim u pekarnici “Krke”, pogona bivšeg vlasnika trgovačkog kompleksa Stipe Šare. Vidjevši kako snimamo, jedan nas je čovjek pozdravio dižući u zrak štrucu bijeloga kruha.
Ništa drugo i nije trebao učiniti.
Ali od svojih navika nisu odustajali ni oni koji su se tradicionalno u druženju znali nalaziti pred kavanom “Medulić”. Ondje vidimo dvojicu građana koji su sjeli nakon prestanka sirene koja je označavala opću opasnost.
Jedan od njih, onaj koji stoji, pokojni je profesor Domagoj Vujić, okrenut prema nama pred staklima prozora prekriženih trakama protiv rasprskavanja u slučaju pogotka i eksplozije. U tom trenutku kavana je još bila zatvorena. Kasnije će se na tome mjestu okupiti još njih. Da u kavani odigraju partiju šaha, u čemu je Vujić bio majstor, ili kartašku partiju trešete.
Sjedilo se i družilo i u podzemnim prostorima “Medulića”, koje su šaljivci zvali “podmornica”.

Prošlo je 32 godine od onoga rujna 1991. godine kad je lokalni Radio Šibenik objavio – bilo je to 16. dana predvečer – da su neprijateljske oklopne snage iz smjera Benkovca izbile na prostor Šibenskoga mosta, pet kilometara od grada. Opasnost i neizvjesnost trajali su sedam dana, dok hrvatski branitelji uz pomoć topničke bitnice na Žirju nisu otjerali agresora, a grad je bio spašen. Šibenčani su, međutim, sve do vojno-redarstvene akcije “Oluja” u kolovozu 1995. godine trpjeli od neprijateljskoga terora, granatiranja civilnih objekata s poginulima i ranjenima. Takva je bila zločinačka agresorska “praksa” u napadu na Hrvatsku, a danas se to događa u golemim razmjerima u ruskoj agresiji na Ukrajinu.
Usprkos svemu, život u gradu nije stao. Živjelo se “između granata”, kad su radila i poduzeća i ustanove, iako su skloništa uvijek bila otvorena za moguća iznenađenja.
Neke trenutke iz svakodnevnoga života građana u to, već daleko doba i mi smo kamerom zabilježili na ulicama grada.

Pred jednu trgovinu s namirnicama došlo je malo vozilo za opskrbu dnevnim potrepštinama za kućanstva, sa svježim kruhom upravo ispečenim u pekarnici “Krke”, pogona bivšeg vlasnika trgovačkog kompleksa Stipe Šare. Vidjevši kako snimamo, jedan nas je čovjek pozdravio dižući u zrak štrucu bijeloga kruha.
Ništa drugo i nije trebao učiniti.
Ali od svojih navika nisu odustajali ni oni koji su se tradicionalno u druženju znali nalaziti pred kavanom “Medulić”. Ondje vidimo dvojicu građana koji su sjeli nakon prestanka sirene koja je označavala opću opasnost.
Jedan od njih, onaj koji stoji, pokojni je profesor Domagoj Vujić, okrenut prema nama pred staklima prozora prekriženih trakama protiv rasprskavanja u slučaju pogotka i eksplozije. U tom trenutku kavana je još bila zatvorena. Kasnije će se na tome mjestu okupiti još njih. Da u kavani odigraju partiju šaha, u čemu je Vujić bio majstor, ili kartašku partiju trešete.
Sjedilo se i družilo i u podzemnim prostorima “Medulića”, koje su šaljivci zvali “podmornica”.
