Direktorica europske agencije za javno zdravlje Andrea Ammon kazala je u srijedu da bi trebalo razmotriti davanje booster doza cjepiva protiv covida-19 svim odraslima, a prioritet bi trebali biti stariji od 40, što je velik zaokret u smjernicama te agencije.

Preporuke Europskog centra za prevenciju i kontrolu bolesti (ECDC) nisu obvezujuće za države članice EU-a, ali ih se koristi u donošenju odluka.

"Booster doze trebalo bi razmotriti za sve odrasle dajući prioritet starijima od 40 godina", kazala je Ammon, napominjući da bi ih trebalo davati najmanje šest mjeseci nakon cijepljenja drugom dozom.

U ranijoj preporuci u rujnu s Europskom agencijom za lijekove (EMA), ECDC je kazao da ne postoji hitna potreba za davanjem booster doza u cijelosti cijepljenima u općoj populaciji, ali je sugerirao da bi dodatne doze trebalo razmotriti za ljude s oslabljenim imunosnim sustavima te kao mjeru opreza za slabije starije osobe.

"Dostupni dokazi koji dolaze iz Izraela i Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva pokazuju značajno kratkoročno povećanje zaštitite od zaraze i teške bolesti nakon booster doze u svim dobnim skupinama", navodi ECDC u izvješću objavljenom u srijedu.

ECDC savjetuje da se booster doze daju svim odraslima, a prioritetno "onima u dobi od 40 godina i starijima":

Europska komisija uzet će ovaj savjet u obzir prilikom izdavanja preporuke za promjenu korištenja covida potvrda ovaj tjedan, kazali su dužnosnici.

Mnoge članice EU-a već su počele davati booster doze cjepiva, ali koriste različite kriterije za odabir skupina koje imaju prioritet te različite vremenske razmake između druge doze i booster doze.

Direktorica europske agencije za javno zdravlje Andrea Ammon kazala je u srijedu da bi trebalo razmotriti davanje booster doza cjepiva protiv covida-19 svim odraslima, a prioritet bi trebali biti stariji od 40, što je velik zaokret u smjernicama te agencije.

Preporuke Europskog centra za prevenciju i kontrolu bolesti (ECDC) nisu obvezujuće za države članice EU-a, ali ih se koristi u donošenju odluka.

"Booster doze trebalo bi razmotriti za sve odrasle dajući prioritet starijima od 40 godina", kazala je Ammon, napominjući da bi ih trebalo davati najmanje šest mjeseci nakon cijepljenja drugom dozom.

U ranijoj preporuci u rujnu s Europskom agencijom za lijekove (EMA), ECDC je kazao da ne postoji hitna potreba za davanjem booster doza u cijelosti cijepljenima u općoj populaciji, ali je sugerirao da bi dodatne doze trebalo razmotriti za ljude s oslabljenim imunosnim sustavima te kao mjeru opreza za slabije starije osobe.

"Dostupni dokazi koji dolaze iz Izraela i Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva pokazuju značajno kratkoročno povećanje zaštitite od zaraze i teške bolesti nakon booster doze u svim dobnim skupinama", navodi ECDC u izvješću objavljenom u srijedu.

ECDC savjetuje da se booster doze daju svim odraslima, a prioritetno "onima u dobi od 40 godina i starijima":

Europska komisija uzet će ovaj savjet u obzir prilikom izdavanja preporuke za promjenu korištenja covida potvrda ovaj tjedan, kazali su dužnosnici.

Mnoge članice EU-a već su počele davati booster doze cjepiva, ali koriste različite kriterije za odabir skupina koje imaju prioritet te različite vremenske razmake između druge doze i booster doze.

Direktorica europske agencije za javno zdravlje Andrea Ammon kazala je u srijedu da bi trebalo razmotriti davanje booster doza cjepiva protiv covida-19 svim odraslima, a prioritet bi trebali biti stariji od 40, što je velik zaokret u smjernicama te agencije.

Preporuke Europskog centra za prevenciju i kontrolu bolesti (ECDC) nisu obvezujuće za države članice EU-a, ali ih se koristi u donošenju odluka.

"Booster doze trebalo bi razmotriti za sve odrasle dajući prioritet starijima od 40 godina", kazala je Ammon, napominjući da bi ih trebalo davati najmanje šest mjeseci nakon cijepljenja drugom dozom.

U ranijoj preporuci u rujnu s Europskom agencijom za lijekove (EMA), ECDC je kazao da ne postoji hitna potreba za davanjem booster doza u cijelosti cijepljenima u općoj populaciji, ali je sugerirao da bi dodatne doze trebalo razmotriti za ljude s oslabljenim imunosnim sustavima te kao mjeru opreza za slabije starije osobe.

"Dostupni dokazi koji dolaze iz Izraela i Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva pokazuju značajno kratkoročno povećanje zaštitite od zaraze i teške bolesti nakon booster doze u svim dobnim skupinama", navodi ECDC u izvješću objavljenom u srijedu.

ECDC savjetuje da se booster doze daju svim odraslima, a prioritetno "onima u dobi od 40 godina i starijima":

Europska komisija uzet će ovaj savjet u obzir prilikom izdavanja preporuke za promjenu korištenja covida potvrda ovaj tjedan, kazali su dužnosnici.

Mnoge članice EU-a već su počele davati booster doze cjepiva, ali koriste različite kriterije za odabir skupina koje imaju prioritet te različite vremenske razmake između druge doze i booster doze.
