Imunolog Zlatko Trobonjača komentirao je za Dnevnik Nove TV mogući novi način cijepljenja, lijek i iduće faze epidemije.

Na pitanje misli li da će zbog čestih mutacija trebati uskoro mijenjati sastav cjepiva kazao je kako mRNA cjepiva dosta loše djeluju na ljude u smislu osobne zaštite ljudi.

- Mnogi se mogu inficirati, neki koji se inficiraju mogu prenositi virus, naravno puno manje nego oni koji nisu cijepljeni, to je važno napomenuti, jer se često spominje da ljudi koji su cijepljeni mogu prenositi virus. Takva IGA protutijela bi zasigurno bila zaštitna i puno više neutralizirala delta soj, ali i neke druge sojeve koji naravno ulaze preko nosne ili usne šupljine, nego ovo cjepivo koje se daje direktno u mišić.

Komentirao je i lijek protiv koronavirusa u obliku tableta.

- Znamo da je Pfizer krenuo u istraživanje i dizajn jednog lijeka koji bi trebao blokirati glavnu proteazu virusa. To je jedan pametan pristup u dizajnu lijeka protiv ovoga virusa jer, u principu, sada jedino što imamo u borbi protiv virusa od lijekova su kortikosteroidi koji se koriste u drugoj fazi virusne bolesti, dakle kada nastupa ona citokinska oluja i prekomjerna upala.

Kazao je i kako postoji mogućnost da se razvije opasniji soj od postojećih no kako je ona vrlo mala.

- Da se temeljem određene mutacije virus prilagodi, postane više zarazan, ali stekne određene karakteristike koje bi mogle voditi u razvoj teže bolesti pa čak i povećanje smrtnosti. Dakle, da, koronavirusi imaju takvu mogućnost, to znamo po SARS-u i po MERS-u. SARS ima smrtnost oko 10 posto, a MERS i preko 30 posto. Ovaj virus se ne može pretvoriti u SARS ili MERS jer je on evolucijski otišao jednim drugim putem.

Smatra da će pandemija s vremenom, vjerojatno tijekom iduće godine ili nekoliko godina, prijeći u endemiju, a to znači virus koji će neprekidno cirkulirati unutar naše populacije, ali bez većeg broja inficiranih ili će se taj broj inficiranih povećavati sezonski.

- Dogodit će se da će se jedna populacija inficirati, a za to vrijeme će dio populacije izgubiti imunost pa će ovaj inficirani dio zaraziti ovaj koji je postao osjetljiv na virus. Dok ova preboli pojavit će se nova populacija koja će se opet moći inficirati i doći ćemo u jedno stanje koje ja vrlo često opisujem poput mačke koja lovi svoj rep. Stalno će se oslobađati jedna populacija koja će biti osjetljiva i omogućavati da virus trajno traje u obliku endemije u našoj populaciji - kazao je Trobonjača, prenosi Dnevnik.hr.

Imunolog Zlatko Trobonjača komentirao je za Dnevnik Nove TV mogući novi način cijepljenja, lijek i iduće faze epidemije.

Na pitanje misli li da će zbog čestih mutacija trebati uskoro mijenjati sastav cjepiva kazao je kako mRNA cjepiva dosta loše djeluju na ljude u smislu osobne zaštite ljudi.

- Mnogi se mogu inficirati, neki koji se inficiraju mogu prenositi virus, naravno puno manje nego oni koji nisu cijepljeni, to je važno napomenuti, jer se često spominje da ljudi koji su cijepljeni mogu prenositi virus. Mogu, ali daleko, daleko manje. Sama činjenica da se manje inficiraju i da oni koji se inficiraju imaju puno manje virusa u svom tijelu, onda naravno da manje prenose - rekao je profesor te potvrdio da će se sastav cjepiva vjerojatno mijenjati.

- Vidimo da je delta virus po svojim obilježjima poseban virus unutar SARS-CoV2 skupine virusa. Dakle, da se izuzetno snažno množi u nosnoj i usnoj šupljini i da ga zbog toga mRNA cjepiva relativno slabo kontroliraju. U principu bilo bi puno bolje kad bismo imali cjepivo koje bi moglo viditi u snažno stvaranje IGA protutijela pa se zato razmišlja o proizvodnji cjepiva koje bi se davalo intranazalno, dakle u obliku jednoga spreja uštrcavalo u nosnu šupljinu. Takva IGA protutijela bi zasigurno bila zaštitna i puno više neutralizirala delta soj, ali i neke druge sojeve koji naravno ulaze preko nosne ili usne šupljine, nego ovo cjepivo koje se daje direktno u mišić.

Komentirao je i lijek protiv koronavirusa u obliku tableta.

- Znamo da je Pfizer krenuo u istraživanje i dizajn jednog lijeka koji bi trebao blokirati glavnu proteazu virusa. To je jedan pametan pristup u dizajnu lijeka protiv ovoga virusa jer, u principu, sada jedino što imamo u borbi protiv virusa od lijekova su kortikosteroidi koji se koriste u drugoj fazi virusne bolesti, dakle kada nastupa ona citokinska oluja i prekomjerna upala.

Kazao je i kako postoji mogućnost da se razvije opasniji soj od postojećih no kako je ona vrlo mala.

- Da se temeljem određene mutacije virus prilagodi, postane više zarazan, ali stekne određene karakteristike koje bi mogle voditi u razvoj teže bolesti pa čak i povećanje smrtnosti. Dakle, da, koronavirusi imaju takvu mogućnost, to znamo po SARS-u i po MERS-u. SARS ima smrtnost oko 10 posto, a MERS i preko 30 posto. Ovaj virus se ne može pretvoriti u SARS ili MERS jer je on evolucijski otišao jednim drugim putem.

Smatra da će pandemija s vremenom, vjerojatno tijekom iduće godine ili nekoliko godina, prijeći u endemiju, a to znači virus koji će neprekidno cirkulirati unutar naše populacije, ali bez većeg broja inficiranih ili će se taj broj inficiranih povećavati sezonski.

- Dogodit će se da će se jedna populacija inficirati, a za to vrijeme će dio populacije izgubiti imunost pa će ovaj inficirani dio zaraziti ovaj koji je postao osjetljiv na virus. Dok ova preboli pojavit će se nova populacija koja će se opet moći inficirati i doći ćemo u jedno stanje koje ja vrlo često opisujem poput mačke koja lovi svoj rep. Imunolog Zlatko Trobonjača komentirao je za Dnevnik Nove TV mogući novi način cijepljenja, lijek i iduće faze epidemije.

Na pitanje misli li da će zbog čestih mutacija trebati uskoro mijenjati sastav cjepiva kazao je kako mRNA cjepiva dosta loše djeluju na ljude u smislu osobne zaštite ljudi.

- Mnogi se mogu inficirati, neki koji se inficiraju mogu prenositi virus, naravno puno manje nego oni koji nisu cijepljeni, to je važno napomenuti, jer se često spominje da ljudi koji su cijepljeni mogu prenositi virus. Mogu, ali daleko, daleko manje. Sama činjenica da se manje inficiraju i da oni koji se inficiraju imaju puno manje virusa u svom tijelu, onda naravno da manje prenose - rekao je profesor te potvrdio da će se sastav cjepiva vjerojatno mijenjati.

- Vidimo da je delta virus po svojim obilježjima poseban virus unutar SARS-CoV2 skupine virusa. Dakle, da se izuzetno snažno množi u nosnoj i usnoj šupljini i da ga zbog toga mRNA cjepiva relativno slabo kontroliraju. U principu bilo bi puno bolje kad bismo imali cjepivo koje bi moglo viditi u snažno stvaranje IGA protutijela pa se zato razmišlja o proizvodnji cjepiva koje bi se davalo intranazalno, dakle u obliku jednoga spreja uštrcavalo u nosnu šupljinu. Takva IGA protutijela bi zasigurno bila zaštitna i puno više neutralizirala delta soj, ali i neke druge sojeve koji naravno ulaze preko nosne ili usne šupljine, nego ovo cjepivo koje se daje direktno u mišić.

Komentirao je i lijek protiv koronavirusa u obliku tableta.

- Znamo da je Pfizer krenuo u istraživanje i dizajn jednog lijeka koji bi trebao blokirati glavnu proteazu virusa. To je jedan pametan pristup u dizajnu lijeka protiv ovoga virusa jer, u principu, sada jedino što imamo u borbi protiv virusa od lijekova su kortikosteroidi koji se koriste u drugoj fazi virusne bolesti, dakle kada nastupa ona citokinska oluja i prekomjerna upala.

Kazao je i kako postoji mogućnost da se razvije opasniji soj od postojećih no kako je ona vrlo mala.
