Hrvatsko novinarsko društvo u četvrtak je poručilo da je presuda novinarki Davorki Blažević, koja zbog povrede časti i ugleda sutkinji Vrhovnog suda Senki Klarić Baranović mora platiti 75.000 kuna odštete i troškove postupka, skandalozna i predstavlja udar na novinarsku profesiju.
“Presuda protiv kolegice Blažević, uz koju HND čvrsto stoji, još jednom pokazuje manipulaciju zakona, pri čemu su ‘duševne boli‘ postale unosan posao na štetu onih koji rade u interesu javnosti”, rekao je u priopćenju predsjednik HND-a Hrvoje Zovko.
Upozorio je i da je Hrvatska u europskim okvirima prepoznata kao najproblematičnija zemlja kada je riječ o SLAPP tužbama te poručio da HND neće odustati od zahtjeva da se dekriminaliziraju sva djela protiv časti i ugleda.

“Ovakve presude ujedno znače i nastavak zastrašivanja i u konačnici financijskog uništenja novinara", istaknuo je Zovko.
Radi se o ponovljenoj postupku koji je protiv novinarke Blažević, pokrenula sutkinja Klarić Baranović zbog članka objavljenog 2015. na portalu Tris.com, u kojemu je novinarka komentirala odluku Vrhovnog suda u slučaju “Fimi Media”, navodi se u priopćenju HND-a.
Blažević je ocijenila da je ta presuda klasično discipliniranje kritičkog novinarstva, ušutkavanje novinara visokim novčanim kaznama, ali i jasna poruka medijima da se o sucima ne smije kritički govoriti jer su nedodirljivi.

Istaknula je kako je nova presuda, bez ikakvih novih dokaza koji bi bili izvedeni na sudu, potpuno suprotna od prethodne u kojoj je oslobođena krivnje.
“A sad se od mene traži 75 tisuća kuna za "duševne boli" i plus troškovi postupka, ukupno preko sto tisuća kuna! Što to naši sudovi rade? Kako su moguća tako velika odstupanja”, upitala je Blažević u izjavi HND-u.
Iz HND-a ističu da je sutkinja od novinarke tražila i još poveći iznos od ukupno 150 tisuća kuna odštete, ali je sud odbio dio tužbenog zahtjeva u iznosu od 75.000 kuna kao neosnovan. Podsjećaju da se radi o ponovljenom suđenju, nakon što je Županijski sud u Zagrebu ukinuo prvostupanjsko rješenje i predmet vratio sudu u Šibeniku na ponovni postupak.

Hrvatsko novinarsko društvo u četvrtak je poručilo da je presuda novinarki Davorki Blažević, koja zbog povrede časti i ugleda sutkinji Vrhovnog suda Senki Klarić Baranović mora platiti 75.000 kuna odštete i troškove postupka, skandalozna i predstavlja udar na novinarsku profesiju.
“Presuda protiv kolegice Blažević, uz koju HND čvrsto stoji, još jednom pokazuje manipulaciju zakona, pri čemu su ‘duševne boli‘ postale unosan posao na štetu onih koji rade u interesu javnosti”, rekao je u priopćenju predsjednik HND-a Hrvoje Zovko.
Upozorio je i da je Hrvatska u europskim okvirima prepoznata kao najproblematičnija zemlja kada je riječ o SLAPP tužbama te poručio da HND neće odustati od zahtjeva da se dekriminaliziraju sva djela protiv časti i ugleda.

“Ovakve presude ujedno znače i nastavak zastrašivanja i u konačnici financijskog uništenja novinara", istaknuo je Zovko.
Radi se o ponovljenoj postupku koji je protiv novinarke Blažević, pokrenula sutkinja Klarić Baranović zbog članka objavljenog 2015. na portalu Tris.com, u kojemu je novinarka komentirala odluku Vrhovnog suda u slučaju “Fimi Media”, navodi se u priopćenju HND-a.
Blažević je ocijenila da je ta presuda klasično discipliniranje kritičkog novinarstva, ušutkavanje novinara visokim novčanim kaznama, ali i jasna poruka medijima da se o sucima ne smije kritički govoriti jer su nedodirljivi.

Istaknula je kako je nova presuda, bez ikakvih novih dokaza koji bi bili izvedeni na sudu, potpuno suprotna od prethodne u kojoj je oslobođena krivnje.
“A sad se od mene traži 75 tisuća kuna za "duševne boli" i plus troškovi postupka, ukupno preko sto tisuća kuna! Što to naši sudovi rade? Kako su moguća tako velika odstupanja”, upitala je Blažević u izjavi HND-u.
Iz HND-a ističu da je sutkinja od novinarke tražila i još poveći iznos od ukupno 150 tisuća kuna odštete, ali je sud odbio dio tužbenog zahtjeva u iznosu od 75.000 kuna kao neosnovan. Podsjećaju da se radi o ponovljenom suđenju, nakon što je Županijski sud u Zagrebu ukinuo prvostupanjsko rješenje i predmet vratio sudu u Šibeniku na ponovni postupak.
