Platforma za online gledanje filmova i serija podiže cijene svojih standardnih i premium paketa, za početak, američkim korisnicima. Nakon velikog porasta novih pretplatnika dogodila se logična stagnacija koju uprava pak nije predvidjela pa su povećanjem pretplata digli cijenu dionica, piše CNN Business.
Njihov standardni plan sada će iznositi 14 dolara mjesečno, što je 1 dolar mjesečno više u odnosu na prošlu godinu. Njihova pretplata na premium paket poskupit će 2 dolara i narasti 18 dolara mjesečno. Cijena osnovnog paketa ostaje nepromijenjen i iznosi 9 dolara.
Nove cijene na snagu će stupiti odmah za nove članove, dok će trenutni članovi biti obaviješteni da im se pretplata povećava kako se bude uvodila tijekom sljedećih nekoliko mjeseci.
"Shvaćamo da ljudi imaju više izbora nego ikad i predani smo pružanju još boljeg iskustva našim članovima. Ažuriramo cijene kako bismo mogli i dalje nuditi više različitih TV emisija i filmova," rekao je glasnogovornik Netflixa za medije.
Glasnogovornik je dodao da Netflix nudi niz mogućnosti kako bi ljudi mogli odabrati cijenu koja najbolje odgovara njihovom budžetu.
Na kreiranje novih sadržaja troši se milijarde pa je povećanje cijena bilo pitanje trenutka bez mogućnosti da do toga ne dođe. Više se isplati podići cijene nego gubiti korisnike zbog nedovoljnog broja serija i filmova. Posebno u vrijeme pandemije kada kino nije opcija rashodi će sigurno povećati njihove prihode jer su ljudi željni novih sadržaja.
"Osnovni model koji imamo i ono što mislimo da je zaista naša odgovornost i naš posao je da uzmemo novac koji nam daju naši članovi svakog mjeseca i uložimo ga što razumnije i pametnije. Ako to učinimo dobro ... i poboljšamo našu učinkovitost i djelotvornost, pružit ćemo našim članovima veću vrijednost, a povremeno ćemo onda morati tražiti od tih članova da plate malo više kako bismo svi skupa zadržali ciklus ulaganja i stvaranja vrijednosti," rekao je Greg Peters, glavni operativni direktor Netflixa.
Povećanje cijena najavljeno je uslijed saznanja o stagnaciji i usporavanju rasta broja novih pretplatnika što je utjecalo i na Netflixovu dobit. Odmah nakon najave dionice su narasle za pet posto, a isto se dogodilo i s dionicama drugih streaming platformi za koje se očekuje da će slijediti Netflixov primjer.

Platforma za online gledanje filmova i serija podiže cijene svojih standardnih i premium paketa, za početak, američkim korisnicima. Nakon velikog porasta novih pretplatnika dogodila se logična stagnacija koju uprava pak nije predvidjela pa su povećanjem pretplata digli cijenu dionica, piše CNN Business.
Njihov standardni plan sada će iznositi 14 dolara mjesečno, što je 1 dolar mjesečno više u odnosu na prošlu godinu. Njihova pretplata na premium paket poskupit će 2 dolara i narasti 18 dolara mjesečno. Cijena osnovnog paketa ostaje nepromijenjen i iznosi 9 dolara.
Nove cijene na snagu će stupiti odmah za nove članove, dok će trenutni članovi biti obaviješteni da im se pretplata povećava kako se bude uvodila tijekom sljedećih nekoliko mjeseci.
"Shvaćamo da ljudi imaju više izbora nego ikad i predani smo pružanju još boljeg iskustva našim članovima. Ažuriramo cijene kako bismo mogli i dalje nuditi više različitih TV emisija i filmova," rekao je glasnogovornik Netflixa za medije.
Glasnogovornik je dodao da Netflix nudi niz mogućnosti kako bi ljudi mogli odabrati cijenu koja najbolje odgovara njihovom budžetu.
Na kreiranje novih sadržaja troši se milijarde pa je povećanje cijena bilo pitanje trenutka bez mogućnosti da do toga ne dođe. Više se isplati podići cijene nego gubiti korisnike zbog nedovoljnog broja serija i filmova. Posebno u vrijeme pandemije kada kino nije opcija rashodi će sigurno povećati njihove prihode jer su ljudi željni novih sadržaja.
"Osnovni model koji imamo i ono što mislimo da je zaista naša odgovornost i naš posao je da uzmemo novac koji nam daju naši članovi svakog mjeseca i uložimo ga što razumnije i pametnije. Ako to učinimo dobro ... i poboljšamo našu učinkovitost i djelotvornost, pružit ćemo našim članovima veću vrijednost, a povremeno ćemo onda morati tražiti od tih članova da plate malo više kako bismo svi skupa zadržali ciklus ulaganja i stvaranja vrijednosti," rekao je Greg Peters, glavni operativni direktor Netflixa.
Povećanje cijena najavljeno je uslijed saznanja o stagnaciji i usporavanju rasta broja novih pretplatnika što je utjecalo i na Netflixovu dobit. Odmah nakon najave dionice su narasle za pet posto, a isto se dogodilo i s dionicama drugih streaming platformi za koje se očekuje da će slijediti Netflixov primjer.
