Sportaši, nacionalni olimpijski odbori i sportski savezi iz cijelog svijeta reagirali su u utorak na vijesti da su Olimpijske igre u Tokiju odgođene zbog koronavirusa.


Nakon nekoliko tjedana intenzivnog nagađanja i kritika, japanski premijer Shinzo Abe i predsjednik Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO) Thomas Bach su se usuglasili da se Igre odgode za ljeto sljedeće godine.
Ova je odgoda prva od u modernoj eri u doba mira. Igre 1940. i 1944. su bile odgođene zbog Drugog svjetskog rata.
Nakon vijesti o odgodi uslijedile su brojne reakcije.


Predsjednik Britanskog olimpijskog odbora (BOA) Andy Andson je izražavajući žaljenje zbog odluke, ocijenio kako je to jedina prava odluka koja je mogla bii donesena u sadašnjim okolnostima.
"S dubokim žaljenjem prihvaćamo odgodu, ali smo svjesni da je to jedina odluka koju možemo podržati u svjetlu razarajućeg učinka kojeg COVID-19 ima na naš narod, naše zajednice i naše obitelji. Vrijeme je da prestanemo razmišljati o Tokiju 2020. i da budemo na sigurnom sa svojim obiteljima", rekao je Andson.


Predsjednik Španjolskog olimpijskog odbora Alejandro Blanco odluku o odgodi je nazvao dobrom viješću.
"MOO nam je dao dobru vijest objavivši da su Igre u Tokiju odgođene. To će sada omogućiti svim sportašima da budu sposobni natjecati se u jednakim uvjetima i sačuvat će njihovo zdravlje, baš kao što smo i tražili otkako je kriza počela".


Alfons Hormann, predsjednik Njemačkog olimpijskog odbora (DOSB) ovu odluku o odgodi smatra jedinom ispravnom i važnom.
"Brza i jasna poruka da se odgode olimpijske i paraolimpijske igre je ispravna i izrazito važan korak za međunarodni sport i cijelu svjetsku zajednicu. To je i potvrda svjetskom stanovništvu da je i u sportu učinjeno sve da se pandemija dovede pod kontrolu na najbolji mogući način što je prije moguće", rekao je Hormann.


Glavni tajnik inijskog olimpijskog saveza Rajeev Mehta smatra da je ova odluka donijela veliko olakšanje za sportaše koji su pokušavali trenirati za vrijeme pandemije s nadom da će za četiri mjeseca ostvariti najbolje moguće rezultate.


Svjetski rugby savez se također slaže da je ovo jedina ispravna odluka.
"Zdravlje i sigurnost sportaša, navijača i svih uključenih u proces olimpijskih igara je naš zajednički prioritet i odgovornost i vjerujemo da je donesna ispravna odluka u ovim teškim i do sada neviđenim okolnostima", ističe Svjetski rugby savez.


"Radujemo se da ćemo blisko surađivati u duhu partnerstva s MOO-om, organizacijskim odborom Tokio 2020 i svim ostalim sudionicima u odgađanju Igara i naše uvjerenje nastalo nakon svjetskog prvenstva u rugbyju 2019. u Japanu je da će domaćini iz svega ovoga izaći jači i predaniji nego prije kako osigurali izvanredne Igre".

Sportaši, nacionalni olimpijski odbori i sportski savezi iz cijelog svijeta reagirali su u utorak na vijesti da su Olimpijske igre u Tokiju odgođene zbog koronavirusa.


Nakon nekoliko tjedana intenzivnog nagađanja i kritika, japanski premijer Shinzo Abe i predsjednik Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO) Thomas Bach su se usuglasili da se Igre odgode za ljeto sljedeće godine.
Ova je odgoda prva od u modernoj eri u doba mira. Igre 1940. i 1944. su bile odgođene zbog Drugog svjetskog rata.
Nakon vijesti o odgodi uslijedile su brojne reakcije.


Predsjednik Britanskog olimpijskog odbora (BOA) Andy Andson je izražavajući žaljenje zbog odluke, ocijenio kako je to jedina prava odluka koja je mogla bii donesena u sadašnjim okolnostima.
"S dubokim žaljenjem prihvaćamo odgodu, ali smo svjesni da je to jedina odluka koju možemo podržati u svjetlu razarajućeg učinka kojeg COVID-19 ima na naš narod, naše zajednice i naše obitelji. Vrijeme je da prestanemo razmišljati o Tokiju 2020. i da budemo na sigurnom sa svojim obiteljima", rekao je Andson.


Predsjednik Španjolskog olimpijskog odbora Alejandro Blanco odluku o odgodi je nazvao dobrom viješću.
"MOO nam je dao dobru vijest objavivši da su Igre u Tokiju odgođene. To će sada omogućiti svim sportašima da budu sposobni natjecati se u jednakim uvjetima i sačuvat će njihovo zdravlje, baš kao što smo i tražili otkako je kriza počela".


Alfons Hormann, predsjednik Njemačkog olimpijskog odbora (DOSB) ovu odluku o odgodi smatra jedinom ispravnom i važnom.
"Brza i jasna poruka da se odgode olimpijske i paraolimpijske igre je ispravna i izrazito važan korak za međunarodni sport i cijelu svjetsku zajednicu. To je i potvrda svjetskom stanovništvu da je i u sportu učinjeno sve da se pandemija dovede pod kontrolu na najbolji mogući način što je prije moguće", rekao je Hormann.


Glavni tajnik inijskog olimpijskog saveza Rajeev Mehta smatra da je ova odluka donijela veliko olakšanje za sportaše koji su pokušavali trenirati za vrijeme pandemije s nadom da će za četiri mjeseca ostvariti najbolje moguće rezultate.


Svjetski rugby savez se također slaže da je ovo jedina ispravna odluka.
"Zdravlje i sigurnost sportaša, navijača i svih uključenih u proces olimpijskih igara je naš zajednički prioritet i odgovornost i vjerujemo da je donesna ispravna odluka u ovim teškim i do sada neviđenim okolnostima", ističe Svjetski rugby savez.


"Radujemo se da ćemo blisko surađivati u duhu partnerstva s MOO-om, organizacijskim odborom Tokio 2020 i svim ostalim sudionicima u odgađanju Igara i naše uvjerenje nastalo nakon svjetskog prvenstva u rugbyju 2019. u Japanu je da će domaćini iz svega ovoga izaći jači i predaniji nego prije kako osigurali izvanredne Igre".

Sportaši, nacionalni olimpijski odbori i sportski savezi iz cijelog svijeta reagirali su u utorak na vijesti da su Olimpijske igre u Tokiju odgođene zbog koronavirusa.


Nakon nekoliko tjedana intenzivnog nagađanja i kritika, japanski premijer Shinzo Abe i predsjednik Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO) Thomas Bach su se usuglasili da se Igre odgode za ljeto sljedeće godine.
Ova je odgoda prva od u modernoj eri u doba mira. Igre 1940. i 1944. su bile odgođene zbog Drugog svjetskog rata.
Nakon vijesti o odgodi uslijedile su brojne reakcije.


Predsjednik Britanskog olimpijskog odbora (BOA) Andy Andson je izražavajući žaljenje zbog odluke, ocijenio kako je to jedina prava odluka koja je mogla bii donesena u sadašnjim okolnostima.
"S dubokim žaljenjem prihvaćamo odgodu, ali smo svjesni da je to jedina odluka koju možemo podržati u svjetlu razarajućeg učinka kojeg COVID-19 ima na naš narod, naše zajednice i naše obitelji. Vrijeme je da prestanemo razmišljati o Tokiju 2020. i da budemo na sigurnom sa svojim obiteljima", rekao je Andson.


Predsjednik Španjolskog olimpijskog odbora Alejandro Blanco odluku o odgodi je nazvao dobrom viješću.
"MOO nam je dao dobru vijest objavivši da su Igre u Tokiju odgođene. To će sada omogućiti svim sportašima da budu sposobni natjecati se u jednakim uvjetima i sačuvat će njihovo zdravlje, baš kao što smo i tražili otkako je kriza počela".


Alfons Hormann, predsjednik Njemačkog olimpijskog odbora (DOSB) ovu odluku o odgodi smatra jedinom ispravnom i važnom.
"Brza i jasna poruka da se odgode olimpijske i paraolimpijske igre je ispravna i izrazito važan korak za međunarodni sport i cijelu svjetsku zajednicu. To je i potvrda svjetskom stanovništvu da je i u sportu učinjeno sve da se pandemija dovede pod kontrolu na najbolji mogući način što je prije moguće", rekao je Hormann.


Glavni tajnik inijskog olimpijskog saveza Rajeev Mehta smatra da je ova odluka donijela veliko olakšanje za sportaše koji su pokušavali trenirati za vrijeme pandemije s nadom da će za četiri mjeseca ostvariti najbolje moguće rezultate.


Svjetski rugby savez se također slaže da je ovo jedina ispravna odluka.
"Zdravlje i sigurnost sportaša, navijača i svih uključenih u proces olimpijskih igara je naš zajednički prioritet i odgovornost i vjerujemo da je donesna ispravna odluka u ovim teškim i do sada neviđenim okolnostima", ističe Svjetski rugby savez.


"Radujemo se da ćemo blisko surađivati u duhu partnerstva s MOO-om, organizacijskim odborom Tokio 2020 i svim ostalim sudionicima u odgađanju Igara i naše uvjerenje nastalo nakon svjetskog prvenstva u rugbyju 2019. u Japanu je da će domaćini iz svega ovoga izaći jači i predaniji nego prije kako osigurali izvanredne Igre".
