Duje Ćaleta-Car prije dvije godine bio je za neke “neprijatelj nacije“, a danas je uzdanica Hrvata na Europskom prvenstvu. Možda nikad neće biti junak za pojedine navijače, iako ćemo to vidjeti ako se istakne vrhunskim igrama, no već i to što ga Hrvatska ima danas kad ga treba pobjeda je Zlatka Dalića kojemu su nerijetki spočitnuli što pruža ruku “izdajniku“.

Nakon ozljede Dejana Lovrena, on je gotovo siguran starter na Europskom prvenstvu koje kreće za manje od dva tjedna.

Brojni mu nisu mogli oprostiti otkaz mladoj reprezentaciji, budući da s njom nije išao na Euro. Ćaleta-Car, koji je jako puno dobio od Hrvatske, tako i mjesto u nacionalnoj vrsti na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Rusiji, imao je u lipnju 2019. godine “važnijeg posla“ od nastupa za U-21. Time je nanio izravnu i posljedičnu štetu hrvatskom nogometu jer nije dao pozitivan obol rezultatu, koji je ispao loš, a najgore bi bilo da se još tko ugleda u njega.

Dalić ga je upozorio da ne “griješi dušu“, no ostao je ustrajan i nije se odazvao Nenadu Gračanu, tvrdeći da mu o pripremama s Marseilleom bitno ovisi klupska karijera, a pisalo se i da ima privatne motive... Izbornik ga zbog toga nije uvrstio niti sekundu u igru na utakmici s Tunisom, držao ga je na ledu u sljedeće dvije akcije. No, u studenom 2019., nakon što su Lovren i Vida otpali zbog kartona za odlučujuću utakmicu na putu do Eura sa Slovačkom u Rijeci, pružio mu je novu šansu. Nakon dvije godine od žigosanog i prezrenog Ćaleta-Car je dobrim igram u Marseilleu i problemima koje Vatreni imaju na stoperskim mjestima postao oslonac i bitno ime. Čovjek koji Daliću treba i od kojeg Hrvatska puno očekuje.

Najveća scena

Dalić ga je spasio za hrvatski nogomet. U njemu danas ima najvrjednijeg obrambenog igrača koji na Transfermarktu stoji 25 milijuna eura, iza sebe ima sezonu s 39 nastupa i službenu ponudu Liverpoola. Nenad Gračan je gubitnik jer nije ga dobio kad ga je trebao, Duje Ćaleta-Car je pobjednik jer se izvukao bez prevelike kazne, ali najviše zbog toga što za Hrvatsku želi igrati te je od kadeta bio stalan u svim nacionalnim vrstama, a sad to može pokazati na najvećoj sceni, dok je Dalić dobio potvrdu svojoj tezi da Hrvatska mora učiniti sve kako ne izgubila nijednog igrača. Dalića ćemo pogotovo titulirati dobitnikom ako Ćaleta-Car opravda očekivanja na Euru.

Duje Ćaleta-Car prije dvije godine bio je za neke “neprijatelj nacije“, a danas je uzdanica Hrvata na Europskom prvenstvu. Možda nikad neće biti junak za pojedine navijače, iako ćemo to vidjeti ako se istakne vrhunskim igrama, no već i to što ga Hrvatska ima danas kad ga treba pobjeda je Zlatka Dalića kojemu su nerijetki spočitnuli što pruža ruku “izdajniku“.

Nakon ozljede Dejana Lovrena, on je gotovo siguran starter na Europskom prvenstvu koje kreće za manje od dva tjedna.

Brojni mu nisu mogli oprostiti otkaz mladoj reprezentaciji, budući da s njom nije išao na Euro. Ćaleta-Car, koji je jako puno dobio od Hrvatske, tako i mjesto u nacionalnoj vrsti na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Rusiji, imao je u lipnju 2019. godine “važnijeg posla“ od nastupa za U-21. Time je nanio izravnu i posljedičnu štetu hrvatskom nogometu jer nije dao pozitivan obol rezultatu, koji je ispao loš, a najgore bi bilo da se još tko ugleda u njega.

Dalić ga je upozorio da ne “griješi dušu“, no ostao je ustrajan i nije se odazvao Nenadu Gračanu, tvrdeći da mu o pripremama s Marseilleom bitno ovisi klupska karijera, a pisalo se i da ima privatne motive... Izbornik ga zbog toga nije uvrstio niti sekundu u igru na utakmici s Tunisom, držao ga je na ledu u sljedeće dvije akcije. No, u studenom 2019., nakon što su Lovren i Vida otpali zbog kartona za odlučujuću utakmicu na putu do Eura sa Slovačkom u Rijeci, pružio mu je novu šansu. Nakon dvije godine od žigosanog i prezrenog Ćaleta-Car je dobrim igram u Marseilleu i problemima koje Vatreni imaju na stoperskim mjestima postao oslonac i bitno ime. Čovjek koji Daliću treba i od kojeg Hrvatska puno očekuje.

Najveća scena

Dalić ga je spasio za hrvatski nogomet. U njemu danas ima najvrjednijeg obrambenog igrača koji na Transfermarktu stoji 25 milijuna eura, iza sebe ima sezonu s 39 nastupa i službenu ponudu Liverpoola. Nenad Gračan je gubitnik jer nije ga dobio kad ga je trebao, Duje Ćaleta-Car je pobjednik jer se izvukao bez prevelike kazne, ali najviše zbog toga što za Hrvatsku želi igrati te je od kadeta bio stalan u svim nacionalnim vrstama, a sad to može pokazati na najvećoj sceni, dok je Dalić dobio potvrdu svojoj tezi da Hrvatska mora učiniti sve kako ne izgubila nijednog igrača. Dalića ćemo pogotovo titulirati dobitnikom ako Ćaleta-Car opravda očekivanja na Euru.

Duje Ćaleta-Car prije dvije godine bio je za neke “neprijatelj nacije“, a danas je uzdanica Hrvata na Europskom prvenstvu. Možda nikad neće biti junak za pojedine navijače, iako ćemo to vidjeti ako se istakne vrhunskim igrama, no već i to što ga Hrvatska ima danas kad ga treba pobjeda je Zlatka Dalića kojemu su nerijetki spočitnuli što pruža ruku “izdajniku“.

Nakon ozljede Dejana Lovrena, on je gotovo siguran starter na Europskom prvenstvu koje kreće za manje od dva tjedna.

Brojni mu nisu mogli oprostiti otkaz mladoj reprezentaciji, budući da s njom nije išao na Euro. Ćaleta-Car, koji je jako puno dobio od Hrvatske, tako i mjesto u nacionalnoj vrsti na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Rusiji, imao je u lipnju 2019. godine “važnijeg posla“ od nastupa za U-21. Time je nanio izravnu i posljedičnu štetu hrvatskom nogometu jer nije dao pozitivan obol rezultatu, koji je ispao loš, a najgore bi bilo da se još tko ugleda u njega.

Dalić ga je upozorio da ne “griješi dušu“, no ostao je ustrajan i nije se odazvao Nenadu Gračanu, tvrdeći da mu o pripremama s Marseilleom bitno ovisi klupska karijera, a pisalo se i da ima privatne motive... Izbornik ga zbog toga nije uvrstio niti sekundu u igru na utakmici s Tunisom, držao ga je na ledu u sljedeće dvije akcije. No, u studenom 2019., nakon što su Lovren i Vida otpali zbog kartona za odlučujuću utakmicu na putu do Eura sa Slovačkom u Rijeci, pružio mu je novu šansu. Nakon dvije godine od žigosanog i prezrenog Ćaleta-Car je dobrim igram u Marseilleu i problemima koje Vatreni imaju na stoperskim mjestima postao oslonac i bitno ime. Čovjek koji Daliću treba i od kojeg Hrvatska puno očekuje.

Najveća scena

Dalić ga je spasio za hrvatski nogomet. U njemu danas ima najvrjednijeg obrambenog igrača koji na Transfermarktu stoji 25 milijuna eura, iza sebe ima sezonu s 39 nastupa i službenu ponudu Liverpoola.
