Ivan Božić iza sebe je ostavio dinamičnu godinu u kojoj je promijenio tri kormila; Hrvatski dragovoljac, Dubrava TK, pa Vukovar 1991. Za početak malo o sigetskoj priči...

- Uzeo sam nešto čega bi se malo tko prihvatio. Doslovno smo spašavali klub kojemu je prijetilo gašenje. Uspjeli smo se skrpati i izvući sezonu do kraja, pritom se nismo osramotili. Prvaku Rudešu uzeli smo bod, dvaput remizirali s Dubravom, remizirali i u Zmijavcima, dobili Jarun, pa i Dugopolje u gostima... Uglavnom, osvojili smo više bodova nego u prvom dijelu sezone, s tim da smo proljetni nastavak odigrali bez priprema. Iako smo ispali iz lige, dionicu u HD-u ne smatram neuspjehom - napominje Božić, koji je ljetos promijenio sredinu, ali je ostao pod sigetskim neboderima gdje je Dubrava igrala domaće utakmice.

- Vodio sam Dubravu deset kola, ostavio sam je na 6. mjestu. Vani smo bili zapaženiji, premda zapravo nismo ni imali domaći teren u pravom smislu. Zgodna epizoda, korektna suradnja, svakako korak naprijed za mene.

A onda - novi iskorak. U listopadu, nakon neočekivane smjene Miroslava Bojka, na zaslonu Božićeva mobitela zabljeskao je poziv iz Vukovara...

- Zahvaljujem još jednom klupskim čelnicima na povjerenju. Nisam se uplašio tog izazova jer sam poznavao tu momčad od ranije, a budući da vjerujem u svoj rad znao sam da u takvim okolnostima teško može doći do greške.

Ipak, nije krenulo dobro... - Remizirali smo kod kuće sa Šibenikom (1:1), premda nisam vodio tu utakmicu, pa onda izgubili u gostima od Zrinskog Osječkog 1664 (0:1). Platili smo danak, čini mi se, nastupu na prethodno odigranom Memorijalu Blage Zadre. Igrači su bili fizički iscrpljeni dvjema utakmicama po teškom terenu, nije bilo goriva za nešto više od boda.

Vukovar 1991 gleda u leđa upravo Jurjevčanima (-7) i Šibenčanima (-2).

- Dosta njih govori kako Jurjevčani igraju ružno, da imaju sreće... Ali, tko nama ostalima brani da igramo kao oni? Realno, zasluženo su tu gdje jesu i treba biti potpuno otvoren u reći da rasplet borbe za prvaka ovisi najviše o njima.

Može i u postocima?

- Zrinskom Osječkom 1664 dajem 60 posto šansi za osvajanje naslova, a Šibeniku i nama po 20 posto. Realno, nama će do kraja sezone kiks biti i neriješeno. Nije lako igrati pod takvim pritiskom, ali tu će se pokazati koliko smo snažni. U svakom slučaju, predaja ne dolazi u obzir - zaključuje Božić.

Vukovarska momčad uvodni dio pripremnog ciklusa odradit će kod kuće, od 24. siječnja do 3. veljače boravit će u Makarskoj, pa slijedi glancanje forme za “proljetnu” premijeru na kojoj 17. veljače u Borovo naselje stižu Zmijavčani.

Inače, definirana su i dva pojačanja; dogovoren je povratak bivšeg kapetana Marija Tadića iz Zrinskog, a iz Lokomotive stiže 20-godišnji Kristijan Čabrajić, lijevi bočni, po potrebi i vezni.

Ivan Božić iza sebe je ostavio dinamičnu godinu u kojoj je promijenio tri kormila; Hrvatski dragovoljac, Dubrava TK, pa Vukovar 1991. Za početak malo o sigetskoj priči...

- Uzeo sam nešto čega bi se malo tko prihvatio. Doslovno smo spašavali klub kojemu je prijetilo gašenje. Uspjeli smo se skrpati i izvući sezonu do kraja, pritom se nismo osramotili. Prvaku Rudešu uzeli smo bod, dvaput remizirali s Dubravom, remizirali i u Zmijavcima, dobili Jarun, pa i Dugopolje u gostima... Uglavnom, osvojili smo više bodova nego u prvom dijelu sezone, s tim da smo proljetni nastavak odigrali bez priprema. Iako smo ispali iz lige, dionicu u HD-u ne smatram neuspjehom - napominje Božić, koji je ljetos promijenio sredinu, ali je ostao pod sigetskim neboderima gdje je Dubrava igrala domaće utakmice.

- Vodio sam Dubravu deset kola, ostavio sam je na 6. mjestu. Vani smo bili zapaženiji, premda zapravo nismo ni imali domaći teren u pravom smislu. Zgodna epizoda, korektna suradnja, svakako korak naprijed za mene.

A onda - novi iskorak. U listopadu, nakon neočekivane smjene Miroslava Bojka, na zaslonu Božićeva mobitela zabljeskao je poziv iz Vukovara...

- Zahvaljujem još jednom klupskim čelnicima na povjerenju. Nisam se uplašio tog izazova jer sam poznavao tu momčad od ranije, a budući da vjerujem u svoj rad znao sam da u takvim okolnostima teško može doći do greške.

Ipak, nije krenulo dobro... - Remizirali smo kod kuće sa Šibenikom (1:1), premda nisam vodio tu utakmicu, pa onda izgubili u gostima od Zrinskog Osječkog 1664 (0:1). Platili smo danak, čini mi se, nastupu na prethodno odigranom Memorijalu Blage Zadre. Igrači su bili fizički iscrpljeni dvjema utakmicama po teškom terenu, nije bilo goriva za nešto više od boda.

- Dosta njih govori kako Jurjevčani igraju ružno, da imaju sreće... Ali, tko nama ostalima brani da igramo kao oni? Realno, zasluženo su tu gdje jesu i treba biti potpuno otvoren u reći da rasplet borbe za prvaka ovisi najviše o njima.

Može i u postocima?

- Zrinskom Osječkom 1664 dajem 60 posto šansi za osvajanje naslova, a Šibeniku i nama po 20 posto. Realno, nama će do kraja sezone kiks biti i neriješeno. Nije lako igrati pod takvim pritiskom, ali tu će se pokazati koliko smo snažni. U svakom slučaju, predaja ne dolazi u obzir - zaključuje Božić.

Vukovarska momčad uvodni dio pripremnog ciklusa odradit će kod kuće, od 24. siječnja do 3. veljače boravit će u Makarskoj, pa slijedi glancanje forme za “proljetnu” premijeru na kojoj 17. veljače u Borovo naselje stižu Zmijavčani.

Inače, definirana su i dva pojačanja; dogovoren je povratak bivšeg kapetana Marija Tadića iz Zrinskog, a iz Lokomotive stiže 20-godišnji Kristijan Čabrajić, lijevi bočni, po potrebi i vezni.

Bivši nogometaš Šibenika bori se protiv ‘svog‘ kluba za ulazak u 1.HNL: ‘Narančastima dajem 20 posto‘

Ivan Božić iza sebe je ostavio dinamičnu godinu u kojoj je promijenio tri kormila; Hrvatski dragovoljac, Dubrava TK, pa Vukovar 1991. Za početak malo o sigetskoj priči...

- Uzeo sam nešto čega bi se malo tko prihvatio. Doslovno smo spašavali klub kojemu je prijetilo gašenje. Uspjeli smo se skrpati i izvući sezonu do kraja, pritom se nismo osramotili. Prvaku Rudešu uzeli smo bod, dvaput remizirali s Dubravom, remizirali i u Zmijavcima, dobili Jarun, pa i Dugopolje u gostima... Uglavnom, osvojili smo više bodova nego u prvom dijelu sezone, s tim da smo proljetni nastavak odigrali bez priprema. Iako smo ispali iz lige, dionicu u HD-u ne smatram neuspjehom - napominje Božić, koji je ljetos promijenio sredinu, ali je ostao pod sigetskim neboderima gdje je Dubrava igrala domaće utakmice.

- Vodio sam Dubravu deset kola, ostavio sam je na 6. mjestu. Vani smo bili zapaženiji, premda zapravo nismo ni imali domaći teren u pravom smislu. Zgodna epizoda, korektna suradnja, svakako korak naprijed za mene.

A onda - novi iskorak. U listopadu, nakon neočekivane smjene Miroslava Bojka, na zaslonu Božićeva mobitela zabljeskao je poziv iz Vukovara...

- Zahvaljujem još jednom klupskim čelnicima na povjerenju. Nisam se uplašio tog izazova jer sam poznavao tu momčad od ranije, a budući da vjerujem u svoj rad znao sam da u takvim okolnostima teško može doći do greške.

Ipak, nije krenulo dobro... - Remizirali smo kod kuće sa Šibenikom (1:1), premda nisam vodio tu utakmicu, pa onda izgubili u gostima od Zrinskog Osječkog 1664 (0:1).
