Novinarski je o svemu uvijek za mišljenje pitati obje strane. Današnji izbornik reprezentacije Srbije Svetislav Pešić (73), prije četiri desetljeća u vrijeme odigravanja kontroverzne majstorice Šibenke i Bosne bio je na klupi momčadi iz Sarajeva, mladi stručnjak tek na početku svoje (velike) trenerske karijere. Jednog od najvećih trenera s ovih prostora uhvatili smo u SAD-u.

- Prošlo je već 40 godina, ali sjećam se tih utakmica u Šibeniku, u dvorani malog kapaciteta koji bi bio duplo premašen, pa je tako bilo i u tom finalu i majstorici. Atmosfera je bila domaćinska, navijači su nosili svoj tim. Šibenka je imala kvalitetnu i iskusnu, dobru momčad, mi također, ali većinom su nama igrali mlađi, neiskusniji igrači. S treće pozicije smo došli do play offa i finala, poslije i majstorice i mi smo bili prvaci Jugoslavije – prisjetio se Pešić.

Potom smo, naravno, došli na temu dosuđenog prekršaja Sabita Hadžića na Draženu Petroviću i generalno kontroverzne završnice za koju smatra da u izvještavanju nije dobro javnosti ni objašnjena.

‘Nije stvar faula, utakmica je završila‘

- Zato ste me i zvali. Uvijek me u ovo doba godine svi zovu zbog toga. Sudac Matijević je donio odluku nakon što je utakmica već završena. Onda se vratio i pokazivao je da je Hadžić napravio faul na Draženu. Nije ovdje pitanje je li bio faul ili ne, zbog toga utakmica nije ni poništena, nego je već bilo proteklo vrijeme. Mi smo se žalili i žalba je prihvaćena – kazao nam je Pešić.

Odlučeno je da se ta treća utakmica finala treba ponovno odigrati, ali zbog suspenzije dvorane na Baldekinu u Novom Sadu. Na taj susret nije došla Šibenka.

- Ogroman je bio pritisak. Ni mi nismo baš htjeli igrati ponovno, ali tako je bilo.

Je li Vam žao što je na koncu sve tako završilo, što na terenu nije riješeno pitanje prvaka? Jer budimo otvoreni, da se nije sve tako odvilo, vjerojatno Vas danas, točno 40 godina poslije, ne bismo ni zvali iz Slobodne Dalmacije?

‘Nije nam palo na pamet ne doći u Novi Sad‘

- Dobili smo pravo na terenu odlučivati. Bilo bi sigurno bolje da je odluka bila na terenu. Mi smo na utakmicu došli, ali Šibenka nije. Nama nije padalo na pamet da se ne pojavimo na ponovljenoj utakmici – naglasio nam je Pešić.

Kasnije će Pešić Tonija Kukoča i društvo 1987. godine u Bormiju odvesti do naslova juniorskih prvaka svijeta, Njemačku senzacionalno 1993. do zlata na Eurobasketu, Jugoslaviju preko Amerikanaca s NBA zvijezdama do titule prvaka svijeta 2002., a godinu poslije Barcelonu do prvog naslova prvaka Europe.

Novinarski je o svemu uvijek za mišljenje pitati obje strane. Današnji izbornik reprezentacije Srbije Svetislav Pešić (73), prije četiri desetljeća u vrijeme odigravanja kontroverzne majstorice Šibenke i Bosne bio je na klupi momčadi iz Sarajeva, mladi stručnjak tek na početku svoje (velike) trenerske karijere. Jednog od najvećih trenera s ovih prostora uhvatili smo u SAD-u.

- Prošlo je već 40 godina, ali sjećam se tih utakmica u Šibeniku, u dvorani malog kapaciteta koji bi bio duplo premašen, pa je tako bilo i u tom finalu i majstorici. Atmosfera je bila domaćinska, navijači su nosili svoj tim. Šibenka je imala kvalitetnu i iskusnu, dobru momčad, mi također, ali većinom su nama igrali mlađi, neiskusniji igrači. S treće pozicije smo došli do play offa i finala, poslije i majstorice i mi smo bili prvaci Jugoslavije – prisjetio se Pešić.

Potom smo, naravno, došli na temu dosuđenog prekršaja Sabita Hadžića na Draženu Petroviću i generalno kontroverzne završnice za koju smatra da u izvještavanju nije dobro javnosti ni objašnjena.

‘Nije stvar faula, utakmica je završila‘

- Zato ste me i zvali. Uvijek me u ovo doba godine svi zovu zbog toga. Sudac Matijević je donio odluku nakon što je utakmica već završena. Onda se vratio i pokazivao je da je Hadžić napravio faul na Draženu. Nije ovdje pitanje je li bio faul ili ne, zbog toga utakmica nije ni poništena, nego je već bilo proteklo vrijeme. Mi smo se žalili i žalba je prihvaćena – kazao nam je Pešić.

Odlučeno je da se ta treća utakmica finala treba ponovno odigrati, ali zbog suspenzije dvorane na Baldekinu u Novom Sadu. Na taj susret nije došla Šibenka.

- Ogroman je bio pritisak. Ni mi nismo baš htjeli igrati ponovno, ali tako je bilo.

Je li Vam žao što je na koncu sve tako završilo, što na terenu nije riješeno pitanje prvaka? Jer budimo otvoreni, da se nije sve tako odvilo, vjerojatno Vas danas, točno 40 godina poslije, ne bismo ni zvali iz Slobodne Dalmacije?

‘Nije nam palo na pamet ne doći u Novi Sad‘

- Dobili smo pravo na terenu odlučivati. Bilo bi sigurno bolje da je odluka bila na terenu. Mi smo na utakmicu došli, ali Šibenka nije. Nama nije padalo na pamet da se ne pojavimo na ponovljenoj utakmici – naglasio nam je Pešić.

Kasnije će Pešić Tonija Kukoča i društvo 1987. godine u Bormiju odvesti do naslova juniorskih prvaka svijeta, Njemačku senzacionalno 1993. do zlata na Eurobasketu, Jugoslaviju preko Amerikanaca s NBA zvijezdama do titule prvaka svijeta 2002., a godinu poslije Barcelonu do prvog naslova prvaka Europe.

Četiri desetljeća nakon kontroverzne završnice na Baldekinu trener Bosne Svetislav Pešić tvrdi: ‘Vrijeme je isteklo!‘

Novinarski je o svemu uvijek za mišljenje pitati obje strane. Današnji izbornik reprezentacije Srbije Svetislav Pešić (73), prije četiri desetljeća u vrijeme odigravanja kontroverzne majstorice Šibenke i Bosne bio je na klupi momčadi iz Sarajeva, mladi stručnjak tek na početku svoje (velike) trenerske karijere. Jednog od najvećih trenera s ovih prostora uhvatili smo u SAD-u.

- Prošlo je već 40 godina, ali sjećam se tih utakmica u Šibeniku, u dvorani malog kapaciteta koji bi bio duplo premašen, pa je tako bilo i u tom finalu i majstorici. Atmosfera je bila domaćinska, navijači su nosili svoj tim. Šibenka je imala kvalitetnu i iskusnu, dobru momčad, mi također, ali većinom su nama igrali mlađi, neiskusniji igrači. S treće pozicije smo došli do play offa i finala, poslije i majstorice i mi smo bili prvaci Jugoslavije – prisjetio se Pešić.

Potom smo, naravno, došli na temu dosuđenog prekršaja Sabita Hadžića na Draženu Petroviću i generalno kontroverzne završnice za koju smatra da u izvještavanju nije dobro javnosti ni objašnjena.

‘Nije stvar faula, utakmica je završila‘

- Zato ste me i zvali. Uvijek me u ovo doba godine svi zovu zbog toga. Sudac Matijević je donio odluku nakon što je utakmica već završena. Onda se vratio i pokazivao je da je Hadžić napravio faul na Draženu. Nije ovdje pitanje je li bio faul ili ne, zbog toga utakmica nije ni poništena, nego je već bilo proteklo vrijeme. Mi smo se žalili i žalba je prihvaćena – kazao nam je Pešić.

Odlučeno je da se ta treća utakmica finala treba ponovno odigrati, ali zbog suspenzije dvorane na Baldekinu u Novom Sadu. Na taj susret nije došla Šibenka.

- Ogroman je bio pritisak. Ni mi nismo baš htjeli igrati ponovno, ali tako je bilo.

Je li Vam žao što je na koncu sve tako završilo, što na terenu nije riješeno pitanje prvaka? Jer budimo otvoreni, da se nije sve tako odvilo, vjerojatno Vas danas, točno 40 godina poslije, ne bismo ni zvali iz Slobodne Dalmacije?

‘Nije nam palo na pamet ne doći u Novi Sad‘

- Dobili smo pravo na terenu odlučivati. Bilo bi sigurno bolje da je odluka bila na terenu. Mi smo na utakmicu došli, ali Šibenka nije. Nama nije padalo na pamet da se ne pojavimo na ponovljenoj utakmici – naglasio nam je Pešić.

Kasnije će Pešić Tonija Kukoča i društvo 1987. godine u Bormiju odvesti do naslova juniorskih prvaka svijeta, Njemačku senzacionalno 1993. do zlata na Eurobasketu, Jugoslaviju preko Amerikanaca s NBA zvijezdama do titule prvaka svijeta 2002., a godinu poslije Barcelonu do prvog naslova prvaka Europe.
