Sve se mijenja i mi se u svemu mijenjamo, glasi stara latinska maksima koja je i danas itekako aktualna. Način života, ljudske navike.
Ono što najčešće, gotovo na svakome koraku, danas zamjećujemo jest ona tako naglašena povučenost ljudi zaokupljenih cijelim spektrom životnih problema, svake lokalne sredine do onih "globalnih". Prostora za drukčije ponašanje sve je manje.
Dobro se to dade usporediti makar i s nekim životnim detaljima osobnog i društvenog života od prije pedesetak godina, o čemu zorno govore i ove naše dvije fotografije.
Na prvoj vidimo jedan markantan lik žene koja ulijeva vodu s prve šibenske javne česme usred stare gradske jezgre na Maloj loži, danas Trgu Ivana Pavla II., jer treba zaliti cvijeće.

To je šibenska uzgajivačica i prodavačica povrća i cvijeća, legendarna teta Matija Bašić, kako smo je zvali. Uvijek svima u svakoj prigodi na usluzi, u razgovoru i druženju sa znanima i neznanima koji joj prilaze i kupuju "kitu cvića".
Mjesto za okupljanje
Ako nečega nije imala na banku, skočila bi u obližnju kući i donijela. A onima koji pri sebi ne bi imali novca, odgovorila bi: "Ajde, lako ćemo, drugi put…"
Danas je Mala loža uz crkvu svetog Ivana pusta. Nema ni tete Matije.
I onda oni iz "treće dobi" kako to danas kažemo. Nije bilo kafića i drugih svratišta za sate njihove dokolice i predaha od kojeg kućnog posla, a ipak su nalazili mjesta za svoja okupljanja u parkovima grada kod crkve Gospe van grada ili uz Poljanu, ili makar na pragu neke trgovačke radnje, tadašnje Činovničke zadruge, dućana, kako to kazuje i naša slika.
Malo pognuti, njih petero sa štapovima u rukama dokono pretresaju male životne događaje što ih okružuju. Onaj najkrupniji, u šibenskoj kapi, ujedno je bio i čuvar u perivoju, sa šibom u ruci (tek tako da se zna čemu tanka šiba služi) pazio je da nestašna djeca u fontanu s ribama na bacaju kamenje ili čine kakve druge dječje nepodopštine.
A i mjesto na kojem ovi "penzići" sjede zanimljivo je po tome što se u izlogu vidi poveći natpis "Konzum". Ne, nije to današnji veliki trgovački lanac, već naziv nečega, što je, tko zna, puno kasnije iskorišteno za naziv firme.
Sve su to životne mijene iz nekadašnjega doba, posve različitog od današnjega zahuktalog životnog ritma.

Sve se mijenja i mi se u svemu mijenjamo, glasi stara latinska maksima koja je i danas itekako aktualna. Način života, ljudske navike.
Ono što najčešće, gotovo na svakome koraku, danas zamjećujemo jest ona tako naglašena povučenost ljudi zaokupljenih cijelim spektrom životnih problema, svake lokalne sredine do onih "globalnih". Prostora za drukčije ponašanje sve je manje.
Dobro se to dade usporediti makar i s nekim životnim detaljima osobnog i društvenog života od prije pedesetak godina, o čemu zorno govore i ove naše dvije fotografije.
Na prvoj vidimo jedan markantan lik žene koja ulijeva vodu s prve šibenske javne česme usred stare gradske jezgre na Maloj loži, danas Trgu Ivana Pavla II., jer treba zaliti cvijeće.

To je šibenska uzgajivačica i prodavačica povrća i cvijeća, legendarna teta Matija Bašić, kako smo je zvali. Uvijek svima u svakoj prigodi na usluzi, u razgovoru i druženju sa znanima i neznanima koji joj prilaze i kupuju "kitu cvića".
Mjesto za okupljanje
Ako nečega nije imala na banku, skočila bi u obližnju kući i donijela. A onima koji pri sebi ne bi imali novca, odgovorila bi: "Ajde, lako ćemo, drugi put…"
Danas je Mala loža uz crkvu svetog Ivana pusta. Nema ni tete Matije.
I onda oni iz "treće dobi" kako to danas kažemo. Nije bilo kafića i drugih svratišta za sate njihove dokolice i predaha od kojeg kućnog posla, a ipak su nalazili mjesta za svoja okupljanja u parkovima grada kod crkve Gospe van grada ili uz Poljanu, ili makar na pragu neke trgovačke radnje, tadašnje Činovničke zadruge, dućana, kako to kazuje i naša slika.
Malo pognuti, njih petero sa štapovima u rukama dokono pretresaju male životne događaje što ih okružuju. Onaj najkrupniji, u šibenskoj kapi, ujedno je bio i čuvar u perivoju, sa šibom u ruci (tek tako da se zna čemu tanka šiba služi) pazio je da nestašna djeca u fontanu s ribama na bacaju kamenje ili čine kakve druge dječje nepodopštine.
A i mjesto na kojem ovi "penzići" sjede zanimljivo je po tome što se u izlogu vidi poveći natpis "Konzum". Ne, nije to današnji veliki trgovački lanac, već naziv nečega, što je, tko zna, puno kasnije iskorišteno za naziv firme.
Sve su to životne mijene iz nekadašnjega doba, posve različitog od današnjega zahuktalog životnog ritma.
