Veneciji iz vremena prije pandemije koronavirusa ne nedostaju jedino kruzeri - jedna od vodećih svjetskih turističkih destinacija otvorena je za ideje kako se riješiti gigantskih brodova i njegovih putnika i ostaviti ih na vezu izvan lagune.
Nakon što je onemogućeno putovanje brodovima za krstarenje prije više od godinu dana, Venecija je imala vremena razmisliti jesu li divovski brodovi i njihovi putnici nešto što uopće želi.
Sada je grad pokrenuo "natječaj za ideje" i traži prijedloge i projekte koji se odnose na izgradnju mjesta na kojima bi brodovi za krstarenje i brodski kontejneri mogli pristajati izvan lagune, navodi se u pozivu za natječaj.
Ideje se mogu predstaviti do 31. prosinca, a nakon toga će stručni žiri od petero ljudi izabrati najbolje tri. Pobjednik će biti izabran do 30. lipnja 2023. i na raspolaganju će imati 2,2 milijuna eura od ministarstva infrastrukture.
Cilj natječaja je ublažiti posljedice krstarenja na području Venecije i njezine lagune te osigurati jedinstvenost i izvrsnost kulturne, krajobrazne i okolišne baštine njenog teritorija, navode gradske vlasti.
Talijanska vlada već je uredbom objavljenom u travnju pozvala javnost da iznese prijedloge gdje bi veliki brodovi mogli pristati izvan lagune, ali konkretni planovi nisu još predstavljeni.
Aktivisti navode da Venecija nema nikakve koristi od velikih kruzera koji pristaju u ovoj popularnoj turističkoj destinaciji.
Osim što zagađuju okoliš, posjetitelji koji se iskrcavaju s brodova samo doprinose prenapučenosti povijesnog starog grada lagune, a rijetko ondje troše novac, dodaju aktivisti.
Stručnjaci UNESCO-a nedavno su predložili da se Venecija uvrsti na popis ugroženih područja Svjetske baštine baš zbog velikih plovila. Organizacija bi odluku o tome trebala donijeti sredinom srpnja.
Prvi kruzer koji je pristao u Veneciji od početka pandemije napustio ju je početkom lipnja zbog glasnih prosvjeda.

Veneciji iz vremena prije pandemije koronavirusa ne nedostaju jedino kruzeri - jedna od vodećih svjetskih turističkih destinacija otvorena je za ideje kako se riješiti gigantskih brodova i njegovih putnika i ostaviti ih na vezu izvan lagune.
Nakon što je onemogućeno putovanje brodovima za krstarenje prije više od godinu dana, Venecija je imala vremena razmisliti jesu li divovski brodovi i njihovi putnici nešto što uopće želi.
Sada je grad pokrenuo "natječaj za ideje" i traži prijedloge i projekte koji se odnose na izgradnju mjesta na kojima bi brodovi za krstarenje i brodski kontejneri mogli pristajati izvan lagune, navodi se u pozivu za natječaj.
Ideje se mogu predstaviti do 31. prosinca, a nakon toga će stručni žiri od petero ljudi izabrati najbolje tri. Pobjednik će biti izabran do 30. lipnja 2023. i na raspolaganju će imati 2,2 milijuna eura od ministarstva infrastrukture.
Cilj natječaja je ublažiti posljedice krstarenja na području Venecije i njezine lagune te osigurati jedinstvenost i izvrsnost kulturne, krajobrazne i okolišne baštine njenog teritorija, navode gradske vlasti.
Talijanska vlada već je uredbom objavljenom u travnju pozvala javnost da iznese prijedloge gdje bi veliki brodovi mogli pristati izvan lagune, ali konkretni planovi nisu još predstavljeni.
Aktivisti navode da Venecija nema nikakve koristi od velikih kruzera koji pristaju u ovoj popularnoj turističkoj destinaciji.
Osim što zagađuju okoliš, posjetitelji koji se iskrcavaju s brodova samo doprinose prenapučenosti povijesnog starog grada lagune, a rijetko ondje troše novac, dodaju aktivisti.
Stručnjaci UNESCO-a nedavno su predložili da se Venecija uvrsti na popis ugroženih područja Svjetske baštine baš zbog velikih plovila. Organizacija bi odluku o tome trebala donijeti sredinom srpnja.
Prvi kruzer koji je pristao u Veneciji od početka pandemije napustio ju je početkom lipnja zbog glasnih prosvjeda.
