Najmanje je 26 ljudi poginulo u sudaru prepunog motornog čamca i teretnog plovila u rijeci u središnjem dijelu Bangladeša, rekli su dužnosnici u ponedjeljak.

Spasioci su pronašli tijela troje djece, žene i 22 muškarca nakon što se motorni čamac s više od 30 putnika zabio u teretni brod  i prevrnuo, rekao je lokalni vladin dužnosnik Mohamad Asaduzaman.

Incident se dogodio ujutro blizu riječne luke Katalbari u okrugu Madaripuriju, 50 kilometara južno od glavnoga grada Dake.

Mještani su spasili petero ljudi ubrzo nakon što je čamac potonuo i prevezli ih u bolnicu, rekao je Asaduzaman.

Ašikur Rahman, dežurni policajac u riječnoj luci, rekao je da je motorni čamac prevozio putnike preko rijeke u nedostatku redovitih usluga prijevoza, koje su ukinute zbog zatvaranja širom zemlje nametnutog prošli mjesec kako bi se usporilo širenje koronavirusa. Pokrenuta je istraga, izvješće se očekuje za tri dana.

Trajektne nesreće u kojima pogibaju ljudi česte su u Bangladešu, zemlji s mnogo rijeka. Stručnjaci za to krive loše sigurnosne mjere i slabu provedbu propisa.

Podsjetimo, prošlog mjeseca je u središnjem Bangladešu u sudaru teretnog broda i malog trajekta poginulo 27 ljudi.

Najmanje je 26 ljudi poginulo u sudaru prepunog motornog čamca i teretnog plovila u rijeci u središnjem dijelu Bangladeša, rekli su dužnosnici u ponedjeljak.

Spasioci su pronašli tijela troje djece, žene i 22 muškarca nakon što se motorni čamac s više od 30 putnika zabio u teretni brod  i prevrnuo, rekao je lokalni vladin dužnosnik Mohamad Asaduzaman.

Incident se dogodio ujutro blizu riječne luke Katalbari u okrugu Madaripuriju, 50 kilometara južno od glavnoga grada Dake.

Mještani su spasili petero ljudi ubrzo nakon što je čamac potonuo i prevezli ih u bolnicu, rekao je Asaduzaman.

Ašikur Rahman, dežurni policajac u riječnoj luci, rekao je da je motorni čamac prevozio putnike preko rijeke u nedostatku redovitih usluga prijevoza, koje su ukinute zbog zatvaranja širom zemlje nametnutog prošli mjesec kako bi se usporilo širenje koronavirusa. Pokrenuta je istraga, izvješće se očekuje za tri dana.

Trajektne nesreće u kojima pogibaju ljudi česte su u Bangladešu, zemlji s mnogo rijeka. Stručnjaci za to krive loše sigurnosne mjere i slabu provedbu propisa.

Podsjetimo, prošlog mjeseca je u središnjem Bangladešu u sudaru teretnog broda i malog trajekta poginulo 27 ljudi.

Najmanje je 26 ljudi poginulo u sudaru prepunog motornog čamca i teretnog plovila u rijeci u središnjem dijelu Bangladeša, rekli su dužnosnici u ponedjeljak.

Spasioci su pronašli tijela troje djece, žene i 22 muškarca nakon što se motorni čamac s više od 30 putnika zabio u teretni brod  i prevrnuo, rekao je lokalni vladin dužnosnik Mohamad Asaduzaman.

Incident se dogodio ujutro blizu riječne luke Katalbari u okrugu Madaripuriju, 50 kilometara južno od glavnoga grada Dake.

Mještani su spasili petero ljudi ubrzo nakon što je čamac potonuo i prevezli ih u bolnicu, rekao je Asaduzaman.

Ašikur Rahman, dežurni policajac u riječnoj luci, rekao je da je motorni čamac prevozio putnike preko rijeke u nedostatku redovitih usluga prijevoza, koje su ukinute zbog zatvaranja širom zemlje nametnutog prošli mjesec kako bi se usporilo širenje koronavirusa. Pokrenuta je istraga, izvješće se očekuje za tri dana.

Trajektne nesreće u kojima pogibaju ljudi česte su u Bangladešu, zemlji s mnogo rijeka. Stručnjaci za to krive loše sigurnosne mjere i slabu provedbu propisa.

Podsjetimo, prošlog mjeseca je u središnjem Bangladešu u sudaru teretnog broda i malog trajekta poginulo 27 ljudi.
