Danski logistički div Maersk najavio je da će njegovi kontejnerski brodovi ubuduće ploviti sporije kako bi štedili skupo gorivo, naznačivši promjenu pandemijske politike brzih isporuka.
Maersk očekuje stabilan ili čak smanjeni obujam tereta u prekooceanskom prijevozu u ovoj godini zbog smanjene osobne potrošnje u SAD-u i narušenog raspoloženja zbog ruske invazije na Ukrajinu, izjavio je za Reuters Newsmaker u četvrtak izvršni direktor Soren Skou.
U pandemiji danski je logistički div profitirao zahvaljujući snažnom rastu vozarina koji je potaknuo oporavak potražnje tijekom pandemije, izazvavši gužve u lukama.
Vozarine su u ovoj godini počele padati, iako su luke i dalje zakrčene, a globalni opskrbni lanci opterećeni, rekao je Skou.
"U nekim regijama, posebno u Europi, i dalje vidimo brodove koji čekaju pred lukama, nestašicu radne snage i štrajkove. Dakle, stanje se još nije normaliziralo, ali očigledno ide nabolje", rekao je Skou.
Kompanija ima flotu od oko 730 kontejnerskih brodova, bavi se otpremom i logistikom za trgovce na malo i kompanije poput Walmarta, Nikea i Unilevera.
"Naši brodovi daju sve od sebe kako bi što više nadoknadili kašnjenja", naglasio je šef Maerska.
"No, kako se stvari budu normalizirale, trebali bismo očekivati da će brodovi usporiti i ponovo početi ploviti normalnom brzinom. To je doista važno za našu učinkovitost u potrošnji goriva", rekao je Skou, kometirajući rast troškova goriva.
Ove godine očekuje "skromno" povećanje trgovine u predstojećoj blagdanskoj sezoni zbog zabrinutosti koju je izazvalo posustajanje globalnog gospodarstva i potražnje, unatoč manjem obujmu pošiljki na pragu božićne sezone nego u normalnim godinama.

Danski logistički div Maersk najavio je da će njegovi kontejnerski brodovi ubuduće ploviti sporije kako bi štedili skupo gorivo, naznačivši promjenu pandemijske politike brzih isporuka.
Maersk očekuje stabilan ili čak smanjeni obujam tereta u prekooceanskom prijevozu u ovoj godini zbog smanjene osobne potrošnje u SAD-u i narušenog raspoloženja zbog ruske invazije na Ukrajinu, izjavio je za Reuters Newsmaker u četvrtak izvršni direktor Soren Skou.
U pandemiji danski je logistički div profitirao zahvaljujući snažnom rastu vozarina koji je potaknuo oporavak potražnje tijekom pandemije, izazvavši gužve u lukama.
Vozarine su u ovoj godini počele padati, iako su luke i dalje zakrčene, a globalni opskrbni lanci opterećeni, rekao je Skou.
"U nekim regijama, posebno u Europi, i dalje vidimo brodove koji čekaju pred lukama, nestašicu radne snage i štrajkove. Dakle, stanje se još nije normaliziralo, ali očigledno ide nabolje", rekao je Skou.
Kompanija ima flotu od oko 730 kontejnerskih brodova, bavi se otpremom i logistikom za trgovce na malo i kompanije poput Walmarta, Nikea i Unilevera.
"Naši brodovi daju sve od sebe kako bi što više nadoknadili kašnjenja", naglasio je šef Maerska.
"No, kako se stvari budu normalizirale, trebali bismo očekivati da će brodovi usporiti i ponovo početi ploviti normalnom brzinom. To je doista važno za našu učinkovitost u potrošnji goriva", rekao je Skou, kometirajući rast troškova goriva.
Ove godine očekuje "skromno" povećanje trgovine u predstojećoj blagdanskoj sezoni zbog zabrinutosti koju je izazvalo posustajanje globalnog gospodarstva i potražnje, unatoč manjem obujmu pošiljki na pragu božićne sezone nego u normalnim godinama.
