Bliži se četvrtak, 7. dan u ožujku, datum kad prema predaji puhne prva od tri mitske marčane bure koje su od davnina ‘tempirane‘ i na 17., odnosno 27. ožujka, kao svojevrstan oproštaj od zime. Kratkoročne prognoze na ovaj četvrtak doista najavljuju pad temperature, no hoće li se ona sniziti zbog tradicionalno neugodnog vjetra sa sjeveroistoka ili se radi tek o slučajnom kratkotrajnom zahlađenju?

Prof. dr. Branko Grisogono, atmosferski fizičar sa zagrebačkog Prirodoslovno-matematičkog fakulteta podsjeća kako je klimatološki, odnosno statistički, uobičajeno očekivati da zima završava, barem na širem području Jadrana, s tri marčane bure u ožujku.

- To pokazuje i tradicija i prilično se dobro to slaže s dugogodišnjom klimatologijom. Kad prođe ta treća bura, negdje u zadnjoj trećini ili sasvim na kraju mjeseca, onda je uglavnom gotovo s jačim burama, kasnije mogu doći one drugačije bure, proljetne, kraće i nježnije. Međutim, mi tu klimatologiju i statistiku od ranije možemo objesiti o klin. Lani su te tri marčanske bure izostale, a u budućnosti će se ti ‘preskoci‘ događati i češće jer se klima mijenja. Mijenjaju se proljeće i zima, ljeto. I mi ćemo se morati prilagoditi tim promjenama – ističe znanstvenik, a o predstojećoj buri sredinom tjedna kaže:

- To će biti jedna mekana marčana bura. Ništa spektakularno, može trajati 6 do 12 sati, za razliku od prije, kad bi puhale po dva ili tri dana. A prave prognoze bure ne mogu se dati ne dulje od dva ili tri dana unaprijed. Donekle možemo pogoditi njihov intenzitet ali točan početak, trajanje i završetak bure još uvijek nije dovoljno dobro prognozirano ni moderirano. To je zbog toga što numerički prognostički meteorološki modeli nemaju dovoljno dobar opis turbulencije, miješanja u zraku, niti dovoljno dobru računsku mrežu da vide sve bitne točke u terenu. Pogotovo oko Zračne luke Dubrovnik i još na nekoliko mjesta fale ti vrhovi, a ni uz Rijeku dubrovačku oko mosta nema dovoljno računskih točaka. O burama danas dobro znaju samo stari barbe, ribari i moreplovci. Oni ih mogu bolje prognozirati jer su to naučili iskustveno, dok prognostičari meteorolozi moraju pokriti šire područje Hrvatske, pa i veliki dio Europe za bolju prognozu. Znači, statistički se bure mogu očekivati, ali što idete dalje u vremenu, slika je mutnija i nejasnija – objasnio nam je prof. dr. Grisogono.

Jedan od onih koji su iskustveno na moru itekako upoznali marčane bure je i dubrovački umirovljeni znanstvenik dr. Vlado Onofri. Ovaj je dugogodišnji zaposlenik Instituta za oceanografiju i ribarstvo više puta već upozorio na klimatske promjene kojima danas svjedočimo:

- Klima nam postaje suptropska, a tropi će izgorjeti. A ova naša suptropska klima sa sobom nosi nevremena poput tajfuna koji se već dogodio na Mediteranu, dole u Grčkoj. Marčane bure su ostale klasika koju očekujemo, a hoćemo li ih i dočekati, tko to zna? Svakako, ja mislim da od kraja veljače kad produlji dan, više nema zime. Možda kakva sitnica, ali teško. Može zahladiti kod nas i u kolovozu, u Korčuli vazda spominju Gospu od sniga koja se baš tad slavi. Bila je neka ciklona, donijela snijeg, a Pupnat su nazvali korčulanske Alpe. U šali će Korčulanin i danas reći Madonna de la frižider – prisjeća se Onofri vremenskih anomalija. Na upit hoće li vrijeme pokazati svoje i 7., 17. i 27. ožujka dodaje:

- Na ove datume, plus minus dva dana bi se bure mogle dogoditi. Sigurno će nas trefit i ove godine barem jedna bura, ona je gradijent temperature. Ohladi zrak, more je relativno toplo i onda ide temperaturna razlika, s kopna na more – kaže sugovornik koji je odavno uočio i da listopad danas postaje rujan sa svojim babljim ljetom ii Indian summer kako ga zovu stranci. Na kraju poručuje kako se posljedica marčane bure ne treba bojati:

- Danas nam meteorolozi svuda postavljaju alarme, žute, narančaste, crvene. Malo je to postalo medijski prenapadno, toliko da je mnogim ljudima smiješno. I prije je bilo nevera, juga i bure pa smo preživjeli i bez alarma. I za ovaj ponedjeljak su u nas na jugu najavili delumbije, ali ih, evo još nema – kroz smijeh nam govori dr. Onofri.

Bliži se četvrtak, 7. dan u ožujku, datum kad prema predaji puhne prva od tri mitske marčane bure koje su od davnina ‘tempirane‘ i na 17., odnosno 27. ožujka, kao svojevrstan oproštaj od zime. Kratkoročne prognoze na ovaj četvrtak doista najavljuju pad temperature, no hoće li se ona sniziti zbog tradicionalno neugodnog vjetra sa sjeveroistoka ili se radi tek o slučajnom kratkotrajnom zahlađenju?

Prof. dr. Branko Grisogono, atmosferski fizičar sa zagrebačkog Prirodoslovno-matematičkog fakulteta podsjeća kako je klimatološki, odnosno statistički, uobičajeno očekivati da zima završava, barem na širem području Jadrana, s tri marčane bure u ožujku.

- To pokazuje i tradicija i prilično se dobro to slaže s dugogodišnjom klimatologijom. Kad prođe ta treća bura, negdje u zadnjoj trećini ili sasvim na kraju mjeseca, onda je uglavnom gotovo s jačim burama, kasnije mogu doći one drugačije bure, proljetne, kraće i nježnije. Međutim, mi tu klimatologiju i statistiku od ranije možemo objesiti o klin. Lani su te tri marčanske bure izostale, a u budućnosti će se ti ‘preskoci‘ događati i češće jer se klima mijenja. Mijenjaju se proljeće i zima, ljeto. I mi ćemo se morati prilagoditi tim promjenama – ističe znanstvenik, a o predstojećoj buri sredinom tjedna kaže:

- To će biti jedna mekana marčana bura. Ništa spektakularno, može trajati 6 do 12 sati, za razliku od prije, kad bi puhale po dva ili tri dana. A prave prognoze bure ne mogu se dati ne dulje od dva ili tri dana unaprijed. Donekle možemo pogoditi njihov intenzitet ali točan početak, trajanje i završetak bure još uvijek nije dovoljno dobro prognozirano ni moderirano. To je zbog toga što numerički prognostički meteorološki modeli nemaju dovoljno dobar opis turbulencije, miješanja u zraku, niti dovoljno dobru računsku mrežu da vide sve bitne točke u terenu. Pogotovo oko Zračne luke Dubrovnik i još na nekoliko mjesta fale ti vrhovi, a ni uz Rijeku dubrovačku oko mosta nema dovoljno računskih točaka. O burama danas dobro znaju samo stari barbe, ribari i moreplovci. Oni ih mogu bolje prognozirati jer su to naučili iskustveno, dok prognostičari meteorolozi moraju pokriti šire područje Hrvatske, pa i veliki dio Europe za bolju prognozu. Znači, statistički se bure mogu očekivati, ali što idete dalje u vremenu, slika je mutnija i nejasnija – objasnio nam je prof. dr. Grisogono.

Jedan od onih koji su iskustveno na moru itekako upoznali marčane bure je i dubrovački umirovljeni znanstvenik dr. Vlado Onofri. Ovaj je dugogodišnji zaposlenik Instituta za oceanografiju i ribarstvo više puta već upozorio na klimatske promjene kojima danas svjedočimo:

- Klima nam postaje suptropska, a tropi će izgorjeti. A ova naša suptropska klima sa sobom nosi nevremena poput tajfuna koji se već dogodio na Mediteranu, dole u Grčkoj. Marčane bure su ostale klasika koju očekujemo, a hoćemo li ih i dočekati, tko to zna? Svakako, ja mislim da od kraja veljače kad produlji dan, više nema zime. Možda kakva sitnica, ali teško. Može zahladiti kod nas i u kolovozu, u Korčuli vazda spominju Gospu od sniga koja se baš tad slavi. Bila je neka ciklona, donijela snijeg, a Pupnat su nazvali korčulanske Alpe. U šali će Korčulanin i danas reći Madonna de la frižider – prisjeća se Onofri vremenskih anomalija. Na upit hoće li vrijeme pokazati svoje i 7., 17. i 27. ožujka dodaje:

- Na ove datume, plus minus dva dana bi se bure mogle dogoditi. Sigurno će nas trefit i ove godine barem jedna bura, ona je gradijent temperature. Ohladi zrak, more je relativno toplo i onda ide temperaturna razlika, s kopna na more – kaže sugovornik koji je odavno uočio i da listopad danas postaje rujan sa svojim babljim ljetom ii Indian summer kako ga zovu stranci. Na kraju poručuje kako se posljedica marčane bure ne treba bojati:

- Danas nam meteorolozi svuda postavljaju alarme, žute, narančaste, crvene. Malo je to postalo medijski prenapadno, toliko da je mnogim ljudima smiješno. I prije je bilo nevera, juga i bure pa smo preživjeli i bez alarma. I za ovaj ponedjeljak su u nas na jugu najavili delumbije, ali ih, evo još nema – kroz smijeh nam govori dr. Onofri.
