Kuter Hrvatske ratne mornarice pobjednik regate Rota Cicibela, javlja komiška gradonačelnica Tonka Ivčević na svojoj Facebook stranici.

Rota Palagruzona, festival mora započeo je u četvrtak radionicama Barakama Palagruzonama u Jurkovicu, te školom veslanja gundulom i jedrenja sandulom.

Na Biševu je profesor Joško Božanić održao predavanje "Plovidba kroz milenij komiškog ribarstva" uz recital Siniše Brajčića, a onda je krenula Rota Cicibela iz Mezoporta do Komiže.

Ovog petka ujutro starta čuvena Rota Palagruzona, regata koja oživljuje drevnu tradiciju komiških ribara koji su stoljećima organizirali regate od Komiže do pučinskog otoka Palagruže. U regatama je u prošlim stoljećima, plovilo i po stotinjak gajeta falkuša kako bi se ti ribari mogli oduprjeti napadima gusara. Zbog tako velikog broja brodova razvila se žestoka konkurencija među posadama za osvajanje minimalnog prostora na nepristupačnim obalama Palagruže.

Predvečer za sve mornare i sudionike bit će priređena papina večera na žalu.

"Dana 9. ožujka 1177. na žalu Palagruže komiški su ribari dočekali papu Aleksandra III. Koji je svojom flotom krenuo na put u Veneciju, ali je zbog nevremena morao pristati uz obalu Palagruže. Sljedećeg dana komiške su falkuše predvodile papine galije na putu prema Komiži gdje je Papa posvetio Crkvu svetoga Nikole. Također, u znak zahvalnosti ribarima koji su mu pomogli, dao je oprost grijeha svim ribarima koji crkvenim blagdanom love ribu.

Prema zapisu papina biografa Bosona, ribari su na Palagruži priredili Papi večeru. Evocirajući taj događaj iz 12. stoljeća, svake se godine priređuje "Papina večera" na žalu Palagruže koju pripremaju posade brodova koji sudjeluju u regat", zapisao je prof.dr. Joško Božanić.

U subotu se pak očekuje povratak brodova u Komižu gdje će se nastaviti bogat program koji oživljava ovu lijepu tradiciju.

Kuter Hrvatske ratne mornarice pobjednik regate Rota Cicibela, javlja komiška gradonačelnica Tonka Ivčević na svojoj Facebook stranici.

Rota Palagruzona, festival mora započeo je u četvrtak radionicama Barakama Palagruzonama u Jurkovicu, te školom veslanja gundulom i jedrenja sandulom.

Na Biševu je profesor Joško Božanić održao predavanje "Plovidba kroz milenij komiškog ribarstva" uz recital Siniše Brajčića, a onda je krenula Rota Cicibela iz Mezoporta do Komiže.

Ovog petka ujutro starta čuvena Rota Palagruzona, regata koja oživljuje drevnu tradiciju komiških ribara koji su stoljećima organizirali regate od Komiže do pučinskog otoka Palagruže. U regatama je u prošlim stoljećima, plovilo i po stotinjak gajeta falkuša kako bi se ti ribari mogli oduprjeti napadima gusara. Zbog tako velikog broja brodova razvila se žestoka konkurencija među posadama za osvajanje minimalnog prostora na nepristupačnim obalama Palagruže.

Predvečer za sve mornare i sudionike bit će priređena papina večera na žalu.

"Dana 9. ožujka 1177. na žalu Palagruže komiški su ribari dočekali papu Aleksandra III. Koji je svojom flotom krenuo na put u Veneciju, ali je zbog nevremena morao pristati uz obalu Palagruže. Sljedećeg dana komiške su falkuše predvodile papine galije na putu prema Komiži gdje je Papa posvetio Crkvu svetoga Nikole. Također, u znak zahvalnosti ribarima koji su mu pomogli, dao je oprost grijeha svim ribarima koji crkvenim blagdanom love ribu.

Prema zapisu papina biografa Bosona, ribari su na Palagruži priredili Papi večeru. Evocirajući taj događaj iz 12. stoljeća, svake se godine priređuje "Papina večera" na žalu Palagruže koju pripremaju posade brodova koji sudjeluju u regat", zapisao je prof.dr. Joško Božanić.

U subotu se pak očekuje povratak brodova u Komižu gdje će se nastaviti bogat program koji oživljava ovu lijepu tradiciju.
