Šesnaesti po redu BIG OM na kvarnersku je pučinu donio nikada veći šušur. Čak 34 posade sa 130 sudionika iz Hrvatske, Slovenije, Srbije i BiH u pratnji sudačkih brodova tri su dana igrali uzbudljivu utakmicu s kvarnerskom velikom ribom.

Međunarodnim kupom u lovu na veliku ribu dominirale su slovenske posade koje su u ukupnom poretku zauzele prva tri mjesta.

Prvo mjesto pripalo je posadi Team Strike na čelu s Blažom Zupančićem i u sastavu Gorazd Sklepic, Aleš Zupančić i Istok Hočevar. Oni su na brod izvadili dvije tune koje su im donijele 810,81 bodova.

Posada je ujedno dobitnik i nagrade za fair play radi ulova kojega će ako nešto ne promijenimo biti češće nego tuna. Naime, usred lova na udicu im se zakačila uredska sjedalica. Ekološki osviješteni ribolovci ulov su adekvatno zbrinuli i poslali snažnu poruku o važnosti očuvanja okoliša. Zanimljivo je da je pobjedničkoj ekipi ovo bio prvi zajednički nastup na natjecanju. 

- Prijašnjih godina dolazio sam u Omišalj kao član Barracude. Prije nekog vremena sam se odlučio osnovati svoju ekipu u kojoj su moj brat, najbolji prijatelj i car od čovjeka. Ova pobjeda nam je velika motivacija za sljedeća natjecanja. Dvije tune ukazuju na znanje i vještinu, a ne samo početničku sreću - u dobrom raspoloženju rekao je kapetan nove perspektivne big game fishing posade kojoj kao svojim predstavnicima želimo puno sreće i uspjeha u Kostarici.

Drugo mjesto pripalo je prošlogodišnjim pobjednicima ekipi Ohana u sastavu kapetan Aleš Benda te članova posade Eldar Kavazović, Dušan Bajić, Dušan Petrovič i Zoran Ivančević. Ulovivši tunu tešku 70,45 kilograma osvojili su 733,15 bodova, ali i nagradu za najveću ribu turnira.

Treće mjesto osvojila je ekipa BGFC Mass na čelu s kapetanom Sašom Apostolovskim i članovima. Oni su trećeg dana unatoč teškim vremenskim uvjetima ulovili tunu od 53,77 kilograma i osvojili 616,39 bodova.

Četvrto mjesto zauzela je domaća posada Punat 1 na čelu s Tonijem Šulinom, a peti su bili Orce na čelu s kapetanom Pavom Cindrićem.

Veliko zanimanje natjecateljskih ekipa i javnosti

KSRM BIG OM zadržao je tradiciju i unatoč izazovima uvjetovanim pandemijom virusa COVID 19 uspješno je organizirao veliko natjecanje koje je polučilo velik izazov među ribolovcima i javnosti. 

- Prošle godine BIG OM je bio jedino natjecanje u big game fishingu na Jadranu. Ove godine bila je još Rogoznica (i Kaštela, nap. OM). Velika je odgovornost osigurati sve uvjete, ne radi zadovoljavanja propisa, nego radi zdravlja natjecatelja i svih uključenih u organizaciju. Nedostajali su druženje i zabava, javno vaganje koje privlači mnogobrojne goste. Ove godine ni vrijeme nas nije poslužilo, ali s obzirom na prvotne najave malčice je bura poremetila zadnji dan - rekao je predsjednik KSRM-a Tomo Sparožić i s entuzijazmom i vjerom u bolje dane najavio 17. BIG OM.

Natjecanje u udičarenju za djecu


Ulaganje u mlade nade paksa je i prioritet omišaljskog kluba. Već tradicionalno održano je i natjecanje u udičarenju za djecu koje je vodila iskusna ribolovka Mare Magdić. Sudjelovalo je 14 djece iz Omišlja. Prvo mjesto osvojio je Tsn Tiška, drugi je bio Alen Grgurov, a treći Mateo Janefski.

Šesnaesti po redu BIG OM na kvarnersku je pučinu donio nikada veći šušur. Čak 34 posade sa 130 sudionika iz Hrvatske, Slovenije, Srbije i BiH u pratnji sudačkih brodova tri su dana igrali uzbudljivu utakmicu s kvarnerskom velikom ribom.

Međunarodnim kupom u lovu na veliku ribu dominirale su slovenske posade koje su u ukupnom poretku zauzele prva tri mjesta.

Prvo mjesto pripalo je posadi Team Strike na čelu s Blažom Zupančićem i u sastavu Gorazd Sklepic, Aleš Zupančić i Istok Hočevar. Oni su na brod izvadili dvije tune koje su im donijele 810,81 bodova.

Posada je ujedno dobitnik i nagrade za fair play radi ulova kojega će ako nešto ne promijenimo biti češće nego tuna. Naime, usred lova na udicu im se zakačila uredska sjedalica. Ekološki osviješteni ribolovci ulov su adekvatno zbrinuli i poslali snažnu poruku o važnosti očuvanja okoliša. Zanimljivo je da je pobjedničkoj ekipi ovo bio prvi zajednički nastup na natjecanju. 

- Prijašnjih godina dolazio sam u Omišalj kao član Barracude. Prije nekog vremena sam se odlučio osnovati svoju ekipu u kojoj su moj brat, najbolji prijatelj i car od čovjeka. Ova pobjeda nam je velika motivacija za sljedeća natjecanja. Dvije tune ukazuju na znanje i vještinu, a ne samo početničku sreću - u dobrom raspoloženju rekao je kapetan nove perspektivne big game fishing posade kojoj kao svojim predstavnicima želimo puno sreće i uspjeha u Kostarici.

Drugo mjesto pripalo je prošlogodišnjim pobjednicima ekipi Ohana u sastavu kapetan Aleš Benda te članova posade Eldar Kavazović, Dušan Bajić, Dušan Petrovič i Zoran Ivančević. Ulovivši tunu tešku 70,45 kilograma osvojili su 733,15 bodova, ali i nagradu za najveću ribu turnira.

Treće mjesto osvojila je ekipa BGFC Mass na čelu s kapetanom Sašom Apostolovskim i članovima. Oni su trećeg dana unatoč teškim vremenskim uvjetima ulovili tunu od 53,77 kilograma i osvojili 616,39 bodova.

Četvrto mjesto zauzela je domaća posada Punat 1 na čelu s Tonijem Šulinom, a peti su bili Orce na čelu s kapetanom Pavom Cindrićem.

Veliko zanimanje natjecateljskih ekipa i javnosti

KSRM BIG OM zadržao je tradiciju i unatoč izazovima uvjetovanim pandemijom virusa COVID 19 uspješno je organizirao veliko natjecanje koje je polučilo velik izazov među ribolovcima i javnosti. 

- Prošle godine BIG OM je bio jedino natjecanje u big game fishingu na Jadranu. Ove godine bila je još Rogoznica (i Kaštela, nap. OM). Velika je odgovornost osigurati sve uvjete, ne radi zadovoljavanja propisa, nego radi zdravlja natjecatelja i svih uključenih u organizaciju. Nedostajali su druženje i zabava, javno vaganje koje privlači mnogobrojne goste. Ove godine ni vrijeme nas nije poslužilo, ali s obzirom na prvotne najave malčice je bura poremetila zadnji dan - rekao je predsjednik KSRM-a Tomo Sparožić i s entuzijazmom i vjerom u bolje dane najavio 17. BIG OM.

Natjecanje u udičarenju za djecu


Ulaganje u mlade nade paksa je i prioritet omišaljskog kluba. Već tradicionalno održano je i natjecanje u udičarenju za djecu koje je vodila iskusna ribolovka Mare Magdić. Sudjelovalo je 14 djece iz Omišlja. Prvo mjesto osvojio je Tsn Tiška, drugi je bio Alen Grgurov, a treći Mateo Janefski.
