Promjena impelera u vodenoj pumpi dizelskog motora spada u obvezne godišnje servisne radove koji osiguravaju mirniji san na điti i ribolovnim turama, jer neprovjereni impeleri imaju nezgodnu naviku otkazivanja baš kad je najnezgodnije – nasred kanala, dok bježimo od nevere, pred noć... Stoga je novi i pouzdani impeler u pumpi posve sigurno isplativa godišnja investicija.

Nepotrebna oštećenja

Sama promjena nije previše komplicirana i može se uglavnom obaviti u sam svoj majstor aranžmanu, osim ako je pumpa smještena na teško dostupnom mjestu, što najčešće nije slučaj.

No da biste taj posao lakše, brže i bolje obavili, dobro je znati neke male trikove i imati pomoćni alat. Dakle, nakon što odvijete vijke i skinete zaštitini poklopac, imat ćete slobodan pristup starom impeleru koji želite promijeniti.

Njega se može izvlačiti špicastim kliještima, izbacivanjem po principu poluge korištenjem dvaju odvijača i sličnim tehnikama, koje nisu baš preporučljive, a znaju biti i neuspješne, osobito kad se impeler zaglavi ili zapeče.

Tada se odvijačima najčešće ošteti kućište pumpe, što nije poželjno za dobro dihtanje, a kad je tijelo impelera dugo, ponekad se jednostavno ne da izbaciti.

Rješenje je kupnja nekog izvlakača koji je napravljen upravo za izvlačenje impelera iz kućišta (u nautičkim trgovinama ili preko interneta), a takav se priručni alat može izraditi i u svakoj maloj radionici.

Njime je izvlačenje starog impelera brzo i jednostavno, a uz to se uvijek obavlja bez oštećivanja kućišta pumpe. Kako će i sam impeler ostati neoštećen, može se spremiti kao nužna rezerva ako je u dobrom stanju.

Nakon čišćenja i podmazivanja kućišta i osovine, novi se impeler namaže silikonskom mašću koja se danas s njim dobije u kompletu, te se stavlja u svoje ležište.

To, međutim, ne ide uvijek lako jer krilca valja sinkrono svinuti da bi impeler mogao ući, što osobito kod jačih impelera nije jednostavno.

No, zato je barem jednostavno rješenje za taj problem. Dakle, da bi ta operacija protekla glatko, najbolje je kao pomoćnika upotrijebiti običnu plastičnu vezicu za kabele.

Korisna vezica

Prethodno se provjeri u kojem su smjeru zakrivljena krilca staroga impelera, a zatim se krilca novoga jednako tako usmjere i u tom položaju fiksiraju zatezanjem vezice. Sada će ulaganje novog impelera biti vrlo lako i on će odmah zauzeti pravilan radni položaj.

Preostaje staviti novi dihtung, koji je prethodno dobro tanko premazati s obje strane nekim silikonskim brtvilom za motorne sklopove, te vratiti poklopac na mjesto i pravilno pritegnuti vijke (unakrsni sistem).

Ako impeler budete mijenjali na opisani način, cijeli posao obavit ćete s lakoćom, a vaša će vodena pumpa mirno i pouzdano raditi da iduće sezone. Ako vas pak baš pogodi peh, pa novi impeler crkne, što se doista rijetko događa, cijeli postupak možete brzo ponoviti i na moru, pa je jedino bitno da su opisani pomoćni alati s vama.

Promjena impelera u vodenoj pumpi dizelskog motora spada u obvezne godišnje servisne radove koji osiguravaju mirniji san na điti i ribolovnim turama, jer neprovjereni impeleri imaju nezgodnu naviku otkazivanja baš kad je najnezgodnije – nasred kanala, dok bježimo od nevere, pred noć... Stoga je novi i pouzdani impeler u pumpi posve sigurno isplativa godišnja investicija.

Nepotrebna oštećenja

Sama promjena nije previše komplicirana i može se uglavnom obaviti u sam svoj majstor aranžmanu, osim ako je pumpa smještena na teško dostupnom mjestu, što najčešće nije slučaj.

No da biste taj posao lakše, brže i bolje obavili, dobro je znati neke male trikove i imati pomoćni alat. Dakle, nakon što odvijete vijke i skinete zaštitini poklopac, imat ćete slobodan pristup starom impeleru koji želite promijeniti.

Njega se može izvlačiti špicastim kliještima, izbacivanjem po principu poluge korištenjem dvaju odvijača i sličnim tehnikama, koje nisu baš preporučljive, a znaju biti i neuspješne, osobito kad se impeler zaglavi ili zapeče.

Tada se odvijačima najčešće ošteti kućište pumpe, što nije poželjno za dobro dihtanje, a kad je tijelo impelera dugo, ponekad se jednostavno ne da izbaciti.

Rješenje je kupnja nekog izvlakača koji je napravljen upravo za izvlačenje impelera iz kućišta (u nautičkim trgovinama ili preko interneta), a takav se priručni alat može izraditi i u svakoj maloj radionici.

Njime je izvlačenje starog impelera brzo i jednostavno, a uz to se uvijek obavlja bez oštećivanja kućišta pumpe. Kako će i sam impeler ostati neoštećen, može se spremiti kao nužna rezerva ako je u dobrom stanju.

Nakon čišćenja i podmazivanja kućišta i osovine, novi se impeler namaže silikonskom mašću koja se danas s njim dobije u kompletu, te se stavlja u svoje ležište.

To, međutim, ne ide uvijek lako jer krilca valja sinkrono svinuti da bi impeler mogao ući, što osobito kod jačih impelera nije jednostavno.

No, zato je barem jednostavno rješenje za taj problem. Dakle, da bi ta operacija protekla glatko, najbolje je kao pomoćnika upotrijebiti običnu plastičnu vezicu za kabele.

Korisna vezica

Prethodno se provjeri u kojem su smjeru zakrivljena krilca staroga impelera, a zatim se krilca novoga jednako tako usmjere i u tom položaju fiksiraju zatezanjem vezice. Sada će ulaganje novog impelera biti vrlo lako i on će odmah zauzeti pravilan radni položaj.

Preostaje staviti novi dihtung, koji je prethodno dobro tanko premazati s obje strane nekim silikonskim brtvilom za motorne sklopove, te vratiti poklopac na mjesto i pravilno pritegnuti vijke (unakrsni sistem).

Ako impeler budete mijenjali na opisani način, cijeli posao obavit ćete s lakoćom, a vaša će vodena pumpa mirno i pouzdano raditi da iduće sezone. Ako vas pak baš pogodi peh, pa novi impeler crkne, što se doista rijetko događa, cijeli postupak možete brzo ponoviti i na moru, pa je jedino bitno da su opisani pomoćni alati s vama.
