Genova će 18. travnja ugostiti 7. izdanje "Foiling Awards", koje odaje počast najboljim projektima u svijetu foil dizajna u posljednjih 12 mjeseci. Tu su i inovativne, jedinstvene i izvanredne jedrilice, o čemu piše nauticmag.com.
Među nominacijama, u kategoriji One Off tu su: For People Imoca Cdk, Baltic Raven 111 i Paprec Arkea Imoca. U kategoriji proizvodnih brodova su: Gerys 4.7 i Switch. I na kraju u kategoriji Projekta su: Skaw i Ferrari 100ft Ocean Foiler.
Među ‘letećim‘ brodovima je nova Imoca 60 "For People" na kojoj će Thomas Ruyant sudjelovati na nadolazećem Vendée Globeu. Brod je rezultat suradnje navalnih arhitekata Antoinea Kocha i Finot-Conqa, tvrtke za inženjerski dizajn GSea Design i bretonskog brodogradilišta CDK Technologies.
Među detaljima ovog dizajna ističe se oblik trupa koji nije ravan nego ima "U" oblik, pa bi udarci na valove trebali biti blaži.

Baltic 111 Raven je superjahta za jedrenje duga 34 metra, opremljena foilom, visokih performansi. Projekt su osmislili Botin Partners i PURE Design, dva imena na čelu izgradnje jahti, uključujući jahte America‘s Cupa. Među njegovim glavnim značajkama su dvije ogromne laminarne površine u obliku slova T, montirane na dvije hidraulički upravljana boka, koji mogu podnijeti dio deplasmana broda (55 tona). Na krmi je Raven opremljen "zakrilcima presretačima". Osim toga, tu je i pomični vodeni balast, s dva ugrađena spremnika.
Pogonski sustav Baltic 111 Raven je dizel-električni hibrid za smanjenje emisija i postizanje učinkovite raspodjele težine.

Druga Imoca 60 u konkurenciji za Foiling Awards je "Paprec Arkéa" jedriličara Yoanna Richommea. Projekt potpisuju arhitekti Antoine Koch i Finot-Conq, a gradilište je Multiplast. U osnovi dizajna stoje dvije važne značajke. Prvo, njegov vrlo visoko šiljati pramac je bez vode, dizajniran da siječe morsku površinu.
Druga značajka broda je jedinstveni manevarski prostor. Ideja je da se skiper vrlo malo kreće kako bi napravio bilo kakve prilagodbe na brodu.

Gerys 4.7 je foil brod pogodan i za škole jedrenja. To je uvjerenje francuske braće Raphaël i Erwan Censier, koji su u svom brodogradilištu Gerys porinuli Gerys 4.7. Već na estetskoj razini, projekt dug 4,70 metara može se pohvaliti nekim karakterističnim značajkama: oblici su izrazito mekani, gotovo da ne nalikuju onima jedrilice, ali definitivno podsjećaju na one gumenjaka. Ističu se i mekani pramčani volumeni, široki trup i prostrani kokpit koji može primiti do 3 člana posade. I naravno tu su folije koje su u obliku slova L, ali s mekim kutom.

Switch je novi foiler osmišljen u Italiji. Dug 3,9 m i širok 2,25 m (s "krilima"), ultralagan i sposoban je letjeti brzinom od 30 čvorova na svojim obrnutim T dodacima. Neki ga već nazivaju antimoljac. Na jezeru Garda izradila su ga braća Gian Maria i Stefano Ferrighi, dva mlada dizajnera (rođena 1996.) zaljubljena u foliranje koji su radili u Australiji za velike dizajnerske tvrtke prije nego što su osnovali tvrtku specijaliziranu za kompozite, Garda Carbon Lab.

Skaw 38 je 11-metarski brod sa foil opremom i XXL interijerom. Ima širinu od gotovo 5 metara (normalan brod za krstarenje od 38 stopa ne doseže 4 metra). Kokpit u kojem se nalazi dvostruka kormilarnica je asimetričan, širok i zaštićen tvrdim krovom, rješenjem posuđenim iz svijeta katamarana, koji se otvara na stražnjoj strani.

Ferrari Foiler je jednotrupac dužine 30,48 metara koji je sposoban jedriti potpuno izdignut iz vode. Dizajner novog super letećeg broda je Francuz Guillame Verdier, koji je već nadgledao izradu folija na Maseratijevom Multi 70 trimaranu i trenutno je dio dizajnerskog tima AC75 Team New Zealand. Ali mnoge tvrtke i izvrsnosti Made in Italy sudjeluju u projektu, uključujući Cariboni za svu hidrauliku i hidrauličko rukovanje.
Cilj je da brod postigne brzinu od 50 čvorova i da obori rekorde prvenstveno onaj u obilasku svijeta na Jules Verne Trophy-u, koji je do danas postavio trimaran IDEC Sport Francisa Joyona (40 dana, 23 sata, 30 minuta i 30 sekundi) pri prosječnoj brzini od 26,90 čvorova, s vrhuncima između 38 i 44 čvora. Ovo će biti vrhunski projekt u smislu tehnologije i energije, a na brodu ćemo vidjeti sustave koji posve inovativni u svijetu jedrenja. Ideja je minimizacija potrošnje kao i energetska autonomija, što je na velikim brodovima vrlo teško postići.

Genova će 18. travnja ugostiti 7. izdanje "Foiling Awards", koje odaje počast najboljim projektima u svijetu foil dizajna u posljednjih 12 mjeseci. Tu su i inovativne, jedinstvene i izvanredne jedrilice, o čemu piše nauticmag.com.
Među nominacijama, u kategoriji One Off tu su: For People Imoca Cdk, Baltic Raven 111 i Paprec Arkea Imoca. U kategoriji proizvodnih brodova su: Gerys 4.7 i Switch. I na kraju u kategoriji Projekta su: Skaw i Ferrari 100ft Ocean Foiler.
Među ‘letećim‘ brodovima je nova Imoca 60 "For People" na kojoj će Thomas Ruyant sudjelovati na nadolazećem Vendée Globeu. Brod je rezultat suradnje navalnih arhitekata Antoinea Kocha i Finot-Conqa, tvrtke za inženjerski dizajn GSea Design i bretonskog brodogradilišta CDK Technologies.
Među detaljima ovog dizajna ističe se oblik trupa koji nije ravan nego ima "U" oblik, pa bi udarci na valove trebali biti blaži.

Baltic 111 Raven je superjahta za jedrenje duga 34 metra, opremljena foilom, visokih performansi. Projekt su osmislili Botin Partners i PURE Design, dva imena na čelu izgradnje jahti, uključujući jahte America‘s Cupa. Među njegovim glavnim značajkama su dvije ogromne laminarne površine u obliku slova T, montirane na dvije hidraulički upravljana boka, koji mogu podnijeti dio deplasmana broda (55 tona). Na krmi je Raven opremljen "zakrilcima presretačima". Osim toga, tu je i pomični vodeni balast, s dva ugrađena spremnika.
Pogonski sustav Baltic 111 Raven je dizel-električni hibrid za smanjenje emisija i postizanje učinkovite raspodjele težine.

Druga Imoca 60 u konkurenciji za Foiling Awards je "Paprec Arkéa" jedriličara Yoanna Richommea. Projekt potpisuju arhitekti Antoine Koch i Finot-Conq, a gradilište je Multiplast. U osnovi dizajna stoje dvije važne značajke. Prvo, njegov vrlo visoko šiljati pramac je bez vode, dizajniran da siječe morsku površinu.
Druga značajka broda je jedinstveni manevarski prostor. Ideja je da se skiper vrlo malo kreće kako bi napravio bilo kakve prilagodbe na brodu.

Gerys 4.7 je foil brod pogodan i za škole jedrenja. To je uvjerenje francuske braće Raphaël i Erwan Censier, koji su u svom brodogradilištu Gerys porinuli Gerys 4.7. Već na estetskoj razini, projekt dug 4,70 metara može se pohvaliti nekim karakterističnim značajkama: oblici su izrazito mekani, gotovo da ne nalikuju onima jedrilice, ali definitivno podsjećaju na one gumenjaka. Ističu se i mekani pramčani volumeni, široki trup i prostrani kokpit koji može primiti do 3 člana posade. I naravno tu su folije koje su u obliku slova L, ali s mekim kutom.

Switch je novi foiler osmišljen u Italiji. Dug 3,9 m i širok 2,25 m (s "krilima"), ultralagan i sposoban je letjeti brzinom od 30 čvorova na svojim obrnutim T dodacima. Neki ga već nazivaju antimoljac. Na jezeru Garda izradila su ga braća Gian Maria i Stefano Ferrighi, dva mlada dizajnera (rođena 1996.) zaljubljena u foliranje koji su radili u Australiji za velike dizajnerske tvrtke prije nego što su osnovali tvrtku specijaliziranu za kompozite, Garda Carbon Lab.

Skaw 38 je 11-metarski brod sa foil opremom i XXL interijerom. Ima širinu od gotovo 5 metara (normalan brod za krstarenje od 38 stopa ne doseže 4 metra). Kokpit u kojem se nalazi dvostruka kormilarnica je asimetričan, širok i zaštićen tvrdim krovom, rješenjem posuđenim iz svijeta katamarana, koji se otvara na stražnjoj strani.

Ferrari Foiler je jednotrupac dužine 30,48 metara koji je sposoban jedriti potpuno izdignut iz vode. Dizajner novog super letećeg broda je Francuz Guillame Verdier, koji je već nadgledao izradu folija na Maseratijevom Multi 70 trimaranu i trenutno je dio dizajnerskog tima AC75 Team New Zealand. Ali mnoge tvrtke i izvrsnosti Made in Italy sudjeluju u projektu, uključujući Cariboni za svu hidrauliku i hidrauličko rukovanje.
Cilj je da brod postigne brzinu od 50 čvorova i da obori rekorde prvenstveno onaj u obilasku svijeta na Jules Verne Trophy-u, koji je do danas postavio trimaran IDEC Sport Francisa Joyona (40 dana, 23 sata, 30 minuta i 30 sekundi) pri prosječnoj brzini od 26,90 čvorova, s vrhuncima između 38 i 44 čvora. Ovo će biti vrhunski projekt u smislu tehnologije i energije, a na brodu ćemo vidjeti sustave koji posve inovativni u svijetu jedrenja. Ideja je minimizacija potrošnje kao i energetska autonomija, što je na velikim brodovima vrlo teško postići.
