Gelcoat je tvrda kora koja istodobno štiti gradivni laminat stakloplastičnih plovila i daje im ljepotu. Osobito kada je čist i sjajan. No sunce, kiša, čađa i druge nečistoće s vremenom djeluju na gelcoat, stvarajući na njegovoj površini ružne tvrdokorne mrlje ili tragove žućenja. Tada je jedini izlaz njegovo temeljito čišćenje kako bi mu se vratili prvobitna ljepota i sjaj.

Poznata tvrtka Hempel za takvo je čišćenje razvila Gelcoat Cleaning Powder, fini abrazivni prašak koji će uspješno ukloniti i najtvrdokornije mrlje s površine gelcoata.

Primjenjuje se na način da se prah pomiješa s vodom kako bi se dobila pasta, koju potom treba ravnomjerno nanijeti na namočenu površinu gelcoata. Nakon što se pusti da pasta djeluje 10-20 minuta, uz pomoć mekane četke površinu treba dobro istrljati, a odmah zatim temeljito isprati slatkom vodom. Ako je neka mrlja ostala još vidljiva, postupak se može ponoviti. Na kraju površinu treba dobro ispolirati sredstvima Hempel Custom Marine Polish ili Wax TecCel kako bi se dobio finalni sjaj.

Hempel Gelcoat Cleaning Powder osobito je podesan za velike površine, kao što su protuklizne palube na kojima najviše dolazi do nakupljanja onečišćenja. Može se kupiti u brojnim nautičkim trgovinama i prodavaonicama boja i lakova, a cijena mu je oko 19 eura za pakiranje od 0,75 kg. M.Š.

Gelcoat je tvrda kora koja istodobno štiti gradivni laminat stakloplastičnih plovila i daje im ljepotu. Osobito kada je čist i sjajan. No sunce, kiša, čađa i druge nečistoće s vremenom djeluju na gelcoat, stvarajući na njegovoj površini ružne tvrdokorne mrlje ili tragove žućenja. Tada je jedini izlaz njegovo temeljito čišćenje kako bi mu se vratili prvobitna ljepota i sjaj.

Poznata tvrtka Hempel za takvo je čišćenje razvila Gelcoat Cleaning Powder, fini abrazivni prašak koji će uspješno ukloniti i najtvrdokornije mrlje s površine gelcoata.

Primjenjuje se na način da se prah pomiješa s vodom kako bi se dobila pasta, koju potom treba ravnomjerno nanijeti na namočenu površinu gelcoata. Nakon što se pusti da pasta djeluje 10-20 minuta, uz pomoć mekane četke površinu treba dobro istrljati, a odmah zatim temeljito isprati slatkom vodom. Gelcoat je tvrda kora koja istodobno štiti gradivni laminat stakloplastičnih plovila i daje im ljepotu. Osobito kada je čist i sjajan. No sunce, kiša, čađa i druge nečistoće s vremenom djeluju na gelcoat, stvarajući na njegovoj površini ružne tvrdokorne mrlje ili tragove žućenja. Tada je jedini izlaz njegovo temeljito čišćenje kako bi mu se vratili prvobitna ljepota i sjaj.

Poznata tvrtka Hempel za takvo je čišćenje razvila Gelcoat Cleaning Powder, fini abrazivni prašak koji će uspješno ukloniti i najtvrdokornije mrlje s površine gelcoata.

Primjenjuje se na način da se prah pomiješa s vodom kako bi se dobila pasta, koju potom treba ravnomjerno nanijeti na namočenu površinu gelcoata. Nakon što se pusti da pasta djeluje 10-20 minuta, uz pomoć mekane četke površinu treba dobro istrljati, a odmah zatim temeljito isprati slatkom vodom.
