Brojne su prednosti rada na daljinu, ali ima i negativnosti koje bi ga mogle pretvoriti u dvosjekli mač. Kako bi se sačuvalo mentalno zdravlje radnika neophodna je zakonska regulacija na razini EU, smatra psiholog Sandro Kraljević.

"Pravo da isključe svoje uređaje nekima je danas luksuz, a zapravo je ljudska potreba“, kazao je Kraljević.  

Smatra da to pravo treba urediti zakonom, ali ne samo kako bi se regulirali odnosi zaposlenika i poslodavaca. To bi trebalo biti opće pravo jer neprestana uključenost pogubno djeluje na podsvijest", kaže.

"Ovdje se ne radi o visokoj razini stresa, već o kontinuiranoj dugoročnoj izloženosti koja je za psihološku dobrobit ljudi daleko kobnija", tvrdi Kraljević. 

Izbjeći 'izgaranje' 

Europski parlament je u siječnju 2021. donio rezoluciju o pravu radnika da nakon posla isključe svoje uređaje bez suočavanja s posljedicama zbog neodgovaranja na telefonske pozive, elektroničku poštu ili tekstualne poruke.  

Izvješće Europske agencije za sigurnost i zdravlje na radu (EU-OSHA) navodi da su neke države EU već usvojile zakone o takvom pravu kako bi se izbjeglo "izgaranje" i potakla ravnoteža između posla i privatnog života.

Rad na daljinu omogućava veću fleksibilnost, a štedi se i vrijeme inače utrošeno na putovanje koje može rezultirati dodatnim zamorom i stresom. Po podacima Eurostata, više od pola koji rade od kuće smatraju da su tako produktivniji. To dokazuju i studije. 

S druge strane, novo vrijeme i novi načini rada donose brojne izazove.

Nema softvera koji može zamijeniti bliskost

Početkom prosinca u sklopu Odbora za zapošljavanje i socijalna pitanja Europskog parlamenta (EMPL) održana je radionica o mentalnom zdravlju i dobrobiti radnika u digitalnom okruženju nakon pandemije. 

Sudionici su istaknuli da rad na daljinu može imati negativne učinke na produktivnost te na fizičko i mentalno zdravlje jer rezultira većim brojem radnih sati, većim stresom, izolacijom i osjećajem usamljenosti.

Kraljević ističe da je druženje temeljna ljudska potreba te da bez neposrednog kontakta fizički možda ostajemo zdravi, ali smo s druge strane jako oštećeni.

Izvješće EU-OSHA navodi da manjak mogućnosti za druženjem dovodi do intenziviranja rada kako bi se popunio vakuum.

Posljedica je izgaranje radnika i niža produktivnost te pogoršanje mentalnog zdravlja.

Zaposlenici su najveći potencijal tvrtki, drži Kraljević. Dodaje da je zadaća menadžmenta pobrinuti se za svoje ljude, a posebnu pozornost trebaju stariji djelatnici jer je njima prijelaz na digitalni način rada pao teže.

Umjetna inteligencija

U cilju sprječavanja negativnih učinaka rada na daljinu, zaposlenicima danas pomaže i tehnologija. U spomenutoj anketi više od pola ispitanika reklo je da im alarmi i aplikacije olakšavaju postavljanje granica između poslovnog i privatnog. 

Meik Wiking iz danskoga Instituta za istraživanje sreće vjeruje da će tehnologija uskoro nadzirati i mentalno i tjelesno zdravlje, a pametni uređaji postat će nam asistenti. 

Ipak, tehnološki noviteti donose brojne izazove pa se tako sve češće postavlja pitanje učinkovitosti novih oblika upravljanja radnicima uz potporu umjetne inteligencije.

Kraljević navodi da zbog sustava za praćenje radnog učinka ljudi mogu postati blago paranoični. 

"Nije dobro da se stvara percepcija špijunaže. Tehnologija mora biti čovjeku u korist, ne na štetu“, upozorava i poziva na kvalitetnu regulaciju tog pitanja.  

Još nema zakona na nivou EU-a

U EU postoji više razina regulative koje uređuju područja relevantna za rad na daljinu, uključujući mjesto rada, radno vrijeme, ravnotežu između posla i privatnog života, prevenciju rizika i pravo na isključenje. 

Zakonodavni okvir EU-a o sigurnosti i zdravlju na radu sastoji se od okvirne direktive i 24 posebne direktive.

Najrelevantniji dio je sporazum socijalnih partnera o radu na daljinu sklopljen 2002. 

Europska komisija donijela je strateški okvir EU-a o zdravlju i sigurnosti na radu za razdoblje 2021-2027. koja je usmjerena, između ostalog, i na upravljanje promjenama koje donose zelena, digitalna i demografska tranzicija.

Međutim, profesor Loïc Lerouge na nedavnoj je radionici upozorio da na nivou EU-a još nema zakona koji se bave mentalnim zdravljem u vezi s digitalnim svijetom.

Šefovi moraju voditi brigu o ljudima 

Oko 84 milijuna osoba u EU već je prije pandemije imalo problema s mentalnim zdravljem. Polovica radnika smatra stres uobičajenim na radnom mjestu, a on pridonosi otprilike polovici svih izgubljenih radnih dana. 

Koliko god da je korona donijela lošeg, donijela je nešto dobro - osvještavanje važnosti mentalnog zdravlja i izjednačavanje s tjelesnim. Međutim, trebat će još 10 do 20 godina da ih kao društvo ujednačimo, smatra Kraljević. 

Pred nama je puno posla: razgovora, tribina, konferencija i marketinških kampanja kako bi se svijest širila i traženje psihološke pomoći normaliziralo, uvjeren je.

Nije poanta svaki dan biti dobro, to nije niti moguće. Treba prepoznati trenutke kada nismo dobro i tada djelovati, makar i samo nekoliko minuta dnevno, rekao je. 

Nema smisla pokušavati mijenjati svijet i način rada, on se razvija neovisno od nas. Ali možemo mijenjati sebe i vlastiti pristup promjenama. 

“I zadnje, ali ne i manje važno - direktori i menadžeri firmi trebali bi voditi iskrenu brigu o svojim ljudima”, apelira Kraljević.

Brojne su prednosti rada na daljinu, ali ima i negativnosti koje bi ga mogle pretvoriti u dvosjekli mač. Kako bi se sačuvalo mentalno zdravlje radnika neophodna je zakonska regulacija na razini EU, smatra psiholog Sandro Kraljević.

"Pravo da isključe svoje uređaje nekima je danas luksuz, a zapravo je ljudska potreba“, kazao je Kraljević.  

Smatra da to pravo treba urediti zakonom, ali ne samo kako bi se regulirali odnosi zaposlenika i poslodavaca. To bi trebalo biti opće pravo jer neprestana uključenost pogubno djeluje na podsvijest", kaže.

"Ovdje se ne radi o visokoj razini stresa, već o kontinuiranoj dugoročnoj izloženosti koja je za psihološku dobrobit ljudi daleko kobnija", tvrdi Kraljević. 

Izbjeći 'izgaranje' 

Europski parlament je u siječnju 2021. donio rezoluciju o pravu radnika da nakon posla isključe svoje uređaje bez suočavanja s posljedicama zbog neodgovaranja na telefonske pozive, elektroničku poštu ili tekstualne poruke.  

Izvješće Europske agencije za sigurnost i zdravlje na radu (EU-OSHA) navodi da su neke države EU već usvojile zakone o takvom pravu kako bi se izbjeglo "izgaranje" i potakla ravnoteža između posla i privatnog života.

Rad na daljinu omogućava veću fleksibilnost, a štedi se i vrijeme inače utrošeno na putovanje koje može rezultirati dodatnim zamorom i stresom. Po podacima Eurostata, više od pola koji rade od kuće smatraju da su tako produktivniji. To dokazuju i studije. 

S druge strane, novo vrijeme i novi načini rada donose brojne izazove.

Nema softvera koji može zamijeniti bliskost

Početkom prosinca u sklopu Odbora za zapošljavanje i socijalna pitanja Europskog parlamenta (EMPL) održana je radionica o mentalnom zdravlju i dobrobiti radnika u digitalnom okruženju nakon pandemije. 

Sudionici su istaknuli da rad na daljinu može imati negativne učinke na produktivnost te na fizičko i mentalno zdravlje jer rezultira većim brojem radnih sati, većim stresom, izolacijom i osjećajem usamljenosti.

Kraljević ističe da je druženje temeljna ljudska potreba te da bez neposrednog kontakta fizički možda ostajemo zdravi, ali smo s druge strane jako oštećeni.

Izvješće EU-OSHA navodi da manjak mogućnosti za druženjem dovodi do intenziviranja rada kako bi se popunio vakuum.

Posljedica je izgaranje radnika i niža produktivnost te pogoršanje mentalnog zdravlja.

Zaposlenici su najveći potencijal tvrtki, drži Kraljević. Dodaje da je zadaća menadžmenta pobrinuti se za svoje ljude, a posebnu pozornost trebaju stariji djelatnici jer je njima prijelaz na digitalni način rada pao teže.

Umjetna inteligencija

U cilju sprječavanja negativnih učinaka rada na daljinu, zaposlenicima danas pomaže i tehnologija. U spomenutoj anketi više od pola ispitanika reklo je da im alarmi i aplikacije olakšavaju postavljanje granica između poslovnog i privatnog. 

Meik Wiking iz danskoga Instituta za istraživanje sreće vjeruje da će tehnologija uskoro nadzirati i mentalno i tjelesno zdravlje, a pametni uređaji postat će nam asistenti. 

Ipak, tehnološki noviteti donose brojne izazove pa se tako sve češće postavlja pitanje učinkovitosti novih oblika upravljanja radnicima uz potporu umjetne inteligencije.

Kraljević navodi da zbog sustava za praćenje radnog učinka ljudi mogu postati blago paranoični. 

"Nije dobro da se stvara percepcija špijunaže. Tehnologija mora biti čovjeku u korist, ne na štetu“, upozorava i poziva na kvalitetnu regulaciju tog pitanja.  

Još nema zakona na nivou EU-a

U EU postoji više razina regulative koje uređuju područja relevantna za rad na daljinu, uključujući mjesto rada, radno vrijeme, ravnotežu između posla i privatnog života, prevenciju rizika i pravo na isključenje. 

Zakonodavni okvir EU-a o sigurnosti i zdravlju na radu sastoji se od okvirne direktive i 24 posebne direktive.

Najrelevantniji dio je sporazum socijalnih partnera o radu na daljinu sklopljen 2002. 

Europska komisija donijela je strateški okvir EU-a o zdravlju i sigurnosti na radu za razdoblje 2021-2027. koja je usmjerena, između ostalog, i na upravljanje promjenama koje donose zelena, digitalna i demografska tranzicija.

Međutim, profesor Loïc Lerouge na nedavnoj je radionici upozorio da na nivou EU-a još nema zakona koji se bave mentalnim zdravljem u vezi s digitalnim svijetom.

Šefovi moraju voditi brigu o ljudima 

Oko 84 milijuna osoba u EU već je prije pandemije imalo problema s mentalnim zdravljem. Polovica radnika smatra stres uobičajenim na radnom mjestu, a on pridonosi otprilike polovici svih izgubljenih radnih dana. 

Koliko god da je korona donijela lošeg, donijela je nešto dobro - osvještavanje važnosti mentalnog zdravlja i izjednačavanje s tjelesnim. Međutim, trebat će još 10 do 20 godina da ih kao društvo ujednačimo, smatra Kraljević. 

Pred nama je puno posla: razgovora, tribina, konferencija i marketinških kampanja kako bi se svijest širila i traženje psihološke pomoći normaliziralo, uvjeren je.

Nije poanta svaki dan biti dobro, to nije niti moguće. Treba prepoznati trenutke kada nismo dobro i tada djelovati, makar i samo nekoliko minuta dnevno, rekao je. 

Nema smisla pokušavati mijenjati svijet i način rada, on se razvija neovisno od nas. Ali možemo mijenjati sebe i vlastiti pristup promjenama. 

“I zadnje, ali ne i manje važno - direktori i menadžeri firmi trebali bi voditi iskrenu brigu o svojim ljudima”, apelira Kraljević.
