Kao što za prehrambene proizvode postoje rokovi trajanja, tako postoje i za lijekove. I kao što za prve neki poštuju rokove i ne konzumiraju ih poslije označenog datuma, tako se neki ponašaju i prema lijekovima.

Naravno, lijekovi su osjetljiviji, ipak je riječ o zdravlju.

- Postoje neki lijekovi koji su štetni i mogu biti otrovni nakon isteka roka trajanja. Ali, uopćeno, ako uzimate lijekove kojima je istekao rok trajanja, oni jednostavno neće biti toliko djelotvorni - navodi Health, prenosi Dnevni avaz.

Nakon što lijeku istekne rok, nijedan farmaceut vam ne garantira da će lijek imati isti učinak. Premda ti rokovi nisu u potpunosti crno-bijeli, ne bi trebalo ni eksperimentirati. Neki lijekovi mogu se koristiti i nekoliko mjeseci nakon isteka roka trajanja, no malo je vjerovatno da će biti jednako djelotvorni.

Određeni lijekovi protiv prehlade i gripe koji se izdaju bez recepta zahtijevaju poštovanje roka valjanosti navedenog na ambalaži. Lijekovi koji su u tekućem obliku, kao što su kapi za nos, oči, sirupi, neće biti upotrebljivo nakon isteka roka trajanja, jer takvi lijekovi imaju tendenciju razmnožavanja bakterija.

Prema tome, trebalo bi redovito provjeravati rok trajanja u kućnoj ljekarni i zamjenjivati one kojima je rok prošao važećim lijekovima. U pitanju je zdravlje.

Kao što za prehrambene proizvode postoje rokovi trajanja, tako postoje i za lijekove. I kao što za prve neki poštuju rokove i ne konzumiraju ih poslije označenog datuma, tako se neki ponašaju i prema lijekovima.
