Genijalni ljudi impresioniraju svojim mogućnostima i postignućima, ali kada se pobliže upozna njihov život, često ih se vidi i u drugom, realnom svjetlu. Takav je slučaj i s Albertom Einsteinom.

"Mislim da je Einsteinu bilo teško nositi se s mentalnim poremećajem svog sina", kaže Zeev Rosenkranz, urednik i zamjenik direktora Einstein Writings Projecta, koji je prikupio, preveo i objavio tisuće spisa poznatog nobelovca.

Eduard, ili "Tete", bio je najmlađe dijete Alberta Einsteina. Njegova je obitelj od malih nogu bila zabrinuta za njegovo fizičko zdravlje. Njegovi psihički problemi neće se pokazati dok ne odraste. Imao je vrlo tragičan život, rekao je Rosencrantz, piše Margarita Rodriguez za BBC.

Albert Einstein i njegova prva supruga, fizičarka Mileva Marić, imali su ukupno troje djece: sudbina njihove kćeri Lieserl (njihovog najstarijeg djeteta) obavijena je velom tajne; i Hans Albert (njihovo srednje dijete i stariji sin), koji je u svoje vrijeme postao cijenjeni znanstvenik, iako nikada nije dostigao slavu svog oca.

"Ono po čemu je moj otac bio izuzetan, mislim, bila je upornost s kojom se posvetio problemima, čak i nakon što je naišao na pogrešno rješenje. Uvijek bi pokušavao iznova i iznova i iznova. Možda sam ja jedini problem od kojeg je moj otac odustao. Pokušao me savjetovati, ali je brzo shvatio da sam previše tvrdoglav i da mu samo uzimam vrijeme", rekao je Hans Albert.

Prvo dijete Mileve Marić i Alberta Einsteina, rođeno izvan braka 1902. godine, bila je djevojčica Lieserl.

"Zapravo ne znamo što joj se dogodilo nakon druge godine", kaže Rosenkranz.

Fizičareva pisma i dokumenti postali su neprocjenjiv izvor za njegovo sagledavanje u drugačijem, humanijem svjetlu. Na temelju tih pisama uopće znamo da je Lisserl postojala.

"Je li zdrava? Plače li normalno? Kakve su joj oči? Na koga više sliči? Tko joj daje mlijeko? Sigurno je potpuno ćelava. Ne poznajem je, ali je već jako volim", napisao je Einstein iz Švicarske – gdje je par tada živio – Milevi, koja je doputovala u Srbiju na porod.

"Njegova majka bila je kategorički protiv njegove veze s Milevom", rekao je za BBC Hanoch Gutfreund, koautor nedavno objavljene knjige "Einstein on Einstein: Autobiographical and Scientific Reflections".

Gutfreund kaže da je Einsteinova majka vjerovala da će njezin san uništiti svoju budućnost: "Čak ga je upozorila da će to biti katastrofa ako Mileva zatrudni." U to je vrijeme trudnoća prije braka bila veliki skandal.

"Zaključak je da su njih dvoje bili do ušiju zaljubljeni jedno u drugo", kaže Gutfreund. Vjeruje se da je njihova veza započela kada je on imao 19, a ona 23 godine.

Dvoje fizičara bili su kolege na Politehničkom institutu u Zürichu, gdje je Mileva u to vrijeme bila jedina studentica i tek druga žena koja je ikada završila studij na Odsjeku za matematiku i fiziku.

Walter Isaacson, autor knjige "Einstein: His Life and Universe", kaže da iz Einsteinovih pisama saznajemo o njegovim osjećajima prema Milevi, ali i o tome koliko njegova majka nije odobravala njegovu nevjestu.

Jedno od pisama glasi: "Moji roditelji liju suze za mnom kao da sam umro. Stalno se žale da sam se osramotio svojom odanošću tebi. Misle da nisam zdrav."

Ali Einstein je slijedio svoje srce. Tijekom trudnoće pisao je Milevi obećavajući joj da će biti dobar muž: "Jedini problem koji nam preostaje riješiti je kako našu Lieserl zadržati s nama. Ne bih je volio dati na posvajanje."

Einstein je bio svjestan koliko je teško imati "izvanbračno dijete", pogotovo za nekoga tko je težio postati ugledni državni službenik.

Čini se da poznati fizičar nikada nije upoznao Lisserl - kad je došlo vrijeme da se Mileva vrati u Švicarsku, ostavila ju je kod rodbine u Srbiji.

Isaacson sugerira mogućnost da se o Lieserl mogao brinuti netko od Milevinih bliskih prijatelja, ali za to nema pouzdane potvrde.

"Sve što znamo o njihovoj kćeri zapisano je u njihovim ljubavnim pismima. Ali od određenog trenutka ona se više uopće ne spominje", ističe Gutfreund.

"Bilo je povjesničara i novinara koji su putovali u Srbiju i pokušavali pronaći njezine tragove, kopali po dokumentima i zapisima u arhivima i skladištima, a sve neuspješno. Zadnji put je spomenuta kad je imala oko dvije godine, kad je oboljela od šarlaha. Ne znamo je li to preživjela", dodaje Rosenkranz.

Ta je činjenica dovela do brojnih nagađanja: "Možda je dana na posvajanje ili je možda preminula. Jednostavno ne znamo", dodaje Rosenkranz.

Vjeruje se da Einstein, koji je umro 1955., nikada nikome nije rekao za svoju kćer.

Štoviše, tim koji stoji iza "Projekta Einstein Papers" otkrio je postojanje djeteta tek 1986. godine, kada su pronašli dio njegove korespondencije s Milevom, piše BBC.

Genijalni ljudi impresioniraju svojim mogućnostima i postignućima, ali kada se pobliže upozna njihov život, često ih se vidi i u drugom, realnom svjetlu. Takav je slučaj i s Albertom Einsteinom.

"Mislim da je Einsteinu bilo teško nositi se s mentalnim poremećajem svog sina", kaže Zeev Rosenkranz, urednik i zamjenik direktora Einstein Writings Projecta, koji je prikupio, preveo i objavio tisuće spisa poznatog nobelovca.

Eduard, ili "Tete", bio je najmlađe dijete Alberta Einsteina. Njegova je obitelj od malih nogu bila zabrinuta za njegovo fizičko zdravlje. Njegovi psihički problemi neće se pokazati dok ne odraste. Imao je vrlo tragičan život, rekao je Rosencrantz, piše Margarita Rodriguez za BBC.

Albert Einstein i njegova prva supruga, fizičarka Mileva Marić, imali su ukupno troje djece: sudbina njihove kćeri Lieserl (njihovog najstarijeg djeteta) obavijena je velom tajne; i Hans Albert (njihovo srednje dijete i stariji sin), koji je u svoje vrijeme postao cijenjeni znanstvenik, iako nikada nije dostigao slavu svog oca.

"Ono po čemu je moj otac bio izuzetan, mislim, bila je upornost s kojom se posvetio problemima, čak i nakon što je naišao na pogrešno rješenje. Uvijek bi pokušavao iznova i iznova i iznova. Možda sam ja jedini problem od kojeg je moj otac odustao. Pokušao me savjetovati, ali je brzo shvatio da sam previše tvrdoglav i da mu samo uzimam vrijeme", rekao je Hans Albert.

Prvo dijete Mileve Marić i Alberta Einsteina, rođeno izvan braka 1902. godine, bila je djevojčica Lieserl.

"Zapravo ne znamo što joj se dogodilo nakon druge godine", kaže Rosenkranz.

Fizičareva pisma i dokumenti postali su neprocjenjiv izvor za njegovo sagledavanje u drugačijem, humanijem svjetlu. Na temelju tih pisama uopće znamo da je Lisserl postojala.

"Je li zdrava? Plače li normalno? Kakve su joj oči? Na koga više sliči? Tko joj daje mlijeko? Sigurno je potpuno ćelava. Ne poznajem je, ali je već jako volim", napisao je Einstein iz Švicarske – gdje je par tada živio – Milevi, koja je doputovala u Srbiju na porod.

"Njegova majka bila je kategorički protiv njegove veze s Milevom", rekao je za BBC Hanoch Gutfreund, koautor nedavno objavljene knjige "Einstein on Einstein: Autobiographical and Scientific Reflections".

Gutfreund kaže da je Einsteinova majka vjerovala da će njezin san uništiti svoju budućnost: "Čak ga je upozorila da će to biti katastrofa ako Mileva zatrudni." U to je vrijeme trudnoća prije braka bila veliki skandal.

"Zaključak je da su njih dvoje bili do ušiju zaljubljeni jedno u drugo", kaže Gutfreund. Vjeruje se da je njihova veza započela kada je on imao 19, a ona 23 godine.

Dvoje fizičara bili su kolege na Politehničkom institutu u Zürichu, gdje je Mileva u to vrijeme bila jedina studentica i tek druga žena koja je ikada završila studij na Odsjeku za matematiku i fiziku.

Walter Isaacson, autor knjige "Einstein: His Life and Universe", kaže da iz Einsteinovih pisama saznajemo o njegovim osjećajima prema Milevi, ali i o tome koliko njegova majka nije odobravala njegovu nevjestu.

Jedno od pisama glasi: "Moji roditelji liju suze za mnom kao da sam umro. Stalno se žale da sam se osramotio svojom odanošću tebi. Misle da nisam zdrav."

Ali Einstein je slijedio svoje srce. Tijekom trudnoće pisao je Milevi obećavajući joj da će biti dobar muž: "Jedini problem koji nam preostaje riješiti je kako našu Lieserl zadržati s nama. Ne bih je volio dati na posvajanje."

Einstein je bio svjestan koliko je teško imati "izvanbračno dijete", pogotovo za nekoga tko je težio postati ugledni državni službenik.

Čini se da poznati fizičar nikada nije upoznao Lisserl - kad je došlo vrijeme da se Mileva vrati u Švicarsku, ostavila ju je kod rodbine u Srbiji.

Isaacson sugerira mogućnost da se o Lieserl mogao brinuti netko od Milevinih bliskih prijatelja, ali za to nema pouzdane potvrde.

"Sve što znamo o njihovoj kćeri zapisano je u njihovim ljubavnim pismima. Ali od određenog trenutka ona se više uopće ne spominje", ističe Gutfreund.

"Bilo je povjesničara i novinara koji su putovali u Srbiju i pokušavali pronaći njezine tragove, kopali po dokumentima i zapisima u arhivima i skladištima, a sve neuspješno. Zadnji put je spomenuta kad je imala oko dvije godine, kad je oboljela od šarlaha. Ne znamo je li to preživjela", dodaje Rosenkranz.

Ta je činjenica dovela do brojnih nagađanja: "Možda je dana na posvajanje ili je možda preminula. Jednostavno ne znamo", dodaje Rosenkranz.

Vjeruje se da Einstein, koji je umro 1955., nikada nikome nije rekao za svoju kćer.

Štoviše, tim koji stoji iza "Projekta Einstein Papers" otkrio je postojanje djeteta tek 1986. godine, kada su pronašli dio njegove korespondencije s Milevom, piše BBC.
