Dva tjedna nakon što je primljena u bolnicu zbog operacije abdomena, britanska princeza Kate u ponedjeljak se vratila u svoj dom na imanju Windsor, gdje će se nastaviti oporavljati.
Operativni zahvat, čiji detalji nisu poznati, ali zna se da nije bilo u pitanju ništa kancerogeno, oabljen je u privatnoj bolnici "The London Clinic", gdje se od petka nalazi i kralj Charles III., kojemu je bio potreban korektivni zahvat na, kako je službeno objavljeno, benigno povećanoj prostati.

Dva tjedna nakon što je primljena u bolnicu zbog operacije abdomena, britanska princeza Kate u ponedjeljak se vratila u svoj dom na imanju Windsor, gdje će se nastaviti oporavljati.
Operativni zahvat, čiji detalji nisu poznati, ali zna se da nije bilo u pitanju ništa kancerogeno, oabljen je u privatnoj bolnici "The London Clinic", gdje se od petka nalazi i kralj Charles III., kojemu je bio potreban korektivni zahvat na, kako je službeno objavljeno, benigno povećanoj prostati.

Prvobitno je rečeno kako će Charles ostati u bolnici dva dana, ali je hospitalizacija produžena, što je izazvalo zabrinutost u javnosti za zdravlje suverena koji je britansku krunu preuzeo u rujnu 2021. nakon smrti svoje majke, kraljice Elizabete II.
Nije poznato koliko će Charles ostati u bolnici, a pojavile su se neke špekulacije kako se službenim dužnostima u javnosti neće vratiti za mjesec dana.

Oporavak princeze Kate potrajat će još duže, prvobitno je rečeno da se službenim dužnostima neće vratiti prije Uskrsa, ali to će ovisiti o brzini oporavka i preporukama medicinskih stručnjaka.

U službenom priopćenju kojim je objavljeno da je Kate otpuštena iz bolnice, stoji i da se dobro oporavlja, te da ona i William zahvaljuju cijeloj ekipi u bolnici, naročito medicinskim sestrama, na njezi koju su joj pružili.
- Obitelj Wales zahvalna je i za sve dobre želje koje su primili sa svih strana svijeta – stoji u priopćenju.
Kralj Charles je u petak, prilikom dolaska u bolnicu na operativni zahvat, posjetio nevjestu Kate, a njega je u protekla tri dana redovito posjećivala supruga, kraljica Camilla.
