Karan Raj je doktor koji na svom TikToku redovito objavljuje informativne videozapise koji prikupljaju milijune pregleda, prenose 24 Sata.

U jednom od svojih videa, svojim pratiteljima je objasnio da će, ako piju mljevenu kavu, vjerojatno popiti i komadiće žohara.

- Prethodno mljevena kava, poput one u većini trgovina, sadrži samljevene žohare. Određeni postotak zrna kave zarazi se žoharima i drugim insektima. Obično ih se ne može potpuno preraditi, pa se samo ispeku i samelju sa zrnima kave - objasnio je i dodao kako većina nadležnih tijela pri kontroli dopuštaju određeni postotak kukaca u namirnicama. 

Ipak, Raj je pokušao spasiti stvar rekavši da žohari sadrže puno proteina, ali je svim alergičarima naglasio: "Ako ste alergični na žohare, klonio bih se prethodno mljevene kave".

U ovoj teoriji ustraje i Douglas Emlen, profesor biologije sa Sveučilišta Montana. Naime, on tvrdi da je nakon nekoliko godina proučavanja insekata i njihovih odnosa s ljudima, jedan od njegovih profesora postao alergičan na žohare. Nije mogao imati kontakt sa žoharom, bez da dobije reakciju. Tada je shvatio da mu se isto događalo pri pijenju kave od mljevenih zrna.

U potrazi za poveznicom, otkrio je da je mljevena kava prerađena iz ogromnih hrpi zaliha kave, koje je nemoguće zaštititi od žohara.

Inače, američki standardi dopuštaju da zrna kave sadrže 10 posto prljavštine i insekata. Otkriće doktora Raja sablaznilo je njegove pratitelje. 

"Mogla sam živjeti život bez ove spoznaje."

"Zašto sam ovo vidio nakon šalice kave?", bili su neki od komentara na ovaj video.

Karan Raj je doktor koji na svom TikToku redovito objavljuje informativne videozapise koji prikupljaju milijune pregleda, prenose 24 Sata.

U jednom od svojih videa, svojim pratiteljima je objasnio da će, ako piju mljevenu kavu, vjerojatno popiti i komadiće žohara.

- Prethodno mljevena kava, poput one u većini trgovina, sadrži samljevene žohare. Određeni postotak zrna kave zarazi se žoharima i drugim insektima. Obično ih se ne može potpuno preraditi, pa se samo ispeku i samelju sa zrnima kave - objasnio je i dodao kako većina nadležnih tijela pri kontroli dopuštaju određeni postotak kukaca u namirnicama. 

Ipak, Raj je pokušao spasiti stvar rekavši da žohari sadrže puno proteina, ali je svim alergičarima naglasio: "Ako ste alergični na žohare, klonio bih se prethodno mljevene kave".

U ovoj teoriji ustraje i Douglas Emlen, profesor biologije sa Sveučilišta Montana. Naime, on tvrdi da je nakon nekoliko godina proučavanja insekata i njihovih odnosa s ljudima, jedan od njegovih profesora postao alergičan na žohare. Nije mogao imati kontakt sa žoharom, bez da dobije reakciju. Tada je shvatio da mu se isto događalo pri pijenju kave od mljevenih zrna.

U potrazi za poveznicom, otkrio je da je mljevena kava prerađena iz ogromnih hrpi zaliha kave, koje je nemoguće zaštititi od žohara.

Inače, američki standardi dopuštaju da zrna kave sadrže 10 posto prljavštine i insekata. Otkriće doktora Raja sablaznilo je njegove pratitelje. 

"Mogla sam živjeti život bez ove spoznaje."

"Želi li netko Starbugs?"

"Zašto sam ovo vidio nakon šalice kave?", bili su neki od komentara na ovaj video.

Karan Raj je doktor koji na svom TikToku redovito objavljuje informativne videozapise koji prikupljaju milijune pregleda, prenose 24 Sata.

U jednom od svojih videa, svojim pratiteljima je objasnio da će, ako piju mljevenu kavu, vjerojatno popiti i komadiće žohara.

- Prethodno mljevena kava, poput one u većini trgovina, sadrži samljevene žohare. Određeni postotak zrna kave zarazi se žoharima i drugim insektima. Obično ih se ne može potpuno preraditi, pa se samo ispeku i samelju sa zrnima kave - objasnio je i dodao kako većina nadležnih tijela pri kontroli dopuštaju određeni postotak kukaca u namirnicama. 

Ipak, Raj je pokušao spasiti stvar rekavši da žohari sadrže puno proteina, ali je svim alergičarima naglasio: "Ako ste alergični na žohare, klonio bih se prethodno mljeve...
