Prolongiranje hrvatske kinodistribucije "Skandaloznog ponašanja" zbog korone na kraju je otišlo u prilog filmu. Nekih šest mjeseci kasnije, "Misbehaviour" dolazi u naša kina na valu masovnih prosvjeda za ženska prava u Poljskoj koji su doživjeli međunarodnu solidarizaciju s potporom i u Hrvatskoj (Zagreb, Trogir...). Pogođen tajming. Spretna okolnost.
Poljakinje su ustale protiv restrikcija ženskih reproduktivnih prava, a borba za pravo na pobačaj je i na listi želja Pokreta za oslobođenje žena u filmu "Skandalozno ponašanje". Pokret za oslobođenje žena nalazi se u centru istinite priče o aktivisticama-feministicama koje su, vođenne krilaticom "Mi nismo lijepe, mi nismo ružne, mi smo ljute", upale na izbor za Miss svijeta u Londonu 1970. i prekinule prijenos uživo iznimno gledana TV showa, emitirana u milijunima domova diljem planeta.

Feministička povijest bila je tada ispisana u "boldu", a "Misbehaviour" je pitka lekcija iz te povijesti u domeni političkog aktivizma. Povijesti ženske borbe protiv muškog establišmenta, seksualne objektivizacije i spolne diskriminacije.
"Govore nam da trebamo služiti muškarcima, opsluživati ih... Ako rasizam opisuje jednu tiraniju, zar seksizam ne opisuje drugu", ulomak je iz govora na inicijalnom sastanku pokreta kojem su nazočile protagonistice Sally Alexander i radikalna Jo Robinson u poslovično kvalitetnom tumačenju Keire Knightley i Jessie Buckley, revne profeministički preispitati percepciju i koncept žene u (muškom) društvu.
Postavljanje temelja njihova protesta protiv partijarhata koincidira s izborom za Miss svijeta koji Sally uspoređuje sa "stočnim sajmom" jer se natjecateljice vagaju i mjere, uz to što ih pogledima mjerkaju muškarci poput organizatora showa Erica Morleyja (Rhys Ifans) koji očekuje da djevojke ostavljaju dojam da su netaknute.
Analogija je na mjestu, premda se npr. mjere/vagaju i muškarci na natjecanjima u borilačkim sportovima pa nikom ništa. Nije sve crno-bijelo, ali srećom režiserka Philippa Lowthorpe ("The Crown") i koscenaristica Rebecca Frayn ("The Lady") uzimaju sivu boju u ruke.
"Stočni" tretman kandatkinja prilikom priprema za ceremoniju opaža i miss Švedske Maj Johannsen (Clara Rosager), vidjevši među ostalim kako se Morley dere na žene, najviše baš na miss Jugoslavije (Biljana Biki) koja je stala na početak abecednog reda umjesto na kraj.
Ipak, na to joj kolegica iz Grenade, Jennifer Hosten (vrlo dobra Gugu Mbatha-Raw), kaže "Ti si veoma sretna ako misliš da je ovo loš tretman". Jennifer tu staje, jer neizgovoreno je nekad snažnije od izgovorenoga.
Filmu "Skandalozno ponašanje", režiranom i napisanom na sav glas, nedostaje takvih suptilnosti budući da je realiziran kao dosad najultimativniji post-Weinstein #MeToo projekt uperen protiv seksista utjelovljenih u liku meštra ceremonije Boba Hopea (solidni Greg Kinnear, gotovo neprepoznatljiv ispod prostetičke maske s naglaskom na nos).
Dosta je toga "on the nose", jasno i glasno, poput pojačavanja hit-pjesme "Respect" Arethe Franklin na soundtracku, a lišeno spontanosti ili autoironije filma "Miss Congeniality" ("mir u svijetu"). Naravno da miss Grenade, koja se ne osjeća kao "žrtva" izbora ljepote, cilja na tretman zbog boje kože koja postaje važan faktor s obzirom na rasne podjele i "antiaparthejd" aktiviste, uslijed čega je Južnu Afriku prvi put predstavljala i jedna tamnoputa djevojka, Pearl Jansen (Loreece Harrison).
Dodamo li tome da je Jennifer na kraju okrunjena krunom Miss svijeta, kao prva crnkinja u povijesti izbora, očito je da je ovdje bilo materijala za dva politički konotirana filma o osobnim i kolektivnim pobjedama. Lowthorpe ih pokušava objediniti stavljajući veći naglasak na Sallynu aktivističku liniju iz dvije paralelne priče i pretvarajući "Misbehaviour" u izbor za Miss feminizma.
Rezultat tog "objedinjavanja" je humorna drama često neujednačena fokusa i nerijetko feministički prenaglašena, ali uvijek intrigantna, pa i relevantna. Relevantija nego ikad nakon štrajka Poljaka. Kao što vidimo, "pokušaji svrgavanja patrijarhata traju i dalje".

Prolongiranje hrvatske kinodistribucije "Skandaloznog ponašanja" zbog korone na kraju je otišlo u prilog filmu. Nekih šest mjeseci kasnije, "Misbehaviour" dolazi u naša kina na valu masovnih prosvjeda za ženska prava u Poljskoj koji su doživjeli međunarodnu solidarizaciju s potporom i u Hrvatskoj (Zagreb, Trogir...). Pogođen tajming. Spretna okolnost.
Poljakinje su ustale protiv restrikcija ženskih reproduktivnih prava, a borba za pravo na pobačaj je i na listi želja Pokreta za oslobođenje žena u filmu "Skandalozno ponašanje". Pokret za oslobođenje žena nalazi se u centru istinite priče o aktivisticama-feministicama koje su, vođenne krilaticom "Mi nismo lijepe, mi nismo ružne, mi smo ljute", upale na izbor za Miss svijeta u Londonu 1970. i prekinule prijenos uživo iznimno gledana TV showa, emitirana u milijunima domova diljem planeta.

Feministička povijest bila je tada ispisana u "boldu", a "Misbehaviour" je pitka lekcija iz te povijesti u domeni političkog aktivizma. Povijesti ženske borbe protiv muškog establišmenta, seksualne objektivizacije i spolne diskriminacije.
"Govore nam da trebamo služiti muškarcima, opsluživati ih... Ako rasizam opisuje jednu tiraniju, zar seksizam ne opisuje drugu", ulomak je iz govora na inicijalnom sastanku pokreta kojem su nazočile protagonistice Sally Alexander i radikalna Jo Robinson u poslovično kvalitetnom tumačenju Keire Knightley i Jessie Buckley, revne profeministički preispitati percepciju i koncept žene u (muškom) društvu.
Postavljanje temelja njihova protesta protiv partijarhata koincidira s izborom za Miss svijeta koji Sally uspoređuje sa "stočnim sajmom" jer se natjecateljice vagaju i mjere, uz to što ih pogledima mjerkaju muškarci poput organizatora showa Erica Morleyja (Rhys Ifans) koji očekuje da djevojke ostavljaju dojam da su netaknute.
Analogija je na mjestu, premda se npr. mjere/vagaju i muškarci na natjecanjima u borilačkim sportovima pa nikom ništa. Nije sve crno-bijelo, ali srećom režiserka Philippa Lowthorpe ("The Crown") i koscenaristica Rebecca Frayn ("The Lady") uzimaju sivu boju u ruke.
"Stočni" tretman kandatkinja prilikom priprema za ceremoniju opaža i miss Švedske Maj Johannsen (Clara Rosager), vidjevši među ostalim kako se Morley dere na žene, najviše baš na miss Jugoslavije (Biljana Biki) koja je stala na početak abecednog reda umjesto na kraj.
Ipak, na to joj kolegica iz Grenade, Jennifer Hosten (vrlo dobra Gugu Mbatha-Raw), kaže "Ti si veoma sretna ako misliš da je ovo loš tretman". Jennifer tu staje, jer neizgovoreno je nekad snažnije od izgovorenoga.
Filmu "Skandalozno ponašanje", režiranom i napisanom na sav glas, nedostaje takvih suptilnosti budući da je realiziran kao dosad najultimativniji post-Weinstein #MeToo projekt uperen protiv seksista utjelovljenih u liku meštra ceremonije Boba Hopea (solidni Greg Kinnear, gotovo neprepoznatljiv ispod prostetičke maske s naglaskom na nos).
Dosta je toga "on the nose", jasno i glasno, poput pojačavanja hit-pjesme "Respect" Arethe Franklin na soundtracku, a lišeno spontanosti ili autoironije filma "Miss Congeniality" ("mir u svijetu"). Naravno da miss Grenade, koja se ne osjeća kao "žrtva" izbora ljepote, cilja na tretman zbog boje kože koja postaje važan faktor s obzirom na rasne podjele i "antiaparthejd" aktiviste, uslijed čega je Južnu Afriku prvi put predstavljala i jedna tamnoputa djevojka, Pearl Jansen (Loreece Harrison).
Dodamo li tome da je Jennifer na kraju okrunjena krunom Miss svijeta, kao prva crnkinja u povijesti izbora, očito je da je ovdje bilo materijala za dva politički konotirana filma o osobnim i kolektivnim pobjedama. Lowthorpe ih pokušava objediniti stavljajući veći naglasak na Sallynu aktivističku liniju iz dvije paralelne priče i pretvarajući "Misbehaviour" u izbor za Miss feminizma.
Rezultat tog "objedinjavanja" je humorna drama često neujednačena fokusa i nerijetko feministički prenaglašena, ali uvijek intrigantna, pa i relevantna. Relevantija nego ikad nakon štrajka Poljaka. Kao što vidimo, "pokušaji svrgavanja patrijarhata traju i dalje".
