Skromno i samozatajno pločanska “Vita” – Udruga za solidarnost među sugrađanima – žene oboljele od raka dojke, proslavila je izniman jubilej, 25 godina djelovanja!

”Vite” su osnovane 5. veljače danas pomalo davne 1998. godine i od tada su organizirale bezbroj manifestacija i događaja kako bi ispunile svoju misiju. Dugogodišnja predsjednica Udruge je Nataša Peko, poznata kao dobar organizator i komunikator, a kao invalid s dosta slobodnog vremena, snage i volje posvetila se u potpunosti radu Udruge, uz pomoć članica.

Građani u ružičastoj vrpci

Od Grada Ploča dobile i renovirane primjeren prostor. Nabavile su aparat za limfnu drenažu, iz Zagreba je stigao prvi mamograf, izrađivale su razne suvenire, bile su redoviti gosti na svim važnijim događanjima…

Nakon nekog vremena postale su članice Europa Donna Hrvatske i intenzivirale aktivnosti vezane za podizanje svijesti žena o raku dojke, edukaciji i ranom otkrivanju raka. U realizaciji projekata, potrebnu pomoć imale su od Grada Ploča i Dubrovačko – neretvanske županija, ali predsjednica pločanskih “Vita” posebno će istaknuti i dr. Ankicu Džono – Boban i nekadašnju premijerku Jadranku Kosor.

Godine 2010. sa Šimom Strikomanom snimile su na pločanskoj rivi milenijsku fotografiju “Građani u ružičastoj vrpci”, bila je to prva fotografija na tu temu u Hrvatskoj. Dvije godine nakon toga, u Športskoj dvorani u Pločama organizirale su veliki koncert i prikupljena sredstva uplatile su na poseban račun za nabavku linearnog akceleratora, koji, na žalost, ni do danas nije nabavljen. Godine 2015. Ministarstvo zdravlja odobrilo im je projekt za fizikalne terapije – limfna drenaža, koji se održavao dvije godine s osposobljenom osobom.

”Ponosne smo na dosadašnje uspješno djelovanje, na rad i brigu o oboljelima, edukativnim, stručnim predavanjima i sastancima, koje smo organizirale uz pomoć stručnih osoba iz Zavoda za javno zdravstvo Dubrovačko – neretvanske županije i psihologa. Kao jedina registrirana udruga za brigu i rad s oboljelima u našoj Županiji, obišli smo sva mjesta i gradove, sve do Korčule i Lastova, ali i gradove poput Makarske u Splitsko – dalmatinskoj županiji”. Sve radimo volonterski i jedina, ali vrijedna, nagrada nam je osmjeh i zadovoljstvo žena kojima smo pomogle. U posljednje dvije godine zbog korone smo malo posustale u radu”, rekla je čelnica pločankih “Vita” Nataša Peko.

Predsjednica “Vite” ujedno je uputila apel sugrađankama da se pridruže udruzi i pomognu u njenom radu i daljnjem djelovanju. “Na žalost, starimo, i sve nas je manje aktivnih, a od nekih smo se članica oprostile. Sada se nalazimo u nezavidnom položaju i zato pozivamo žene koje su oboljele, kao i druge, da nam se pridruže kao volonterke. Do sada odaziv nije bio na očekivanom nivou, ali iskreno se nadamo da će se to promijeniti, jer bi nam bilo preteško kada udruga ne bi nastavila djelovati”, rekla je Nataša Peko, zahvalivši se svima koji su im kroz protekla dva i pol desetljeća pružali podršku i izrazivši nadu da će “Vita” Ploče još dugo djelovati.

Skromno i samozatajno pločanska “Vita” – Udruga za solidarnost među sugrađanima – žene oboljele od raka dojke, proslavila je izniman jubilej, 25 godina djelovanja!

”Vite” su osnovane 5. veljače danas pomalo davne 1998. godine i od tada su organizirale bezbroj manifestacija i događaja kako bi ispunile svoju misiju. Dugogodišnja predsjednica Udruge je Nataša Peko, poznata kao dobar organizator i komunikator, a kao invalid s dosta slobodnog vremena, snage i volje posvetila se u potpunosti radu Udruge, uz pomoć članica.

Građani u ružičastoj vrpci

Od Grada Ploča dobile i renovirane primjeren prostor. Nabavile su aparat za limfnu drenažu, iz Zagreba je stigao prvi mamograf, izrađivale su razne suvenire, bile su redoviti gosti na svim važnijim događanjima…

Nakon nekog vremena postale su članice Europa Donna Hrvatske i intenzivirale aktivnosti vezane za podizanje svijesti žena o raku dojke, edukaciji i ranom otkrivanju raka. U realizaciji projekata, potrebnu pomoć imale su od Grada Ploča i Dubrovačko – neretvanske županija, ali predsjednica pločanskih “Vita” posebno će istaknuti i dr. Ankicu Džono – Boban i nekadašnju premijerku Jadranku Kosor.

Godine 2010. sa Šimom Strikomanom snimile su na pločanskoj rivi milenijsku fotografiju “Građani u ružičastoj vrpci”, bila je to prva fotografija na tu temu u Hrvatskoj. Dvije godine nakon toga, u Športskoj dvorani u Pločama organizirale su veliki koncert i prikupljena sredstva uplatile su na poseban račun za nabavku linearnog akceleratora, koji, na žalost, ni do danas nije nabavljen. Godine 2015. Ministarstvo zdravlja odobrilo im je projekt za fizikalne terapije – limfna drenaža, koji se održavao dvije godine s osposobljenom osobom.

”Ponosne smo na dosadašnje uspješno djelovanje, na rad i brigu o oboljelima, edukativnim, stručnim predavanjima i sastancima, koje smo organizirale uz pomoć stručnih osoba iz Zavoda za javno zdravstvo Dubrovačko – neretvanske županije i psihologa. Kao jedina registrirana udruga za brigu i rad s oboljelima u našoj Županiji, obišli smo sva mjesta i gradove, sve do Korčule i Lastova, ali i gradove poput Makarske u Splitsko – dalmatinskoj županiji”. Sve radimo volonterski i jedina, ali vrijedna, nagrada nam je osmjeh i zadovoljstvo žena kojima smo pomogle. U posljednje dvije godine zbog korone smo malo posustale u radu”, rekla je čelnica pločankih “Vita” Nataša Peko.

Predsjednica “Vite” ujedno je uputila apel sugrađankama da se pridruže udruzi i pomognu u njenom radu i daljnjem djelovanju. “Na žalost, starimo, i sve nas je manje aktivnih, a od nekih smo se članica oprostile. Sada se nalazimo u nezavidnom položaju i zato pozivamo žene koje su oboljele, kao i druge, da nam se pridruže kao volonterke. Do sada odaziv nije bio na očekivanom nivou, ali iskreno se nadamo da će se to promijeniti, jer bi nam bilo preteško kada udruga ne bi nastavila djelovati”, rekla je Nataša Peko, zahvalivši se svima koji su im kroz protekla dva i pol desetljeća pružali podršku i izrazivši nadu da će “Vita” Ploče još dugo djelovati.
