Konačno kreće dugo očekivana sanacija odlagališta otpada Lovornik u Baćini pokraj Ploča. Naime, Grad Ploče pokrenuo je postupak javne nabave za izvođenje radova na sanaciji tog deponija. Procijenjena vrijednost nabave nešto je veća od 7,2 milijuna kuna, a s PDV-om devet milijuna kuna. Sukladno potpisanim ugovorima, 60 posto sanacije financirat će Fond za zaštitu okoliša i energetsku učinkovitost, dok će preostalih 40 posto, u dogovorenim omjerima, financirati Grad Ploče i Općine Gradac i Slivno, koje koriste Lovornik.

Boje se pojavljivala u Mindelu

Početak radova očekuje se u prvom kvartalu iduće godine, a nakon njenog završetka Lovornik će biti u mogućnosti prihvaćati otpad do popunjenja kapaciteta ili otvaranja županijskog Centra za gospodarenje otpadom Lučino razdolje. Lovornik se koristi za odlaganje otpada od 1970. godine. Lokaciju odlagališta čine dvije spojene vrtače na dnu kojih se nalazi crvenica, a njime upravlja javna komunalna tvrtka Komunalno održavanje. Ukupna površina Lovornika iznosi 3,6 hektara. Inače, odlagalište otpada u Baćini nalazi se na vrlo osjetljivom području. Stacionirano je na krškom, propusnom tlu, a u njegovoj blizini nalaze se poznata Baćinska jezera, turistička destinacija koju svake godine posjećuje sve veći broj turista iz svih krajeva svijeta. Lokalni ekološki aktivisti već su do sada alarmirali javnost kako su stručnjaci prije nekoliko godina na raznim lokacijama blizu Lovornika puštali boju, koja bi se nakon nepunih pet dana pojavljivala u Mindelu, jednom od Baćinskih jezera, koja su, uz sve to, zaštićena i Naturom 2000. Posebno dramatična situacija bila je 2006. godine, kada je Lovorniku izbio požar koji je ugašen nakon velikih napora gasitelja i lokalnog stanovništva.

Odluka Gradskog vijeća

Osim toga, Baćinska jezera su povezana s vodocrpilištem Klokun, koje vodom opskrbljuje Grad Ploče i Općinu Gradac, a tijekom turističke sezone to je 30-ak tisuća ljudi. No, emocije su se zbog Lovornika posebno uskovitlale prije dvije godine, nakon što je Dinamikom i redoslijedom zatvaranja odlagališta neopasnog otpada na području RH, Ministarstva zaštite okoliša, predviđeno da se otpad iz Dubrovnika i Metkovića, nakon zatvaranja tamošnjih odlagališta, odvozi u Baćinu sve do izgradnje Županijskoga centra za odlaganje otpada, projekta koji je daleko od realizacije. Lokalna javnost zbog toga je prozivala SDP-ovog pločanskog gradonačelnik Mišu Krstičevića i HDZ-ovog resornog ministra, inače Pločanina Tomislava Ćorića, za koje se pretpostavljalo da su zajednički dogovorili taj posao. Digle su se tada brojne ekološke i druge udruge, zaredale su se javne tribine, a Gradsko vijeće Grada Ploča se jasno i jednoglasno očitovalo o protivljenju dovoženja otpada u Baćinu s područja drugih jedinica lokalne samouprave.

Konačno kreće dugo očekivana sanacija odlagališta otpada Lovornik u Baćini pokraj Ploča. Naime, Grad Ploče pokrenuo je postupak javne nabave za izvođenje radova na sanaciji tog deponija. Procijenjena vrijednost nabave nešto je veća od 7,2 milijuna kuna, a s PDV-om devet milijuna kuna. Sukladno potpisanim ugovorima, 60 posto sanacije financirat će Fond za zaštitu okoliša i energetsku učinkovitost, dok će preostalih 40 posto, u dogovorenim omjerima, financirati Grad Ploče i Općine Gradac i Slivno, koje koriste Lovornik.

Boje se pojavljivala u Mindelu

Početak radova očekuje se u prvom kvartalu iduće godine, a nakon njenog završetka Lovornik će biti u mogućnosti prihvaćati otpad do popunjenja kapaciteta ili otvaranja županijskog Centra za gospodarenje otpadom Lučino razdolje. Lovornik se koristi za odlaganje otpada od 1970. godine. Lokaciju odlagališta čine dvije spojene vrtače na dnu kojih se nalazi crvenica, a njime upravlja javna komunalna tvrtka Komunalno održavanje. Ukupna površina Lovornika iznosi 3,6 hektara. Inače, odlagalište otpada u Baćini nalazi se na vrlo osjetljivom području. Stacionirano je na krškom, propusnom tlu, a u njegovoj blizini nalaze se poznata Baćinska jezera, turistička destinacija koju svake godine posjećuje sve veći broj turista iz svih krajeva svijeta. Lokalni ekološki aktivisti već su do sada alarmirali javnost kako su stručnjaci prije nekoliko godina na raznim lokacijama blizu Lovornika puštali boju, koja bi se nakon nepunih pet dana pojavljivala u Mindelu, jednom od Baćinskih jezera, koja su, uz sve to, zaštićena i Naturom 2000. Posebno dramatična situacija bila je 2006. godine, kada je Lovorniku izbio požar koji je ugašen nakon velikih napora gasitelja i lokalnog stanovništva.

Odluka Gradskog vijeća

Osim toga, Baćinska jezera su povezana s vodocrpilištem Klokun, koje vodom opskrbljuje Grad Ploče i Općinu Gradac, a tijekom turističke sezone to je 30-ak tisuća ljudi. No, emocije su se zbog Lovornika posebno uskovitlale prije dvije godine, nakon što je Dinamikom i redoslijedom zatvaranja odlagališta neopasnog otpada na području RH, Ministarstva zaštite okoliša, predviđeno da se otpad iz Dubrovnika i Metkovića, nakon zatvaranja tamošnjih odlagališta, odvozi u Baćinu sve do izgradnje Županijskoga centra za odlaganje otpada, projekta koji je daleko od realizacije. Lokalna javnost zbog toga je prozivala SDP-ovog pločanskog gradonačelnik Mišu Krstičevića i HDZ-ovog resornog ministra, inače Pločanina Tomislava Ćorića, za koje se pretpostavljalo da su zajednički dogovorili taj posao. Digle su se tada brojne ekološke i druge udruge, zaredale su se javne tribine, a Gradsko vijeće Grada Ploča se jasno i jednoglasno očitovalo o protivljenju dovoženja otpada u Baćinu s područja drugih jedinica lokalne samouprave.

Lovornik će prihvaćati otpad do otvorenja Lučina razdolja

Konačno kreće dugo očekivana sanacija odlagališta otpada Lovornik u Baćini pokraj Ploča. Naime, Grad Ploče pokrenuo je postupak javne nabave za izvođenje radova na sanaciji tog deponija. Procijenjena vrijednost nabave nešto je veća od 7,2 milijuna kuna, a s PDV-om devet milijuna kuna. Sukladno potpisanim ugovorima, 60 posto sanacije financirat će Fond za zaštitu okoliša i energetsku učinkovitost, dok će preostalih 40 posto, u dogovorenim omjerima, financirati Grad Ploče i Općine Gradac i Slivno, koje koriste Lovornik.

Boje se pojavljivala u Mindelu

Početak radova očekuje se u prvom kvartalu iduće godine, a nakon njenog završetka Lovornik će biti u mogućnosti prihvaćati otpad do popunjenja kapaciteta ili otvaranja županijskog Centra za gospodarenje otpadom Lučino razdolje. Lovornik se koristi za odlaganje otpada od 1970. godine. Lokaciju odlagališta čine dvije spojene vrtače na dnu kojih se nalazi crvenica, a njime upravlja javna komunalna tvrtka Komunalno održavanje. Ukupna površina Lovornika iznosi 3,6 hektara. Inače, odlagalište otpada u Baćini nalazi se na vrlo osjetljivom području. Stacionirano je na krškom, propusnom tlu, a u njegovoj blizini nalaze se poznata Baćinska jezera, turistička destinacija koju svake godine posjećuje sve veći broj turista iz svih krajeva svijeta. Lokalni ekološki aktivisti već su do sada alarmirali javnost kako su stručnjaci prije nekoliko godina na raznim lokacijama blizu Lovornika puštali boju, koja bi se nakon nepunih pet dana pojavljivala u Mindelu, jednom od Baćinskih jezera, koja su, uz sve to, zaštićena i Naturom 2000. Posebno dramatična situacija bila je 2006. godine, kada je Lovorniku izbio požar koji je ugašen nakon velikih napora gasitelja i lokalnog stanovništva.

Osim toga, Baćinska jezera su povezana s vodocrpilištem Klokun, koje vodom opskrbljuje Grad Ploče i Općinu Gradac, a tijekom turističke sezone to je 30-ak tisuća ljudi.
