Dubrovčani su jučer proslavili 1049. festu Sv. Vlaha na kojoj su, prvi put službeno, sudjelovali korčulanski moreškanti. Kako doznajemo iz Hrvatskog glazbenog društva Sv. Cecilija iz Korčule, moreškante je pozvala Dubrovačka biskupija, a njihova je uloga bila tijekom procesije nositi baldahin, odmah nakon moći parca.

„Biskupija nas je pozvala jer ove godine slavimo dvije važne obljetnice, 450. obljetnicu obrane Korčule od napada Turaka i 30. obljetnicu od osnivanja društva. Počašćeni smo pozivom, drago nam je što smo pomogli uveličati glasovitu dubrovačku tradiciju. Kako su mi rekli moreškanti, jako puno ljudi se slikalo s njima, jedva su uspjeli pobjeći iz Straduna“, zadovoljno je ispričao predsjednik HGD-a Sv. Cecilija Velebit Veršić.

Na tradicionalnoj procesiji sudjelovala su četiri bijela i četiri crna moreškanta, a Korčulani su dobili i pohvalu, najbolje su nosili baldahin u posljednjih desetak godina.

„Upravitelj procesije je rekao da smo najbolje nosili baldahin otkad on upravlja procesijom. Zaista jedan lijepi osjećaj, ponosni smo što smo bili dio tradicije duge 1049 godina“, poručio je moreškant Ivan Fabris koji je, također na poziv biskupa, tijekom mise otjpevao i poslanicu na starom, korčulanskom napjevu.

Dubrovčani su jučer proslavili 1049. festu Sv. Vlaha na kojoj su, prvi put službeno, sudjelovali korčulanski moreškanti. Kako doznajemo iz Hrvatskog glazbenog društva Sv. Cecilija iz Korčule, moreškante je pozvala Dubrovačka biskupija, a njihova je uloga bila tijekom procesije nositi baldahin, odmah nakon moći parca.

„Biskupija nas je pozvala jer ove godine slavimo dvije važne obljetnice, 450. obljetnicu obrane Korčule od napada Turaka i 30. obljetnicu od osnivanja društva. Počašćeni smo pozivom, drago nam je što smo pomogli uveličati glasovitu dubrovačku tradiciju. Kako su mi rekli moreškanti, jako puno ljudi se slikalo s njima, jedva su uspjeli pobjeći iz Straduna“, zadovoljno je ispričao predsjednik HGD-a Sv. Cecilija Velebit Veršić.

Na tradicionalnoj procesiji sudjelovala su četiri bijela i četiri crna moreškanta, a Korčulani su dobili i pohvalu, najbolje su nosili baldahin u posljednjih desetak godina.

„Upravitelj procesije je rekao da smo najbolje nosili baldahin otkad on upravlja procesijom. Zaista jedan lijepi osjećaj, ponosni smo što smo bili dio tradicije duge 1049 godina“, poručio je moreškant Ivan Fabris koji je, također na poziv biskupa, tijekom mise otjpevao i poslanicu na starom, korčulanskom napjevu.
