Ove godine Zavod za povijesne znanosti HAZU u Dubrovniku obilježava jednu impresivnu obljetnicu: pet stotina godina od završetka izgradnje Sorkočevićeva ljetnikovca u kojemu je smješten.

Iz Zavoda podsjećaju kako je bogati dubrovački trgovac i vlastelin Petar Sorgo 1521. godine završio svoj ljetnikovac u Lapadu, izgradivši ga u prepoznatljivo dubrovačkom miješanom gotičko-renesansnom stilu. "Sorkočevićev ljetnikovac ne samo što je jedan od najljepših primjera dubrovačke ladanjske arhitekture, nego je, jednako tako, i jedan od najbolje sačuvanih. I dandanas ljetnikovac je uronjen u prekrasan vrt u kojemu se također nalaze kapelica, ribnjak, orsan i lođa.

Pola milenija ovog arhitektonskog dragulja trebalo je biti obilježeno u organizaciji Zavoda HAZU, koji je u ljetnikovcu smješten od 1949. godine, kao posljednji u dugom nizu njegovih stanara. Taj važan datum trebao je biti obilježen kroz predavanja znanstvenika iz Zavoda i vođene ture po ljetnikovcu koji bi se tom prigodom otvorio za javnost. Sve navedeno bilo je uvelike pripremljeno već za ovaj rujan, no zbog epidemiološke situacije odlučeno je da se ipak odgodi za iduću godinu. U međuvremenu, zainteresiranoj javnosti kao prigodan poklon nudimo klasičnu studiju o Sorkočevićevom ljetnikovcu i kulturi dubrovačkog ladanja, čiji je autor poznati povjesničar umjetnosti i nekadašnji ravnatelj Zavoda Cvito Fisković. Knjiga je prvi puta tiskana u izdanju Zavoda daleke 1966., a sada je na stranicama Zavoda u digitalnom obliku predajemo svim ljubiteljima kulturne baštine našega Grada", navode iz Zavoda.

Ove godine Zavod za povijesne znanosti HAZU u Dubrovniku obilježava jednu impresivnu obljetnicu: pet stotina godina od završetka izgradnje Sorkočevićeva ljetnikovca u kojemu je smješten.

Iz Zavoda podsjećaju kako je bogati dubrovački trgovac i vlastelin Petar Sorgo 1521. godine završio svoj ljetnikovac u Lapadu, izgradivši ga u prepoznatljivo dubrovačkom miješanom gotičko-renesansnom stilu. "Sorkočevićev ljetnikovac ne samo što je jedan od najljepših primjera dubrovačke ladanjske arhitekture, nego je, jednako tako, i jedan od najbolje sačuvanih. I dandanas ljetnikovac je uronjen u prekrasan vrt u kojemu se također nalaze kapelica, ribnjak, orsan i lođa.

Pola milenija ovog arhitektonskog dragulja trebalo je biti obilježeno u organizaciji Zavoda HAZU, koji je u ljetnikovcu smješten od 1949. godine, kao posljednji u dugom nizu njegovih stanara. Taj važan datum trebao je biti obilježen kroz predavanja znanstvenika iz Zavoda i vođene ture po ljetnikovcu koji bi se tom prigodom otvorio za javnost. Sve navedeno bilo je uvelike pripremljeno već za ovaj rujan, no zbog epidemiološke situacije odlučeno je da se ipak odgodi za iduću godinu. U međuvremenu, zainteresiranoj javnosti kao prigodan poklon nudimo klasičnu studiju o Sorkočevićevom ljetnikovcu i kulturi dubrovačkog ladanja, čiji je autor poznati povjesničar umjetnosti i nekadašnji ravnatelj Zavoda Cvito Fisković. Knjiga je prvi puta tiskana u izdanju Zavoda daleke 1966., a sada je na stranicama Zavoda u digitalnom obliku predajemo svim ljubiteljima kulturne baštine našega Grada", navode iz Zavoda.

Zavod za povijesne znanosti slavi 500 godina Sorkočevićeva ljetnikovca u Lapadu

Ove godine Zavod za povijesne znanosti HAZU u Dubrovniku obilježava jednu impresivnu obljetnicu: pet stotina godina od završetka izgradnje Sorkočevićeva ljetnikovca u kojemu je smješten.

Iz Zavoda podsjećaju kako je bogati dubrovački trgovac i vlastelin Petar Sorgo 1521. godine završio svoj ljetnikovac u Lapadu, izgradivši ga u prepoznatljivo dubrovačkom miješanom gotičko-renesansnom stilu. "Sorkočevićev ljetnikovac ne samo što je jedan od najljepših primjera dubrovačke ladanjske arhitekture, nego je, jednako tako, i jedan od najbolje sačuvanih. I dandanas ljetnikovac je uronjen u prekrasan vrt u kojemu se također nalaze kapelica, ribnjak, orsan i lođa.

Pola milenija ovog arhitektonskog dragulja trebalo je biti obilježeno u organizaciji Zavoda HAZU, koji je u ljetnikovcu smješten od 1949. godine, kao posljednji u dugom nizu njegovih stanara. Taj važan datum trebao je biti obilježen kroz predavanja znanstvenika iz Zavoda i vođene ture po ljetnikovcu koji bi se tom prigodom otvorio za javnost. Sve navedeno bilo je uvelike pripremljeno već za ovaj rujan, no zbog epidemiološke situacije odlučeno je da se ipak odgodi za iduću godinu. U međuvremenu, zainteresiranoj javnosti kao prigodan poklon nudimo klasičnu studiju o Sorkočevićevom ljetnikovcu i kulturi dubrovačkog ladanja, čiji je autor poznati povjesničar umjetnosti i nekadašnji ravnatelj Zavoda Cvito Fisković. Knjiga je prvi puta tiskana u izdanju Zavoda daleke 1966., a sada je na stranicama Zavoda u digitalnom obliku predajemo svim ljubiteljima kulturne baštine našega Grada", navode iz Zavoda.
