Sad bi svi da sve znaju. Ne može, tj. ne smijem sve reći. Iskreno, i ne znam sve. Tek ću u ponedjeljak, dan prije otvaranja Pelješkog mosta, kad je generalna proba, doznati što je meni sve činiti, ali, glavno se zna. Rimčeva Nevera će krenut s jedne strane, ja s druge – kaže Niko Pulić, legendarni hrvatski automobilist, 'Leteći Konavljanin', koji danas sa sinom Ivanom priprema odlazak ovaj vikend na Grobnik, na kružnu utrku. Bude li njegov nasljednik vozio tamo, ide i on, a onda će se u ponedjeljak spustiti 'odozgo' do Pelješkog mosta, na generalnu probu. U suprotnom, krenut će na generalnu probu 'odozdo', iz Dubrovnika.

- Čast mi je što ću biti dijelom povijesti. Napokon će naša Hrvatska biti spojena. Neki moji najdraži, koji su također priželjkivali ovaj povijesni trenutak, nažalost, nisu ga dočekali. Zbog toga se sad miješaju emocije.

Znao je Niko Pulić i po šest puta tjedno proći kroz Neum, što kamionom, što autobusom, što autom. 

- Kad je most počeo 'izranjati' iz mora, vazda kad bih prošao Klek, znao sam stati sa strane te pogledati kako napreduju radovi. Imam dosta slika. Moram sad to sve pronaći, te posložiti. Uvijek bih slikao s gotovo iste pozicije. 

Neće mu nedostajati prolazak kroz Neum, kaže, neće više morati misliti je li gužva na granici ili ne. 

- Koliko sam puta 'zaglavio', ne pitaj. I svaki put, i kad još nije bilo govora o mostu, znao sam reći: Nema ovdje sreće dok se ne izgradi most!

Rimčeva Nevera je hrvatski proizvod, a kaže Pulić kako je to i njegov Smart. 

- Inženjer Zlatko Kvočić, koliko sam samo s njim prošao, složio je moj Smart. Zadnje dvije godine s njim vozim utrke. Još nije u potpunosti završen, ali juri. S njim ću preko mosta. Imam bit u ponedjeljak navečer na mostu, imat ćemo dvije probe. Tad će nam Krešimir Dolenčić otkriti što sve imamo napraviti. U utorak je povijesni dan. Nije važno s koje ću strane krenuti, nakon što se otvori most, nema više granice, nema više čekanja, ići ćemo preko njega. Nakon toliko godina čekanja...

Kaže Pulić kako ne zna je li u scenariju to piše, ali kako mu je želja 'potpisati' se na most. 

- Radit će prednje kočnice, a zadnje gume će se vrtjeti. Smart ima zadnji pogon, te će biti lakše to napraviti. Hoću li učiniti tako jedan ili dva kruga, 'zapaliti' gume, bit će kako me ponese snaga vozila... 

Pulić je bio kad se 2002. godine otvarao most preko Rijeke dubrovačke.

- Sjećam se kad je dundo Pero Glumac prošao prvi na bijelom konju preko Mosta doktora Franje Tuđmana, e ja sam bio s ostalima iza njega, gost. Sad će dundo Niko Pulić na svom 'konju' prvi, a ostali za njim... Ma, presretan sam, kao i svi, što ćemo napokon preko mosta, što ćemo se napokon biti spojeni. Povijesni trenutak. Koliko smo ga samo čekali! – istaknuo je trostruki europski prvak na brdskim stazama.

Sad bi svi da sve znaju. Ne može, tj. ne smijem sve reći. Iskreno, i ne znam sve. Tek ću u ponedjeljak, dan prije otvaranja Pelješkog mosta, kad je generalna proba, doznati što je meni sve činiti, ali, glavno se zna. Rimčeva Nevera će krenut s jedne strane, ja s druge – kaže Niko Pulić, legendarni hrvatski automobilist, 'Leteći Konavljanin', koji danas sa sinom Ivanom priprema odlazak ovaj vikend na Grobnik, na kružnu utrku. Bude li njegov nasljednik vozio tamo, ide i on, a onda će se u ponedjeljak spustiti 'odozgo' do Pelješkog mosta, na generalnu probu. U suprotnom, krenut će na generalnu probu 'odozdo', iz Dubrovnika.

- Čast mi je što ću biti dijelom povijesti. Napokon će naša Hrvatska biti spojena. Neki moji najdraži, koji su također priželjkivali ovaj povijesni trenutak, nažalost, nisu ga dočekali. Zbog toga se sad miješaju emocije.

Znao je Niko Pulić i po šest puta tjedno proći kroz Neum, što kamionom, što autobusom, što autom. 

- Kad je most počeo 'izranjati' iz mora, vazda kad bih prošao Klek, znao sam stati sa strane te pogledati kako napreduju radovi. Imam dosta slika. Moram sad to sve pronaći, te posložiti. Uvijek bih slikao s gotovo iste pozicije. 

Neće mu nedostajati prolazak kroz Neum, kaže, neće više morati misliti je li gužva na granici ili ne. 

- Koliko sam puta 'zaglavio', ne pitaj. I svaki put, i kad još nije bilo govora o mostu, znao sam reći: Nema ovdje sreće dok se ne izgradi most!

Rimčeva Nevera je hrvatski proizvod, a kaže Pulić kako je to i njegov Smart. 

- Inženjer Zlatko Kvočić, koliko sam samo s njim prošao, složio je moj Smart. Zadnje dvije godine s njim vozim utrke. Još nije u potpunosti završen, ali juri. S njim ću preko mosta. Imam bit u ponedjeljak navečer na mostu, imat ćemo dvije probe. Tad će nam Krešimir Dolenčić otkriti što sve imamo napraviti. U utorak je povijesni dan. Nije važno s koje ću strane krenuti, nakon što se otvori most, nema više granice, nema više čekanja, ići ćemo preko njega. Nakon toliko godina čekanja...

Kaže Pulić kako ne zna je li u scenariju to piše, ali kako mu je želja 'potpisati' se na most. 

- Radit će prednje kočnice, a zadnje gume će se vrtjeti. Smart ima zadnji pogon, te će biti lakše to napraviti. Hoću li učiniti tako jedan ili dva kruga, 'zapaliti' gume, bit će kako me ponese snaga vozila... 

Pulić je bio kad se 2002. godine otvarao most preko Rijeke dubrovačke.

- Sjećam se kad je dundo Pero Glumac prošao prvi na bijelom konju preko Mosta doktora Franje Tuđmana, e ja sam bio s ostalima iza njega, gost. Sad će dundo Niko Pulić na svom 'konju' prvi, a ostali za njim... Ma, presretan sam, kao i svi, što ćemo napokon preko mosta, što ćemo se napokon biti spojeni. Povijesni trenutak. Koliko smo ga samo čekali! – istaknuo je trostruki europski prvak na brdskim stazama.
