Hrvatsko-francusko društvo “Francuska alijansa Dubrovnik“ organiziralo je 19. veljače 2024. u Saloči od zrcala, izložbu i predavanje autorice Sanje Prijatelj pod nazivom „Priča o markizu de Piennesu”. Ovo je prvo događanje u okviru programa u organizaciji Francuske alijanse Dubrovnik u suradnji s Pučkim otvorenim učilištem iz Vrbovca i Dubrovačkim knjižnicama.

Markiz de Piennes bio je francuski političar i diplomat, dobrotvor i mecena rođen je u francuskom Perieru 20. veljače 1825. godine. U Vrbovec se doselio 1879. godine kupivši dvorac Patačić u kojem je stanovao te posjed na Poljanskom lugu gdje se bavio stočarstvom i proizvodnjom sira.

Izložbu „Priča o markizu de Piennesu“ otvorila je autorica Sanja Prijatelj, ravnateljica vrbovečkog Pučkog otvorenog učilišta. Kroz panoe na hrvatskom i francuskom jeziku, izložba govori o markizovu životu u Francuskoj te razlozima za doseljenje u vrbovečki kraj gdje je pronašao i posljednje počivalište. Izložba je nastala u suradnji s HAZU (Hrvatskom akademijom znanosti i umjetnosti) i Francuskom alijansom Zagreb.

- Vrbovec je tada bio jedan mali gradić, malo selo unutar Austro-Ugarske monarhije, a vjerojatno mu se Vrbovec svidio, s obzirom na to da je markiz živio u svom dvorcu i bavio se poljoprivredom, imao je i političke ambicije, bio je pravnik po struci, imao je razgranate političke i poslovne veze. U centru tog našeg današnjeg grada i danas postoji ta zgrada u kojoj je on živio. Svidio mu se taj dvorac i bilo je jako puno zemlje gdje se mogao baviti poljoprivredom. Ovdje mu je bilo zgodno jer smo mi bili bogati drvom i dobro prometno povezani željeznicom prema ostalim gradovima. Bavio se i bankarskim poslovima i povremeno se vraćao u Francusku gdje mu je ostao živjeti sin jedinac i majka u stanu u Parizu. Postoje zapisi o tome. Kad mu je umro sin jedinac 1903. koji je pokopan u Francuskoj, markiz de Piennes je ostao sa suprugom živjeti u Vrbovcu. Godinu iza umire i supruga te on ostaje sam tu živjeti. Počeo je tada pisati Hrvatsko-francusko-njemački rječnik. Nažalost, to djelo nije sačuvano. Oporučno je donirao Strossmayerovoj galeriji starih majstora 32 vrijedna umjetnička djela od kojih je najpoznatiji portret Madame Récamier. Financijski je pomagao siromašne učenike Pučke škole Vrbovec. Markiz de Piennes je umro u Vrbovcu 1911. godine te je pokopan u obiteljskoj grobnici na gradskom groblju, kako mu je i bila želja – objasnila je autorica predavanja, ravnateljica vrbovečkog Pučkog otvorenog učilišta, Sanja Prijatelj. 

Izložba se može pogledati do 7. ožujka. Francuska alijansa Dubrovnik ove godine obilježava 25 godina svoga postojanja, tradicionalno u mjesecu ožujku priprema raznovrstan program pod nazivom Dani frankofonije u Dubrovniku.

Hrvatsko-francusko društvo “Francuska alijansa Dubrovnik“ organiziralo je 19. veljače 2024. u Saloči od zrcala, izložbu i predavanje autorice Sanje Prijatelj pod nazivom „Priča o markizu de Piennesu”. Ovo je prvo događanje u okviru programa u organizaciji Francuske alijanse Dubrovnik u suradnji s Pučkim otvorenim učilištem iz Vrbovca i Dubrovačkim knjižnicama.

Markiz de Piennes bio je francuski političar i diplomat, dobrotvor i mecena rođen je u francuskom Perieru 20. veljače 1825. godine. U Vrbovec se doselio 1879. godine kupivši dvorac Patačić u kojem je stanovao te posjed na Poljanskom lugu gdje se bavio stočarstvom i proizvodnjom sira.

Izložbu „Priča o markizu de Piennesu“ otvorila je autorica Sanja Prijatelj, ravnateljica vrbovečkog Pučkog otvorenog učilišta. Kroz panoe na hrvatskom i francuskom jeziku, izložba govori o markizovu životu u Francuskoj te razlozima za doseljenje u vrbovečki kraj gdje je pronašao i posljednje počivalište. Izložba je nastala u suradnji s HAZU (Hrvatskom akademijom znanosti i umjetnosti) i Francuskom alijansom Zagreb.

- Vrbovec je tada bio jedan mali gradić, malo selo unutar Austro-Ugarske monarhije, a vjerojatno mu se Vrbovec svidio, s obzirom na to da je markiz živio u svom dvorcu i bavio se poljoprivredom, imao je i političke ambicije, bio je pravnik po struci, imao je razgranate političke i poslovne veze. U centru tog našeg današnjeg grada i danas postoji ta zgrada u kojoj je on živio. Svidio mu se taj dvorac i bilo je jako puno zemlje gdje se mogao baviti poljoprivredom. Ovdje mu je bilo zgodno jer smo mi bili bogati drvom i dobro prometno povezani željeznicom prema ostalim gradovima. Bavio se i bankarskim poslovima i povremeno se vraćao u Francusku gdje mu je ostao živjeti sin jedinac i majka u stanu u Parizu. Postoje zapisi o tome. Kad mu je umro sin jedinac 1903. koji je pokopan u Francuskoj, markiz de Piennes je ostao sa suprugom živjeti u Vrbovcu. Godinu iza umire i supruga te on ostaje sam tu živjeti. Počeo je tada pisati Hrvatsko-francusko-njemački rječnik. Nažalost, to djelo nije sačuvano. Oporučno je donirao Strossmayerovoj galeriji starih majstora 32 vrijedna umjetnička djela od kojih je najpoznatiji portret Madame Récamier. Financijski je pomagao siromašne učenike Pučke škole Vrbovec. Markiz de Piennes je umro u Vrbovcu 1911. godine te je pokopan u obiteljskoj grobnici na gradskom groblju, kako mu je i bila želja – objasnila je autorica predavanja, ravnateljica vrbovečkog Pučkog otvorenog učilišta, Sanja Prijatelj. 

Izložba se može pogledati do 7. ožujka. Francuska alijansa Dubrovnik ove godine obilježava 25 godina svoga postojanja, tradicionalno u mjesecu ožujku priprema raznovrstan program pod nazivom Dani frankofonije u Dubrovniku.

Kad mu je umro sin jedinac 1903. koji je pokopan u Francuskoj, markiz de Piennes je ostao sa suprugom živjeti u Vrbovcu. Godinu iza umire i supruga te on ostaje sam tu živjeti. Počeo je tada pisati Hrvatsko-francusko-njemački rječnik. Nažalost, to djelo nije sačuvano. Oporučno je donirao Strossmayerovoj galeriji starih majstora 32 vrijedna umjetnička djela od kojih je najpoznatiji portret Madame Récamier. Financijski je pomagao siromašne učenike Pučke škole Vrbovec. Markiz de Piennes je umro u Vrbovcu 1911. godine te je pokopan u obiteljskoj grobnici na gradskom groblju, kako mu je i bila želja – objasnila je autorica predavanja, ravnateljica vrbovečkog Pučkog otvorenog učilišta, Sanja Prijatelj. 

Izložba se može pogledati do 7. ožujka. Francuska alijansa Dubrovnik ove godine obilježava 25 godina svoga postojanja, tradicionalno u mjesecu ožujku priprema raznovrstan program pod nazivom Dani frankofonije u Dubrovniku.
