Bosnu i Hercegovinu pogodio je potres u subotu nešto prije 13 sati. Iako zasad nema informacija o jačini i epicentru, iz Sarajeva dolaze poruke: "Osjetilo se", "Kratko, ali jako, Sarajevo", "Prvo se čula buka, a onda je baš jako zaljuljalo".

Sarajevsko područje prije nekoliko dana zatresla su dva potres, jači je bio magnitude 4,2 po Richteru. Osim toga, šire dubrovačko područje su cijeli tjedan pogađali umjereno jaki potresi. Zadnji, jučerašnji je pogodio područje pored Mljeta jačinom 4,9 stupnjeva po Richteru. Prije toga, kažu podaci ESMC-a, tri su zatresla Pelješac i Neum – najjači je bio 3,8 stupnjeva - a potom je jutros jedan zatresao okolicu albanskog grada Elbasana 200 kilometara dalje, piše Jutarnji.

 

Seizmolozima je dobro poznata građa i tektonika Jadranske mikroploče i njenih aktivnih rubova. Upravo Dubrovnik leži na granici nekadašnje tzv. Adria ploče koja je nekada bila puno veća, a danas je raznim procesima ‘pojedena‘ i spala na veličinu Jadranskog mora. Dubrovačko područje trusno područje poznato je po snažnim potresima (najpoznatiji u 17. stoljeću uzrokovao je katastrofu i tsunami).

 

Što li se sada događa na tom području, je li došlo do aktivacije, buđenja Jadranske mikroploče, upitali smo zagrebačku seizmologinju Ines Ivančić. Ona kaže "nema nikakvog buđenja, sve je to uobičajeno".

- To područje u Jadranskom moru je jedno od seizmički najaktivnijih područja. Aktivnost tamo nije neobična, a kako su epicentri tipično duboko u moru, mogu se tek osjetiti na obali. Dakle, nema nikakvog buđenja, potresi su tamo uobičajeni, a ono što neprestano naglašavamo i ponavljamo jest da ih je ipak nemoguće predvidjeti", govori.

Seizmologinja nerado govori o mogućnosti velikog, razornog potresa koji bi slijedio seriju manjih. Spominje dubrovački potres iz 1667. godine, kao i stonski iz 1996. godine, oba preko 5 stupnjeva po Richteru, kao primjere mogućih jakih potresa.

- Imamo dosta podataka i dugu seizmološku tradiciju. Ono što sigurno znamo jest da će potresa biti, ali kojim intenzitetom teško je predviđati. Očekivano, nakon petrinjskog potresa svi su sada još uvijek jako osjetljivi na podrhtavanje pa i na potrese koji su dosta udaljeni od obale – zaključuje.

Bosnu i Hercegovinu pogodio je potres u subotu nešto prije 13 sati. Iako zasad nema informacija o jačini i epicentru, iz Sarajeva dolaze poruke: "Osjetilo se", "Kratko, ali jako, Sarajevo", "Prvo se čula buka, a onda je baš jako zaljuljalo".

Sarajevsko područje prije nekoliko dana zatresla su dva potres, jači je bio magnitude 4,2 po Richteru. Osim toga, šire dubrovačko područje su cijeli tjedan pogađali umjereno jaki potresi. Zadnji, jučerašnji je pogodio područje pored Mljeta jačinom 4,9 stupnjeva po Richteru. Prije toga, kažu podaci ESMC-a, tri su zatresla Pelješac i Neum – najjači je bio 3,8 stupnjeva - a potom je jutros jedan zatresao okolicu albanskog grada Elbasana 200 kilometara dalje, piše Jutarnji.

 

Seizmolozima je dobro poznata građa i tektonika Jadranske mikroploče i njenih aktivnih rubova. Upravo Dubrovnik leži na granici nekadašnje tzv. Adria ploče koja je nekada bila puno veća, a danas je raznim procesima ‘pojedena‘ i spala na veličinu Jadranskog mora. Dubrovačko područje trusno područje poznato je po snažnim potresima (najpoznatiji u 17. stoljeću uzrokovao je katastrofu i tsunami).

 

Što li se sada događa na tom području, je li došlo do aktivacije, buđenja Jadranske mikroploče, upitali smo zagrebačku seizmologinju Ines Ivančić. Ona kaže "nema nikakvog buđenja, sve je to uobičajeno".

- To područje u Jadranskom moru je jedno od seizmički najaktivnijih područja. Aktivnost tamo nije neobična, a kako su epicentri tipično duboko u moru, mogu se tek osjetiti na obali. Dakle, nema nikakvog buđenja, potresi su tamo uobičajeni, a ono što neprestano naglašavamo i ponavljamo jest da ih je ipak nemoguće predvidjeti", govori.

Seizmologinja nerado govori o mogućnosti velikog, razornog potresa koji bi slijedio seriju manjih. Spominje dubrovački potres iz 1667. godine, kao i stonski iz 1996. godine, oba preko 5 stupnjeva po Richteru, kao primjere mogućih jakih potresa.

- Imamo dosta podataka i dugu seizmološku tradiciju. Ono što sigurno znamo jest da će potresa biti, ali kojim intenzitetom teško je predviđati. Očekivano, nakon petrinjskog potresa svi su sada još uvijek jako osjetljivi na podrhtavanje pa i na potrese koji su dosta udaljeni od obale – zaključuje.

Potresi danima drmaju ‘Jadransku mikroploču‘, jesu li se i seizmolozi ustresli kao ostali?

Bosnu i Hercegovinu pogodio je potres u subotu nešto prije 13 sati. Iako zasad nema informacija o jačini i epicentru, iz Sarajeva dolaze poruke: "Osjetilo se", "Kratko, ali jako, Sarajevo", "Prvo se čula buka, a onda je baš jako zaljuljalo".

Sarajevsko područje prije nekoliko dana zatresla su dva potres, jači je bio magnitude 4,2 po Richteru. Osim toga, šire dubrovačko područje su cijeli tjedan pogađali umjereno jaki potresi. Zadnji, jučerašnji je pogodio područje pored Mljeta jačinom 4,9 stupnjeva po Richteru. Prije toga, kažu podaci ESMC-a, tri su zatresla Pelješac i Neum – najjači je bio 3,8 stupnjeva - a potom je jutros jedan zatresao okolicu albanskog grada Elbasana 200 kilometara dalje, piše Jutarnji.

 

Seizmolozima je dobro poznata građa i tektonika Jadranske mikroploče i njenih aktivnih rubova. Upravo Dubrovnik leži na granici nekadašnje tzv. Adria ploče koja je nekada bila puno veća, a danas je raznim procesima ‘pojedena‘ i spala na veličinu Jadranskog mora. Dubrovačko područje trusno područje poznato je po snažnim potresima (najpoznatiji u 17. stoljeću uzrokovao je katastrofu i tsunami).

 

Što li se sada događa na tom području, je li došlo do aktivacije, buđenja Jadranske mikroploče, upitali smo zagrebačku seizmologinju Ines Ivančić. Ona kaže "nema nikakvog buđenja, sve je to uobičajeno".

- To područje u Jadranskom moru je jedno od seizmički najaktivnijih područja. Aktivnost tamo nije neobična, a kako su epicentri tipično duboko u moru, mogu se tek osjetiti na obali. Dakle, nema nikakvog buđenja, potresi su tamo uobičajeni, a ono što neprestano naglašavamo i ponavljamo jest da ih je ipak nemoguće predvidjeti", govori.

Seizmologinja nerado govori o mogućnosti velikog, razornog potresa koji bi slijedio seriju manjih. Spominje dubrovački potres iz 1667. godine, kao i stonski iz 1996. godine, oba preko 5 stupnjeva po Richteru, kao primjere mogućih jakih potresa.

- Imamo dosta podataka i dugu seizmološku tradiciju. Ono što sigurno znamo jest da će potresa biti, ali kojim intenzitetom teško je predviđati. Očekivano, nakon petrinjskog potresa svi su sada još uvijek jako osjetljivi na podrhtavanje pa i na potrese koji su dosta udaljeni od obale – zaključuje.
