Završetkom ljetnog reda letenja, a time i turističke sezone, dubrovački turizam bilježi 20 posto više dolazaka i 9 posto više noćenja u odnosu na prethodnu godinu. Posebno se upravo listopad u kojem je ostvareno 338.563 noćenja, 9 posto više nego lani, pokazao izvrsnim. Prema podacima sustava za prijavu i odjavu turista eVisitor, zabilježeno je 116.914 dolazaka, odnosno 22% više nego lani. U listopadu je dobro prošla i nautika gdje je ostvareno 2.081 dolazaka i 21.548 noćenja s najviše gostiju iz SAD-a, Velike Britanije, Njemačke, Francuske te domaći gosti.
U Turističkoj zajednici Grada Dubrovnika potvrđuju kako su zadovoljni ostavrenim brojkama jer su one u skladu s planiranim.

- Ono što bismo istaknuli kao iznimno bitno su izvrsni rezultati s tržišta SAD-a i Australije te postupno povećanje daleko istočnih tržišta. U preostalom dijelu godine očekujemo također dobre rezultate, vjerujemo u odličnu popunjenost smještajnih kapaciteta za vrijeme trajanja Dubrovačkog zimskog festivala. Tu uglavnom računamo na goste iz regije, pa smo sukladno tome i pokrenuli promotivne aktivnosti na tržištima BIH, Srbije, Hrvatske i Slovenije. Uspjehu ove sezone najbrojniji gosti u Dubrovniku su tradicionalno bili iz Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva i SAD-a, a potom slijede Francuska, Njemačka, Hrvatska, Irska, Australija, Španjolska, Finska, Kanada…
Turistička zajednica, navodi njen direktor, svakako mora uložiti dodatne napore da bi povećali broj avio kompanija koje će letjeti za dubrovačku zračnu luku Ruđer Bošković i tijekom zime. - Dubrovnik zaslužuje imati zimsku sezonu, i svojim statusom na svjetskoj razini i svojim mogućnostima pružanja raznovrsne kulturne i sportske ponude i tijekom zime - ističe.

Završetkom ljetnog reda letenja, a time i turističke sezone, dubrovački turizam bilježi 20 posto više dolazaka i 9 posto više noćenja u odnosu na prethodnu godinu. Posebno se upravo listopad u kojem je ostvareno 338.563 noćenja, 9 posto više nego lani, pokazao izvrsnim. Prema podacima sustava za prijavu i odjavu turista eVisitor, zabilježeno je 116.914 dolazaka, odnosno 22% više nego lani. U listopadu je dobro prošla i nautika gdje je ostvareno 2.081 dolazaka i 21.548 noćenja s najviše gostiju iz SAD-a, Velike Britanije, Njemačke, Francuske te domaći gosti.
U Turističkoj zajednici Grada Dubrovnika potvrđuju kako su zadovoljni ostavrenim brojkama jer su one u skladu s planiranim.

- Ono što bismo istaknuli kao iznimno bitno su izvrsni rezultati s tržišta SAD-a i Australije te postupno povećanje daleko istočnih tržišta. U preostalom dijelu godine očekujemo također dobre rezultate, vjerujemo u odličnu popunjenost smještajnih kapaciteta za vrijeme trajanja Dubrovačkog zimskog festivala. Tu uglavnom računamo na goste iz regije, pa smo sukladno tome i pokrenuli promotivne aktivnosti na tržištima BIH, Srbije, Hrvatske i Slovenije. Uspjehu ove sezone najbrojniji gosti u Dubrovniku su tradicionalno bili iz Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva i SAD-a, a potom slijede Francuska, Njemačka, Hrvatska, Irska, Australija, Španjolska, Finska, Kanada…
Turistička zajednica, navodi njen direktor, svakako mora uložiti dodatne napore da bi povećali broj avio kompanija koje će letjeti za dubrovačku zračnu luku Ruđer Bošković i tijekom zime. - Dubrovnik zaslužuje imati zimsku sezonu, i svojim statusom na svjetskoj razini i svojim mogućnostima pružanja raznovrsne kulturne i sportske ponude i tijekom zime - ističe.

Pred turističkom zajednicom nastupi su na brojnim turističkim sajmovima od kojih je najpoznatiji World Travel Market upravo počeo u Londonu.
