Gigantske ekonomije Njemačke i Kine usporavaju. Razlozi usporavanja različite su prirode, ali sam podatak o snižavanju razine aktivnosti govori o smjeru kojim je već krenula globalna ekonomija.

Prema projekcijama ekonomista Deutsche banke, najveća europska ekonomija u 2023. smanjit će se za 1 posto, a kontrakcija gospodarskih aktivnosti u Njemačkoj počet će već u drugoj polovini ove godine kao posljedica problema u opskrbi energentima, posebice plinom. Upozorenje je to iz izvještaja analitičara Deutsche banke, koje predvodi Stefan Schneider, pripremljenog za klijente. Posebno je osjetljivo pitanje za Njemačku hoće li Rusija ponovno pokrenuti opskrbu plinom kroz Sjeverni tok 1 nakon obavljenog remonta, donosi Jutarnji list.

- Čini se razumnim pretpostaviti kako će Rusija nastaviti s disrupcijom ekonomskih aktivnosti u Europi kako bi se osvetila za sankcije Zapada kao i financijsku te vojnu pomoć - upozorio je Schneider. Čak i ako se neće raditi o potpunom prekidu opskrbe plinom, utjecaj na industrijski output i ekonomsku neizvjesnost sigurno će gurnuti Njemačku u recesiju u drugoj polovini 2022., procjenjuju u Deutsche banci.

U Kini se pak još ne može govoriti o recesiji, ali kineska ekonomija drastično usporava. U prvom dijelu godine kinesko gospodarstvo raslo je najsporijom stopom od početka pandemije. Posljedica je to stroge covid-19 politike; dugotrajnih lockdowna te masovnih karantena. Prema izvještaju kineskog Nacionalnog ureda za statistiku Kina je u drugom kvartalu rasla samo 0,4 posto, najniže od rasta realiziranog u prva tri mjeseca 2020., kad je počela pandemija. Tad je kineska ekonomija pala u obujmu ukupnih aktivnosti prvi put u 28 godina, ali se brzo oporavila. Za razliku, nove projekcije ne ukazuju na sigurno vraćanje već tradicionalnog robusnog kineskog rasta: nezaposlenost im je rekordna, nekretninsko tržište je u neredu, brojni prezaduženi developeri propadaju, mali biznisi počinju osjećati posljedice slabljenja potrošnje građana.

Pretpostavlja se da će KP Kine procijeniti da je usporavanje rasta politički problem te će vjerojatno odgovarati stimulansima. Ovo je godina kad se održava važan kongres Komunističke partije, na kojemu se očekuje potvrda još jednog petogodišnjeg mandata predsjednika XI Jinpinga.

- Kina nije u poziciji biti globalni motor rasta u ovom trenutku, dugoročni fundamenti ukazuju na puno sporiji rast u sljedećem desetljeću - poručio je harvardski profesor ekonomije i bivši glavni ekonomist MMF-a Kenneth Rogoff.

Još u svibnju kineski premijer Li Kequiang sazvao je hitan sastanak na kojemu je inicirao akcije oživljavanja gospodarstva. Tu zadaću dobilo je 100.000 kineskih službenika, ali i pored odličnosti kineskih vlasti ostaje skepsa prema ranijoj projekciji kineskog rasta od 5,5 posto.

I zapadne kompanije počele su osjećati usporavanje Kine. Primjerice, Nike je izvijestio o padu profita u zadnjem fiskalnom kvartalu i padu prodaje u Kini od 19 posto, piše Jutarnji list.

Usporavanje nije iznenađenje jer su neki od najvećih kineskih gradova (Šangaj, Peking) bili pod režimom lockdowna i karantena oko dva mjeseca. Uredi u poslovnim zgradama zjapili su prazni, radnici su ostali kod kuće, potrošači nisu mogli u dućane i restorane; veći dio sektora usluga je zamro. New York Times donosi priču trgovaca odjećom iz kojih proizlazi da su u svibnju prodali 10 puta manje robe nego uobičajeno. Redovni kupci nisu se vratili do danas. Procjenjuje se da je u Šangaju trajno zatvoreno oko 20 posto kafića, barova, restorana i zalogajnica.

Nakon više desetljeća rasta, građani Kine vide očigledno usporavanje. Maloprodaja je u razdoblju ožujak-lipanj pala u odnosu na isto razdoblje lani 4,6 posto. Problem pandemije u Kini još nije riješen. Japanski Nomura izvještava kako je početkom ovoga tjedna oko 274 milijuna ljudi u Kini bilo u nekoj vrsti lockdowna, što je petina kineske ukupne populacije. Broj gradova pod strogim mjerama utrostručio se u odnosu na tjedan ranije te ih je sad više od 30. Dio Kine pod lockdownom ekvivalent je udjelu od 4,3 tisuće milijardi dolara kineskog godišnjeg BDP-a. U Kini je posebno zabrinjavajuća nezaposlenost mladih u dobi 16 do 24 godine koja je dosegla 19,3 posto.

Gigantske ekonomije Njemačke i Kine usporavaju. Razlozi usporavanja različite su prirode, ali sam podatak o snižavanju razine aktivnosti govori o smjeru kojim je već krenula globalna ekonomija.

Prema projekcijama ekonomista Deutsche banke, najveća europska ekonomija u 2023. smanjit će se za 1 posto, a kontrakcija gospodarskih aktivnosti u Njemačkoj počet će već u drugoj polovini ove godine kao posljedica problema u opskrbi energentima, posebice plinom. Upozorenje je to iz izvještaja analitičara Deutsche banke, koje predvodi Stefan Schneider, pripremljenog za klijente. Posebno je osjetljivo pitanje za Njemačku hoće li Rusija ponovno pokrenuti opskrbu plinom kroz Sjeverni tok 1 nakon obavljenog remonta, donosi Jutarnji list.

- Čini se razumnim pretpostaviti kako će Rusija nastaviti s disrupcijom ekonomskih aktivnosti u Europi kako bi se osvetila za sankcije Zapada kao i financijsku te vojnu pomoć - upozorio je Schneider. Čak i ako se neće raditi o potpunom prekidu opskrbe plinom, utjecaj na industrijski output i ekonomsku neizvjesnost sigurno će gurnuti Njemačku u recesiju u drugoj polovini 2022., procjenjuju u Deutsche banci.

U Kini se pak još ne može govoriti o recesiji, ali kineska ekonomija drastično usporava. U prvom dijelu godine kinesko gospodarstvo raslo je najsporijom stopom od početka pandemije. Posljedica je to stroge covid-19 politike; dugotrajnih lockdowna te masovnih karantena. Prema izvještaju kineskog Nacionalnog ureda za statistiku Kina je u drugom kvartalu rasla samo 0,4 posto, najniže od rasta realiziranog u prva tri mjeseca 2020., kad je počela pandemija. Tad je kineska ekonomija pala u obujmu ukupnih aktivnosti prvi put u 28 godina, ali se brzo oporavila. Za razliku, nove projekcije ne ukazuju na sigurno vraćanje već tradicionalnog robusnog kineskog rasta: nezaposlenost im je rekordna, nekretninsko tržište je u neredu, brojni prezaduženi developeri propadaju, mali biznisi počinju osjećati posljedice slabljenja potrošnje građana.

Pretpostavlja se da će KP Kine procijeniti da je usporavanje rasta politički problem te će vjerojatno odgovarati stimulansima. Ovo je godina kad se održava važan kongres Komunističke partije, na kojemu se očekuje potvrda još jednog petogodišnjeg mandata predsjednika XI Jinpinga.

- Kina nije u poziciji biti globalni motor rasta u ovom trenutku, dugoročni fundamenti ukazuju na puno sporiji rast u sljedećem desetljeću - poručio je harvardski profesor ekonomije i bivši glavni ekonomist MMF-a Kenneth Rogoff.

Još u svibnju kineski premijer Li Kequiang sazvao je hitan sastanak na kojemu je inicirao akcije oživljavanja gospodarstva. Tu zadaću dobilo je 100.000 kineskih službenika, ali i pored odličnosti kineskih vlasti ostaje skepsa prema ranijoj projekciji kineskog rasta od 5,5 posto.

I zapadne kompanije počele su osjećati usporavanje Kine. Primjerice, Nike je izvijestio o padu profita u zadnjem fiskalnom kvartalu i padu prodaje u Kini od 19 posto, piše Jutarnji list.

Usporavanje nije iznenađenje jer su neki od najvećih kineskih gradova (Šangaj, Peking) bili pod režimom lockdowna i karantena oko dva mjeseca. Uredi u poslovnim zgradama zjapili su prazni, radnici su ostali kod kuće, potrošači nisu mogli u dućane i restorane; veći dio sektora usluga je zamro. New York Times donosi priču trgovaca odjećom iz kojih proizlazi da su u svibnju prodali 10 puta manje robe nego uobičajeno. Redovni kupci nisu se vratili do danas. Procjenjuje se da je u Šangaju trajno zatvoreno oko 20 posto kafića, barova, restorana i zalogajnica.

Nakon više desetljeća rasta, građani Kine vide očigledno usporavanje. Maloprodaja je u razdoblju ožujak-lipanj pala u odnosu na isto razdoblje lani 4,6 posto. Problem pandemije u Kini još nije riješen. Japanski Nomura izvještava kako je početkom ovoga tjedna oko 274 milijuna ljudi u Kini bilo u nekoj vrsti lockdowna, što je petina kineske ukupne populacije. Broj gradova pod strogim mjerama utrostručio se u odnosu na tjedan ranije te ih je sad više od 30. Dio Kine pod lockdownom ekvivalent je udjelu od 4,3 tisuće milijardi dolara kineskog godišnjeg BDP-a. U Kini je posebno zabrinjavajuća nezaposlenost mladih u dobi 16 do 24 godine koja je dosegla 19,3 posto.
