Nakon što je u Lazaretima organiziran znanstveno-stručni skup, a potom multilokacijska izložba odnosno tematska šetnja "Osam stoljeća dubrovačkoga kolendavanja" koju je vodila doktorica znanosti Jelena Obradović Mojaš, održano je svečano otvaranje Kneževe kapelice u Dvoru. Inače, povod skupa je upis kolendavanja u Dubrovniku u Registar kulturnih dobara Republike Hrvatske.

Okupljene je u atriju Dvora pozdravila ravnateljica Dubrovačkih muzeja Ivona Michl dok je pročelnica Upravnog odjela za kulturu i baštinu Grada Dubrovnika Julijana Antić Brautović pohvalila sinergiju ustanova, ali i dodala kako s pravom postoje razmišljanja da se ubuduće svake godine jedan dan posveti dubrovačkoj kolendi.

Kneževa kapelica podignuta je odlukom Malog vijeća krajem 1459., a posvećena je Rođenju Blažene Djevice Marije (Mala Gospa). Kako se knezu u to vrijeme zabranjivalo izlaziti iz Dvora privatnim povodima, bogoslužje se za njega i njegovu obitelj odvijalo u kapelici. Tako se u 15. stoljeću u njoj služila misa 99 puta na godinu, odnosno na sve značajne blagdane. Kapelice su se redovito nalazile unutar palača knezova i drugih upravitelja u mletačkoj Dalmaciji. U potresu koji je zadesio Dubrovnik 1667., stradala je i kapelica u kojoj je knez Šimun Getaldić (Ghetaldi) poginuo tijekom jutarnje mise. Nakon potresa, kapelica je podignuta 1690.-1691. u baroknom stilu prema projektu poznatog sicilijanskog arhitekta, dominikanca Tommasa Marije Napolija (Palermo, 1659. -1725.). Ovalnog je tlocrtnog oblika iznimnog za Dubrovnik. Klasicistički zidni oslici koji su prikazivali scene iz Marijinog života vidljivi su u fragmentima.

Kneževa kapelica će u budućnosti biti otvorena svim posjetiteljima Dvora.

Nakon što je u Lazaretima organiziran znanstveno-stručni skup, a potom multilokacijska izložba odnosno tematska šetnja "Osam stoljeća dubrovačkoga kolendavanja" koju je vodila doktorica znanosti Jelena Obradović Mojaš, održano je svečano otvaranje Kneževe kapelice u Dvoru. Inače, povod skupa je upis kolendavanja u Dubrovniku u Registar kulturnih dobara Republike Hrvatske.

Okupljene je u atriju Dvora pozdravila ravnateljica Dubrovačkih muzeja Ivona Michl dok je pročelnica Upravnog odjela za kulturu i baštinu Grada Dubrovnika Julijana Antić Brautović pohvalila sinergiju ustanova, ali i dodala kako s pravom postoje razmišljanja da se ubuduće svake godine jedan dan posveti dubrovačkoj kolendi.

Kneževa kapelica podignuta je odlukom Malog vijeća krajem 1459., a posvećena je Rođenju Blažene Djevice Marije (Mala Gospa). Kako se knezu u to vrijeme zabranjivalo izlaziti iz Dvora privatnim povodima, bogoslužje se za njega i njegovu obitelj odvijalo u kapelici. Tako se u 15. stoljeću u njoj služila misa 99 puta na godinu, odnosno na sve značajne blagdane. Kapelice su se redovito nalazile unutar palača knezova i drugih upravitelja u mletačkoj Dalmaciji. U potresu koji je zadesio Dubrovnik 1667., stradala je i kapelica u kojoj je knez Šimun Getaldić (Ghetaldi) poginuo tijekom jutarnje mise. Nakon potresa, kapelica je podignuta 1690.-1691. u baroknom stilu prema projektu poznatog sicilijanskog arhitekta, dominikanca Tommasa Marije Napolija (Palermo, 1659. -1725.). Ovalnog je tlocrtnog oblika iznimnog za Dubrovnik. Klasicistički zidni oslici koji su prikazivali scene iz Marijinog života vidljivi su u fragmentima.

Kneževa kapelica će u budućnosti biti otvorena svim posjetiteljima Dvora.

Otvorena Kneževa kapelica u Dvoru: u njoj je tijekom Velike trešnje 1667. poginuo tadašnji knez Dubrovačke Republike

Nakon što je u Lazaretima organiziran znanstveno-stručni skup, a potom multilokacijska izložba odnosno tematska šetnja "Osam stoljeća dubrovačkoga kolendavanja" koju je vodila doktorica znanosti Jelena Obradović Mojaš, održano je svečano otvaranje Kneževe kapelice u Dvoru. Inače, povod skupa je upis kolendavanja u Dubrovniku u Registar kulturnih dobara Republike Hrvatske.

Okupljene je u atriju Dvora pozdravila ravnateljica Dubrovačkih muzeja Ivona Michl dok je pročelnica Upravnog odjela za kulturu i baštinu Grada Dubrovnika Julijana Antić Brautović pohvalila sinergiju ustanova, ali i dodala kako s pravom postoje razmišljanja da se ubuduće svake godine jedan dan posveti dubrovačkoj kolendi.

Kneževa kapelica podignuta je odlukom Malog vijeća krajem 1459., a posvećena je Rođenju Blažene Djevice Marije (Mala Gospa). Kako se knezu u to vrijeme zabranjivalo izlaziti iz Dvora privatnim povodima, bogoslužje se za njega i njegovu obitelj odvijalo u kapelici. Tako se u 15. stoljeću u njoj služila misa 99 puta na godinu, odnosno na sve značajne blagdane. Kapelice su se redovito nalazile unutar palača knezova i drugih upravitelja u mletačkoj Dalmaciji. U potresu koji je zadesio Dubrovnik 1667., stradala je i kapelica u kojoj je knez Šimun Getaldić (Ghetaldi) poginuo tijekom jutarnje mise. Nakon potresa, kapelica je podignuta 1690.-1691. u baroknom stilu prema projektu poznatog sicilijanskog arhitekta, dominikanca Tommasa Marije Napolija (Palermo, 1659. -1725.). Ovalnog je tlocrtnog oblika iznimnog za Dubrovnik. Klasicistički zidni oslici koji su prikazivali scene iz Marijinog života vidljivi su u fragmentima.

Kneževa kapelica će u budućnosti biti otvorena svim posjetiteljima Dvora.
