Venecija planira iduće godine uvesti ulaznice od pet eura za jednodnevne izletnike kako bi pokušala upravljati dolascima turista, priopćilo je u utorak gradsko vijeće.

Ulaznica će se uvesti probno na 30 dana, a fokus će uglavnom biti na proljetnim praznicima i vikendima ljeti kad je broj turista na vrhuncu. Plaćali bi je svi posjetitelji stariji od 14 godina. 

Cilj je bio pronaći "novu ravnotežu između prava onih koji žive, studiraju ili rade u Veneciji i onih koji posjećuju grad", rekao je gradski savjetnik za turizam Simone Venturini. 

Plan, prvi put predstavljen 2019., prvo je odgođen zbog covida-19 koji je držao turiste podalje, a kasnije zbog tehničkih i proceduralnih razloga.

Posjetitelji su u međuvremenu pohrlili u Veneciju, a stranaca često ima više od oko 50.000 stanovnika u samom središtu grada.

Pretjerani turizam već je dugo problem za krhki grad u laguni. Stručnjaci UNESCO-a preporučili su u srpnju da se Venecija i njezina laguna dodaju na popis ugrožene svjetske baštine i tvrde da Italija ne čini dovoljno da zaštiti grad od utjecaja klimatskih promjena i masovnog turizma.

Venecija planira iduće godine uvesti ulaznice od pet eura za jednodnevne izletnike kako bi pokušala upravljati dolascima turista, priopćilo je u utorak gradsko vijeće.

Ulaznica će se uvesti probno na 30 dana, a fokus će uglavnom biti na proljetnim praznicima i vikendima ljeti kad je broj turista na vrhuncu. Plaćali bi je svi posjetitelji stariji od 14 godina. 

Cilj je bio pronaći "novu ravnotežu između prava onih koji žive, studiraju ili rade u Veneciji i onih koji posjećuju grad", rekao je gradski savjetnik za turizam Simone Venturini. 

Plan, prvi put predstavljen 2019., prvo je odgođen zbog covida-19 koji je držao turiste podalje, a kasnije zbog tehničkih i proceduralnih razloga.

Posjetitelji su u međuvremenu pohrlili u Veneciju, a stranaca često ima više od oko 50.000 stanovnika u samom središtu grada.

Pretjerani turizam već je dugo problem za krhki grad u laguni. Stručnjaci UNESCO-a preporučili su u srpnju da se Venecija i njezina laguna dodaju na popis ugrožene svjetske baštine i tvrde da Italija ne čini dovoljno da zaštiti grad od utjecaja klimatskih promjena i masovnog turizma.

Turiste u Veneciji dogodine očekuje ‘iznenađenje‘; Ovako će gradske vlasti pokušati doskočiti problemu masovnog turizma

Venecija planira iduće godine uvesti ulaznice od pet eura za jednodnevne izletnike kako bi pokušala upravljati dolascima turista, priopćilo je u utorak gradsko vijeće.

Ulaznica će se uvesti probno na 30 dana, a fokus će uglavnom biti na proljetnim praznicima i vikendima ljeti kad je broj turista na vrhuncu. Plaćali bi je svi posjetitelji stariji od 14 godina. 

Cilj je bio pronaći "novu ravnotežu između prava onih koji žive, studiraju ili rade u Veneciji i onih koji posjećuju grad", rekao je gradski savjetnik za turizam Simone Venturini. 

Plan, prvi put predstavljen 2019., prvo je odgođen zbog covida-19 koji je držao turiste podalje, a kasnije zbog tehničkih i proceduralnih razloga.

Posjetitelji su u međuvremenu pohrlili u Veneciju, a stranaca često ima više od oko 50.000 stanovnika u samom središtu grada.

Pretjerani turizam već je dugo problem za krhki grad u laguni. Stručnjaci UNESCO-a preporučili su u srpnju da se Venecija i njezina laguna dodaju na popis ugrožene svjetske baštine i tvrde da Italija ne čini dovoljno da zaštiti grad od utjecaja klimatskih promjena i masovnog turizma.
