Njemački tužitelji pretražili su e-poštu kancelara Olafa Scholza u sklopu istrage o korupciji hamburške banke, točnije zbog izbjegavanja plaćanja poreza u iznosu od 50 milijuna eura, objavio je The Telegraph.

Spomenuta akcija provedena je još u ožujku, ali javnost je za nju doznala tek u ponedjeljak. Navodno se istražuje jesu li hamburški političari vršili pritisak na gradsku financijsku upravu da odustane od višemilijunskog zahtjeva za plaćanje poreza protiv banke MM Warburg, prenosi Jutarnji list.

The Telegraph podsjeća kako je odluka o odustajanju od poreznog zahtjeva donesena 2016. godine, nakon što se banka MM Warburg uplela u skandal CumEx, shemu porezne prijevare u kojoj je nekoliko njemačkih financijskih institucija ukralo milijarde eura iz europskih riznica.

U to vrijeme gradonačelnik Hamburga bio je Olaf Scholz, aktualni njemački kancelar i čelnik socijaldemokrata (SPD). On se sa suvlasnikom spomenute banke susreo u više navrata i to neposredno prije nego što je odbačen zahtjev za plaćanjem poreza, no Scholz tvrdi kako se ne sjeća detalja njihova razgovora.

Prema informacijama koje su sad dospjele u javnost, istražitelji koji rade na slučaju pronašli su više od 200.000 eura u gotovini dok su pretraživali prostorije Johannesa Kahrsa, Scholzova kolege u hamburškom SPD-u.

Banka MM Warburg u to vrijeme dala je hamburškom SPD-u donacije u iznosu od 40.000 eura, a upravo je Kahrs omogućio sastanke između rukovoditelja banke i najbližih savjetnika Olafa Scholza.

- Cijela stvar smrdi. Prije ili kasnije, javnost će saznati jesu li velikodušne donacije banke MM Warburg hamburškom SPD-u i izbjegavanje poreza uistinu povezani - izjavio je Thorsten Frei, stariji član Kršćansko-demokratske unije desnoga centra.

Steffen Hebestreit, kancelarov glasnogovornik, rekao je kako nije znao da su tužitelji pretražili Scholzovu e-poštu.

- Ne znam ništa o tome. Nemamo što skrivati - kratko je komentirao za lokalne novine. Dodao je i kako Scholz nije znao ništa o ogromnim svotama gotovine koju je njegov kolega čuvao kod kuće.

Sljedećega tjedna Scholza čeka unakrsno ispitivanje od strane parlamentarne komisije u gradskoj vijećnici Hamburga, koja je osnovana kako bi detaljno ispitala ovu aferu, piše  Jutarnji list.

Njemački tužitelji pretražili su e-poštu kancelara Olafa Scholza u sklopu istrage o korupciji hamburške banke, točnije zbog izbjegavanja plaćanja poreza u iznosu od 50 milijuna eura, objavio je The Telegraph.

Spomenuta akcija provedena je još u ožujku, ali javnost je za nju doznala tek u ponedjeljak. Navodno se istražuje jesu li hamburški političari vršili pritisak na gradsku financijsku upravu da odustane od višemilijunskog zahtjeva za plaćanje poreza protiv banke MM Warburg, prenosi Jutarnji list.

The Telegraph podsjeća kako je odluka o odustajanju od poreznog zahtjeva donesena 2016. godine, nakon što se banka MM Warburg uplela u skandal CumEx, shemu porezne prijevare u kojoj je nekoliko njemačkih financijskih institucija ukralo milijarde eura iz europskih riznica.

U to vrijeme gradonačelnik Hamburga bio je Olaf Scholz, aktualni njemački kancelar i čelnik socijaldemokrata (SPD). On se sa suvlasnikom spomenute banke susreo u više navrata i to neposredno prije nego što je odbačen zahtjev za plaćanjem poreza, no Scholz tvrdi kako se ne sjeća detalja njihova razgovora.

Prema informacijama koje su sad dospjele u javnost, istražitelji koji rade na slučaju pronašli su više od 200.000 eura u gotovini dok su pretraživali prostorije Johannesa Kahrsa, Scholzova kolege u hamburškom SPD-u.

Banka MM Warburg u to vrijeme dala je hamburškom SPD-u donacije u iznosu od 40.000 eura, a upravo je Kahrs omogućio sastanke između rukovoditelja banke i najbližih savjetnika Olafa Scholza.

- Cijela stvar smrdi. Prije ili kasnije, javnost će saznati jesu li velikodušne donacije banke MM Warburg hamburškom SPD-u i izbjegavanje poreza uistinu povezani - izjavio je Thorsten Frei, stariji član Kršćansko-demokratske unije desnoga centra.

Steffen Hebestreit, kancelarov glasnogovornik, rekao je kako nije znao da su tužitelji pretražili Scholzovu e-poštu.

- Ne znam ništa o tome. Nemamo što skrivati - kratko je komentirao za lokalne novine. Dodao je i kako Scholz nije znao ništa o ogromnim svotama gotovine koju je njegov kolega čuvao kod kuće.

Sljedećega tjedna Scholza čeka unakrsno ispitivanje od strane parlamentarne komisije u gradskoj vijećnici Hamburga, koja je osnovana kako bi detaljno ispitala ovu aferu, piše  Jutarnji list.

Prva velika afera njemačkog kancelara: Istražitelji češljaju Scholzovu elektronsku poštu zbog milijunske porezne prijevare; ‘Cijela stvar jako smrdi!‘

Njemački tužitelji pretražili su e-poštu kancelara Olafa Scholza u sklopu istrage o korupciji hamburške banke, točnije zbog izbjegavanja plaćanja poreza u iznosu od 50 milijuna eura, objavio je The Telegraph.

Spomenuta akcija provedena je još u ožujku, ali javnost je za nju doznala tek u ponedjeljak. Navodno se istražuje jesu li hamburški političari vršili pritisak na gradsku financijsku upravu da odustane od višemilijunskog zahtjeva za plaćanje poreza protiv banke MM Warburg, prenosi Jutarnji list.

The Telegraph podsjeća kako je odluka o odustajanju od poreznog zahtjeva donesena 2016. godine, nakon što se banka MM Warburg uplela u skandal CumEx, shemu porezne prijevare u kojoj je nekoliko njemačkih financijskih institucija ukralo milijarde eura iz europskih riznica.

U to vrijeme gradonačelnik Hamburga bio je Olaf Scholz, aktualni njemački kancelar i čelnik socijaldemokrata (SPD). On se sa suvlasnikom spomenute banke susreo u više navrata i to neposredno prije nego što je odbačen zahtjev za plaćanjem poreza, no Scholz tvrdi kako se ne sjeća detalja njihova razgovora.

Prema informacijama koje su sad dospjele u javnost, istražitelji koji rade na slučaju pronašli su više od 200.000 eura u gotovini dok su pretraživali prostorije Johannesa Kahrsa, Scholzova kolege u hamburškom SPD-u.

Banka MM Warburg u to vrijeme dala je hamburškom SPD-u donacije u iznosu od 40.000 eura, a upravo je Kahrs omogućio sastanke između rukovoditelja banke i najbližih savjetnika Olafa Scholza.

- Cijela stvar smrdi. Prije ili kasnije, javnost će saznati jesu li velikodušne donacije banke MM Warburg hamburškom SPD-u i izbjegavanje poreza uistinu povezani - izjavio je Thorsten Frei, stariji član Kršćansko-demokratske unije desnoga centra.

Steffen Hebestreit, kancelarov glasnogovornik, rekao je kako nije znao da su tužitelji pretražili Scholzovu e-poštu.

- Ne znam ništa o tome. Nemamo što skrivati - kratko je komentirao za lokalne novine. Dodao je i kako Scholz nije znao ništa o ogromnim svotama gotovine koju je njegov kolega čuvao kod kuće.

Sljedećega tjedna Scholza čeka unakrsno ispitivanje od strane parlamentarne komisije u gradskoj vijećnici Hamburga, koja je osnovana kako bi detaljno ispitala ovu aferu, piše  Jutarnji list.
