Kada su Michael Barnett i njegova supruga Kristine prije 13 godina posvojili 6-godišnje siroče iz Ukrajine, vjerovali su da djevojčica boluje od rijetkog poremećaja rasta kostiju, piše Mirror.

Međutim, nije sve bilo kako se činilo i sada je taj slučaj tema dokumentarne serije "Neobičan slučaj Natalije Grace" televizijske postaje Investigation Discovery.

Barnettovi će u šestodijelnoj seriji koja će se emitirati od 29. do 31. svibnja iznijeti tezu da im je djevojčica lagala o svojoj starosti kako bi im naudila, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Michael Barnett tvrdi da zna kojim se trikovima Natalia Grace poslužila te da zapravo ima 22 godine. Ona, pak, te tvrdnje odbacuje.

Istovremeno, Michael Barnett i njegova sada bivša žena Kristine oslobođeni su optužbi za zanemarivanje s kojima su se suočili kada su se odselili u Kanadu i ostavili Grace živi sama.

Barnettovi tvrde da je Grace bila nasilna te da ih je pokušala ubiti nakon što se uselila u njihov dom. Bivši supružnici tvrde da je Grace imala 22 godine kada su je napustili, a ona da je bila tek dijete. Barnettovi su datum rođenja svoje posvojene kćerke 2012. uspjeli iz 2003. promijeniti u 1989. godinu, što znači da je 8-godišnjakinja najednom postala 22-godišnjakinja.

Barnett je u prvoj epizodi serije rekao da su on i njegova supruga tijekom prvih nekoliko mjeseci uočili par sumnjivih stvari vezano za Grace. Rekao je da je njegova supruga jednom prilikom prala Grace te uočila da ima "potpuno izrasle stidne dlake". Ona ga je potom pozvala u kupaonicu kako bi mu to pokazala. "Nisam znao što da mislim. Je li to moguće? Je li to uopće moguće? Tko je ta je***a osoba?", rekao je Barnett.

Unatoč tome, Barnettovi kažu da su htjeli da posvojenje ne propadne te da su kćeri podarili "ljubav i suosjećanje".

Barnett je potom rekao da je njegova tadašnja supruga jednom pronašla Graceino donje rublje te da im je kći tada rekla da je počela menstruirati te da je to od njih skrivala. "Sjećam se kako se tada držala. Ruke su joj bile ispred tijela i rekla je da je dobila menstruaciju i to prikrila", rekao je Barnett te dodao da je tada počeo sumnjati u njezinu dob.

Natalia Grace boluje od kongenitalne spondiloepifizne displazije, rijetke autosomne dominantne genske bolesti, odnosno oblika patuljastog rasta. Grace je prethodno odbacila tvrdnje da je zlostavljala Barnettove te da je u trenutku kada su je ovi posvojili bila odrasla osoba.

Grace su u međuvremenu posvojili Cynthia i Anton Mans te ona sada živi s njima i njihovo petero biološke djece.

Barnettovi će u šestodijelnoj seriji koja će se emitirati od 29. do 31. svibnja iznijeti tezu da im je djevojčica lagala o svojoj starosti kako bi im naudila, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Michael Barnett tvrdi da zna kojim se trikovima Natalia Grace poslužila te da zapravo ima 22 godine. Ona, pak, te tvrdnje odbacuje.

Istovremeno, Michael Barnett i njegova sada bivša žena Kristine oslobođeni su optužbi za zanemarivanje s kojima su se suočili kada su se odselili u Kanadu i ostavili Grace živi sama.

Barnettovi tvrde da je Grace bila nasilna te da ih je pokušala ubiti nakon što se uselila u njihov dom. Bivši supružnici tvrde da je Grace imala 22 godine kada su je napustili, a ona da je bila tek dijete. Barnettovi su datum rođenja svoje posvojene kćerke 2012. uspjeli iz 2003. promijeniti u 1989. godinu, što znači da je 8-godišnjakinja najednom postala 22-godišnjakinja.

Barnett je u prvoj epizodi serije rekao da su on i njegova supruga tijekom prvih nekoliko mjeseci uočili par sumnjivih stvari vezano za Grace. Rekao je da je njegova supruga jednom prilikom prala Grace te uočila da ima "potpuno izrasle stidne dlake". Ona ga je potom pozvala u kupaonicu kako bi mu to pokazala. "Nisam znao što da mislim. Je li to moguće? Je li to uopće moguće? Tko je ta je***a osoba?", rekao je Barnett.

Unatoč tome, Barnettovi kažu da su htjeli da posvojenje ne propadne te da su kćeri podarili "ljubav i suosjećanje".

Barnett je potom rekao da je njegova tadašnja supruga jednom pronašla Graceino donje rublje te da im je kći tada rekla da je počela menstruirati te da je to od njih skrivala. "Sjećam se kako se tada držala. Ruke su joj bile ispred tijela i rekla je da je dobila menstruaciju i to prikrila", rekao je Barnett te dodao da je tada počeo sumnjati u njezinu dob.

Natalia Grace boluje od kongenitalne spondiloepifizne displazije, rijetke autosomne dominantne genske bolesti, odnosno oblika patuljastog rasta. Grace je prethodno odbacila tvrdnje da je zlostavljala Barnettove te da je u trenutku kada su je ovi posvojili bila odrasla osoba.

Grace su u međuvremenu posvojili Cynthia i Anton Mans te ona sada živi s njima i njihovo petero biološke djece.
