Mađarska je još jednim potezom pokazala da predstavlja kamen spoticanja unutar Europske unije kada je riječ o sankcijama protiv Rusije. Ovaj put zatražila je skidanje trojice ruskih oligarha s popisa sankcioniranih ruskih građana, tvrdi portal Politico.

Europska unija ima rok do 15. rujna da obnovi sankcije protiv pojedinih građana koji su stavljeni na popis na početku ruske invazije na Ukrajinu. Unutar bloka produljenje sankcija smatra se tehničkom formalnošću, kao što je to bio slučaj s prijašnjim mjerama protiv Rusije.

No, Mađarska je odlučila unijeti trzavice među čelnike EU-a. Kako tvrde četvorica diplomata i dužnosnika EU-a koji su dali anonimnu izjavu za Politico, Budimpešta je zatražila uklanjanje s popisa trojice ruskih državljana. Prema riječima dvojice diplomata, riječ je o ruskim bogatašima Ališeru Usmanovu, Petru Avenu i Viktoru Rašnjikovu.

Taj potez razbjesnio je druge članice EU-a, koje još ne mogu oprostiti mađarskom premijeru Viktoru Orbanu jer je odbio podržati embargo na rusku naftu prije nekoliko mjeseci.

Usmanov se obogatio na rudarstvu i ulaganjima i bivši je dioničar nogometnog kluba Arsenal. Aven je poduzetnik i političar koji je vodio najveću rusku komercijalnu banku, dok je Rašnjikov izgradio poslovno carstvo na željezu i čeliku.

Glasnogovornik mađarske vlade Zoltan Kovač poručio je da će EU donijeti zajedničku odluku o sankcioniranih osobama.

- EU-ov popis sankcioniranih osoba se stalno preispituje i uvijek iznova postoji zabrinutost da uključivanje određenih osoba ili pravnih subjekata nije dovoljno opravdano, poručio je na Twitteru,

Mađarska je također zatražila od EU-a da proširi iznimku vezano za sankcije na humanitarnu pomoć. To je stvorilo strah među drugim zemljama EU-a da Budimpešta želi stvoriti rupe u sankcijama u trenutku kada Europska komisija pokušava pooštriti pravila.

Izaslanici EU-a trebali bi raspravljati o ratu u Ukrajini na svom sastanku u srijedu. Iako proširenje popisa sankcija nije službeno na dnevnom redu, mađarski zahtjevi će svakako biti istaknuti tijekom razgovora, a obzirom da su već izazvali burne reakcija, kažu diplomati.

Mađarska je još jednim potezom pokazala da predstavlja kamen spoticanja unutar Europske unije kada je riječ o sankcijama protiv Rusije. Ovaj put zatražila je skidanje trojice ruskih oligarha s popisa sankcioniranih ruskih građana, tvrdi portal Politico.

Europska unija ima rok do 15. rujna da obnovi sankcije protiv pojedinih građana koji su stavljeni na popis na početku ruske invazije na Ukrajinu. Unutar bloka produljenje sankcija smatra se tehničkom formalnošću, kao što je to bio slučaj s prijašnjim mjerama protiv Rusije.

No, Mađarska je odlučila unijeti trzavice među čelnike EU-a. Kako tvrde četvorica diplomata i dužnosnika EU-a koji su dali anonimnu izjavu za Politico, Budimpešta je zatražila uklanjanje s popisa trojice ruskih državljana. Prema riječima dvojice diplomata, riječ je o ruskim bogatašima Ališeru Usmanovu, Petru Avenu i Viktoru Rašnjikovu.

Taj potez razbjesnio je druge članice EU-a, koje još ne mogu oprostiti mađarskom premijeru Viktoru Orbanu jer je odbio podržati embargo na rusku naftu prije nekoliko mjeseci.

Mađarska je također zatražila od EU-a da proširi iznimku vezano za sankcije na humanitarnu pomoć. To je stvorilo strah među drugim zemljama EU-a da Budimpešta želi stvoriti rupe u sankcijama u trenutku kada Europska komisija pokušava pooštriti pravila.

Izaslanici EU-a trebali bi raspravljati o ratu u Ukrajini na svom sastanku u srijedu. Iako proširenje popisa sankcija nije službeno na dnevnom redu, mađarski zahtjevi će svakako biti istaknuti tijekom razgovora, a obzirom da su već izazvali burne reakcija, kažu diplomati.

Orban dolijeva ulje na vatru zbog ruskih milijardera: Njegov najnoviji prijedlog šokirao je Uniju

Mađarska je još jednim potezom pokazala da predstavlja kamen spoticanja unutar Europske unije kada je riječ o sankcijama protiv Rusije. Ovaj put zatražila je skidanje trojice ruskih oligarha s popisa sankcioniranih ruskih građana, tvrdi portal Politico.

Europska unija ima rok do 15. rujna da obnovi sankcije protiv pojedinih građana koji su stavljeni na popis na početku ruske invazije na Ukrajinu. Unutar bloka produljenje sankcija smatra se tehničkom formalnošću, kao što je to bio slučaj s prijašnjim mjerama protiv Rusije.

No, Mađarska je odlučila unijeti trzavice među čelnike EU-a. Kako tvrde četvorica diplomata i dužnosnika EU-a koji su dali anonimnu izjavu za Politico, Budimpešta je zatražila uklanjanje s popisa trojice ruskih državljana. Prema riječima dvojice diplomata, riječ je o ruskim bogatašima Ališeru Usmanovu, Petru Avenu i Viktoru Rašnjikovu.

Taj potez razbjesnio je druge članice EU-a, koje još ne mogu oprostiti mađarskom premijeru Viktoru Orbanu jer je odbio podržati embargo na rusku naftu prije nekoliko mjeseci.

Usmanov se obogatio na rudarstvu i ulaganjima i bivši je dioničar nogometnog kluba Arsenal. Aven je poduzetnik i političar koji je vodio najveću rusku komercijalnu banku, dok je Rašnjikov izgradio poslovno carstvo na željezu i čeliku.
