Kapetan Pavo Butijer, rukovodio je spašavanjem 34 indijska ribara s tri ribarice za nevremena na Indijskom oceanu, 3. prosinca 2019. S obzirom na to da je tanker bio u balastu, nadvođe mu je bilo visoko 21 metar, kao 7 – katnica, a posrtao je i valjao se pod snažnim udarima vjetra i valova. „Morali smo biti vrlo oprezni da tijekom akcije spašavanja oplatom broda ne zdrobimo ribarice kad dođu pod pilotske ljestve, po kojima su se 34 ribara sretno popela na našu palubu,“ rekao je Butijer. Uz njega na Towadi su još bila trojica hrvatskih pomoraca, upravitelj stroja Ivica Tomić, prvi časnik palube Ivan Vidović, obojica iz Splita, te prvi časnik stroja Dino Žampera s Dugog otoka.

Zapovjednik ophodne brodice Sveti Duje Vedran Crnić, upravitelj stroja Mate Batinović te mornari Ivan Šutalo i Ivan Delić, spasili su 36 migranata u Egejskom moru, 10. veljače ove godine, u sklopu Frontexove misije POSEIDON 2020. Nesretnici su plutali u gumenom čamcu, a među njima je bio veliki broj djece i žena. Zbog pothlađenosti neke od žena su bile u besvjesnom stanju. Kapetan Pavo Butijer, rukovodio je spašavanjem 34 indijska ribara s tri ribarice za nevremena na Indijskom oceanu, 3. prosinca 2019. S obzirom na to da je tanker bio u balastu, nadvođe mu je bilo visoko 21 metar, kao 7 – katnica, a posrtao je i valjao se pod snažnim udarima vjetra i valova. „Morali smo biti vrlo oprezni da tijekom akcije spašavanja oplatom broda ne zdrobimo ribarice kad dođu pod pilotske ljestve, po kojima su se 34 ribara sretno popela na našu palubu,“ rekao je Butijer. Uz njega na Towadi su još bila trojica hrvatskih pomoraca, upravitelj stroja Ivica Tomić, prvi časnik palube Ivan Vidović, obojica iz Splita, te prvi časnik stroja Dino Žampera s Dugog otoka.

Zapovjednik ophodne brodice Sveti Duje Vedran Crnić, upravitelj stroja Mate Batinović te mornari Ivan Šutalo i Ivan Delić, spasili su 36 migranata u Egejskom moru, 10. veljače ove godine, u sklopu Frontexove misije POSEIDON 2020. Nesretnici su plutali u gumenom čamcu, a među njima je bio veliki broj djece i žena. Zbog pothlađenosti neke od žena su bile u besvjesnom stanju. Nominirano pet dubrovačkih pomoraca

Za ovogodišnju nagradu za podvige na Moru, Plava vrpca Vjesnika, nominiran je dubrovački kapetan Pavo Butijer, zapovjednik japanskog tankera Towada, te četvorica policijskih službenika Postaje pomorske policije iz Dubrovnika članovi posade ophodne brodice Sveti Duje Vedran Crnić, Mate Batinović Ivan Šutalo i Ivan Delić.

Kapetan Pavo Butijer, rukovodio je spašavanjem 34 indijska ribara s tri ribarice za nevremena na Indijskom oceanu, 3. prosinca 2019. S obzirom na to da je tanker bio u balastu, nadvođe mu je bilo visoko 21 metar, kao 7 – katnica, a posrtao je i valjao se pod snažnim udarima vjetra i valova. „Morali smo biti vrlo oprezni da tijekom akcije spašavanja oplatom broda ne zdrobimo ribarice kad dođu pod pilotske ljestve, po kojima su se 34 ribara sretno popela na našu palubu,“ rekao je Butijer. Uz njega na Towadi su još bila trojica hrvatskih pomoraca, upravitelj stroja Ivica Tomić, prvi časnik palube Ivan Vidović, obojica iz Splita, te prvi časnik stroja Dino Žampera s Dugog otoka.

Zapovjednik ophodne brodice Sveti Duje Vedran Crnić, upravitelj stroja Mate Batinović te mornari Ivan Šutalo i Ivan Delić, spasili su 36 migranata u Egejskom moru, 10. veljače ove godine, u sklopu Frontexove misije POSEIDON 2020. Nesretnici su plutali u gumenom čamcu, a među njima je bio veliki broj djece i žena. Zbog pothlađenosti neke od žena su bile u besvjesnom stanju. Hrvatski policajci svih su zbrinuli na brodu te prevezli na sigurno gdje im je pružena medicinska
