Oko 28 posto Europljana ne može si priuštiti tjedan dana odmora izvan mjesta svog prebivališta, a taj se broj penje na čak 60 posto u skupini radnika ispod praga siromaštva u kojoj Hrvatska zauzima visoko treće mjesto iza Grčke i Rumunjske, pokazuje istraživanje objavljeno u ponedjeljak.
Broj Europljana koji si ne mogu priuštiti tjedan dana ljetovanja penje se na 60 posto za siromašne radnike, pokazuje istraživanje Europske konfederacije sindikata (CES).
Ti radnici, čiji su prihodi ispod praga siromaštva, to jest manji od 60 posto medijalne plaće, najlošije prolaze u Grčkoj, gdje ih 88,9 posto ne može otići na ljetovanje, ističe Europska konfederacija.
Dolaze zatim Rumunjska s 86,8 posto te Hrvatska s 84,7 posto. Slijede ih Cipar sa 79,2 posto te Slovačka sa 76,1 posto, navodi CES u priopćenju.
Nejednakosti između najsiromašnijih radnika i onih drugih kad je riječ o dopustu "porasle su u proteklom desetljeću u 16 zemalja članica", dodaje organizacija koja se oslanja na podatke Eurostata.
Najveće razlike u mogućnosti odlaska na odmor između radnika s prihodima nižim od medijalne plaće i ostalih radnika su u Hrvatskoj, Grčkoj, Bugarskoj, Češkoj, Francuskoj i Rumunjskoj.
Povećanje nejednakosti "pokazuje da korist gospodarskog rasta u Europi u proteklom desetljeću nije raspoređena ravnomjerno", komentirala je pomoćnica glavne tajnice CES Esther Lynch.
CES se zauzima za poboljšanje prijedloga europske direktive koji treba povećati najniže plaće u EU-u, a Europski parlament će o njemu raspravljati nakon ljetne stanke.
Sindikalna konfederacija se zalaže za uvođenje "praga dostojanstva" koji će jamčiti da zakonom definirane minimalne plaće ne mogu biti manje od 60 posto medijalne plaće, odnosno manje od 50 posto prosječne plaće u bilo kojoj zemlji članici.
Trenutačno je u 17 zemalja članica EU-a minimalna zakonom zajamčena plaća niža od 60 posto nacionalne medijalne plaće, ističe CES.
U prijedlogu europske direktive predviđaju se obvezujuća pravila za 21 zemlju EU-a s minimalnom plaćom kako bi se potaknuo njezin rast, ali se ne određuje jedinstven najniži europski prag.
Prijedlog ne obvezuje na uvođenje minimalne plaće u šest zemalja koje nemaju zakonom definiranu minimalnu plaću, nego to utvrđuju kroz kolektivno pregovaranje (Austrija, Cipar, Danska, Finska, Italija i Švedska).
CES zastupa 45 milijuna članova 89 nacionalnih sindikalnih organizacija u 39 europskih zemalja i deset europskih sindikalnih federacija.

Oko 28 posto Europljana ne može si priuštiti tjedan dana odmora izvan mjesta svog prebivališta, a taj se broj penje na čak 60 posto u skupini radnika ispod praga siromaštva u kojoj Hrvatska zauzima visoko treće mjesto iza Grčke i Rumunjske, pokazuje istraživanje objavljeno u ponedjeljak.
Broj Europljana koji si ne mogu priuštiti tjedan dana ljetovanja penje se na 60 posto za siromašne radnike, pokazuje istraživanje Europske konfederacije sindikata (CES).
Ti radnici, čiji su prihodi ispod praga siromaštva, to jest manji od 60 posto medijalne plaće, najlošije prolaze u Grčkoj, gdje ih 88,9 posto ne može otići na ljetovanje, ističe Europska konfederacija.
Dolaze zatim Rumunjska s 86,8 posto te Hrvatska s 84,7 posto. Slijede ih Cipar sa 79,2 posto te Slovačka sa 76,1 posto, navodi CES u priopćenju.
Nejednakosti između najsiromašnijih radnika i onih drugih kad je riječ o dopustu "porasle su u proteklom desetljeću u 16 zemalja članica", dodaje organizacija koja se oslanja na podatke Eurostata.
Najveće razlike u mogućnosti odlaska na odmor između radnika s prihodima nižim od medijalne plaće i ostalih radnika su u Hrvatskoj, Grčkoj, Bugarskoj, Češkoj, Francuskoj i Rumunjskoj.
Povećanje nejednakosti "pokazuje da korist gospodarskog rasta u Europi u proteklom desetljeću nije raspoređena ravnomjerno", komentirala je pomoćnica glavne tajnice CES Esther Lynch.
CES se zauzima za poboljšanje prijedloga europske direktive koji treba povećati najniže plaće u EU-u, a Europski parlament će o njemu raspravljati nakon ljetne stanke.
Sindikalna konfederacija se zalaže za uvođenje "praga dostojanstva" koji će jamčiti da zakonom definirane minimalne plaće ne mogu biti manje od 60 posto medijalne plaće, odnosno manje od 50 posto prosječne plaće u bilo kojoj zemlji članici.
Trenutačno je u 17 zemalja članica EU-a minimalna zakonom zajamčena plaća niža od 60 posto nacionalne medijalne plaće, ističe CES.
U prijedlogu europske direktive predviđaju se obvezujuća pravila za 21 zemlju EU-a s minimalnom plaćom kako bi se potaknuo njezin rast, ali se ne određuje jedinstven najniži europski prag.
Prijedlog ne obvezuje na uvođenje minimalne plaće u šest zemalja koje nemaju zakonom definiranu minimalnu plaću, nego to utvrđuju kroz kolektivno pregovaranje (Austrija, Cipar, Danska, Finska, Italija i Švedska).
CES zastupa 45 milijuna članova 89 nacionalnih sindikalnih organizacija u 39 europskih zemalja i deset europskih sindikalnih federacija.
