Hrvatski korisnici Instagrama i Facebooka ovih su dana od kompanije koja je vlasnik tih društvenih mreža bili bombardirani porukama u kojima im se nudi da sve ono što su od tih servisa dosad dobivali besplatno, sada mogu imati za samo 12,99 eura kada je riječ o mobilnim verzijama, odnosno 9,99 eura za desktop inačice, piše Jutarnji list.

Što se dobije za taj iznos? Facebook i Instagram bez oglasa. I to je to. Riječ je o pokušaju Mete (kompanije u čijem su okrilju Facebook i Instagram) da uskladi poslovanje s pravilima o privatnosti Europske unije. Ovaj digitalni harač će pokrivati sve vaše povezane Facebook i Instagram račune - ali samo do ožujka mjeseca. Tada će Meta početi naplaćivati 6 eura za svaki dodatni račun na desktopu, odnosno 8 eura na pametnim telefonima (razlika u cijeni između desktopa i telefona, objašnjava Meta, je u tome što Apple i Google uzimaju svoj dio kolača kada je riječ o naplati preko pametnih telefona).

U osnovi, dakle, ako ne želite da vam se na Fejsu i Instagramu išta promijeni - ništa se neće promijeniti. Jednostavno možete nastaviti koristiti te platforme s oglasima kao što ste to činili i dosad, osim što ćete sada jednostavno morati za to dati svoj izričiti pristanak prema zakonu Digital Markets Act. Ukoliko pak iz nekog razloga imate problem s time da multimilijarderska kompanija koristi sve ono što zna o vama (a zna puno više nego što vi mislite da zna) da vam šalje oglase upravo o onim naočalama koje ste neki dan guglali, onda tome možete stati na kraj za 13 eura mjesečno. Ovo će definitivno biti vrlo zanimljiv socijalni eksperiment koji će pokazati koliko je ljudi doista spremno svojim teško zarađenim novcem podržati žalopojke o tome kako su Fejs i Insta samo velike oglasne platforme (što, naravno, nije daleko od istine).

Kompanija Marka Zuckerberga je pokrenula ovu inicijativu nakon što je sudstvo Europske unije dosudilo da, prema pravilima o privatnosti, tvrtka ne može opravdati korištenje osobnih podataka korisnika kako bi ih targetirali s personaliziranim oglasima ako prethodno ne dobiju odobrenje od tih korisnika. To je, naravno, udarac na glavni način na koji Facebook i Instagram zarađuju novac - personalizaciju oglasnog sadržaja doveli su na razinu umjetnosti. Meta vjerojatno ne očekuje da će veliki broj korisnika prijeći na ovaj plaćeni sistem, jer zacijelo više koristi imaju od ljudi kojima mogu prikazivati sve žive oglase. Naime, ne treba zaboraviti stari aksiom interneta - ako je usluga koju koristite na internetu besplatna, onda vi niste njezin korisnik, nego proizvod.

"Vjerujemo u internet podržan oglasima, koji daje ljudima pristup personaliziranim proizvodima i uslugama, bez obzira na njihov ekonomski status", objavila je Meta u blogu kojim je najavljena nova inicijativa.

"Poštujemo duh i svrhu ovih regulativa Europske unije i odlučni smo u tome da ih poštujemo. Opcija uz plaćanje balansira zahtjeve europskih regulatora, dok istovremeno daje korisnicima izbor i omogućuje Meti da nastavi služiti svim ljudima".

Europska regulatorna tijela su početkom mjeseca istraživala koliko su značajne ove nove promjene i je li riječ o previsokom iznosu koji bi trebali platiti svi oni koji ne žele primati targetirane oglase. Korisnici stariji od 18 godina u 27 članica EU, plus Švicarska, Norveška, Island i Lihtenštajn, dakle, i dalje će imati opciju korištenja Facebooka i Instagrama s oglasima. Meta je objavila da traga za načinom kako "tinejdžerima pružiti korisno i odgovorno iskustvo korištenja platformi s oglasima", a uz povinovanje europskim pravilima o privatnosti,

Hrvatski korisnici Instagrama i Facebooka ovih su dana od kompanije koja je vlasnik tih društvenih mreža bili bombardirani porukama u kojima im se nudi da sve ono što su od tih servisa dosad dobivali besplatno, sada mogu imati za samo 12,99 eura kada je riječ o mobilnim verzijama, odnosno 9,99 eura za desktop inačice, piše Jutarnji list.

Što se dobije za taj iznos? Facebook i Instagram bez oglasa. I to je to. Riječ je o pokušaju Mete (kompanije u čijem su okrilju Facebook i Instagram) da uskladi poslovanje s pravilima o privatnosti Europske unije. Ovaj digitalni harač će pokrivati sve vaše povezane Facebook i Instagram račune - ali samo do ožujka mjeseca. Tada će Meta početi naplaćivati 6 eura za svaki dodatni račun na desktopu, odnosno 8 eura na pametnim telefonima (razlika u cijeni između desktopa i telefona, objašnjava Meta, je u tome što Apple i Google uzimaju svoj dio kolača kada je riječ o naplati preko pametnih telefona).

U osnovi, dakle, ako ne želite da vam se na Fejsu i Instagramu išta promijeni - ništa se neće promijeniti. Jednostavno možete nastaviti koristiti te platforme s oglasima kao što ste to činili i dosad, osim što ćete sada jednostavno morati za to dati svoj izričiti pristanak prema zakonu Digital Markets Act. Ukoliko pak iz nekog razloga imate problem s time da multimilijarderska kompanija koristi sve ono što zna o vama (a zna puno više nego što vi mislite da zna) da vam šalje oglase upravo o onim naočalama koje ste neki dan guglali, onda tome možete stati na kraj za 13 eura mjesečno. Ovo će definitivno biti vrlo zanimljiv socijalni eksperiment koji će pokazati koliko je ljudi doista spremno svojim teško zarađenim novcem podržati žalopojke o tome kako su Fejs i Insta samo velike oglasne platforme (što, naravno, nije daleko od istine).

Kompanija Marka Zuckerberga je pokrenula ovu inicijativu nakon što je sudstvo Europske unije dosudilo da, prema pravilima o privatnosti, tvrtka ne može opravdati korištenje osobnih podataka korisnika kako bi ih targetirali s personaliziranim oglasima ako prethodno ne dobiju odobrenje od tih korisnika. To je, naravno, udarac na glavni način na koji Facebook i Instagram zarađuju novac - personalizaciju oglasnog sadržaja doveli su na razinu umjetnosti. Meta vjerojatno ne očekuje da će veliki broj korisnika prijeći na ovaj plaćeni sistem, jer zacijelo više koristi imaju od ljudi kojima mogu prikazivati sve žive oglase. Naime, ne treba zaboraviti stari aksiom interneta - ako je usluga koju koristite na internetu besplatna, onda vi niste njezin korisnik, nego proizvod.

"Vjerujemo u internet podržan oglasima, koji daje ljudima pristup personaliziranim proizvodima i uslugama, bez obzira na njihov ekonomski status", objavila je Meta u blogu kojim je najavljena nova inicijativa.

"Poštujemo duh i svrhu ovih regulativa Europske unije i odlučni smo u tome da ih poštujemo. Opcija uz plaćanje balansira zahtjeve europskih regulatora, dok istovremeno daje korisnicima izbor i omogućuje Meti da nastavi služiti svim ljudima".

Europska regulatorna tijela su početkom mjeseca istraživala koliko su značajne ove nove promjene i je li riječ o previsokom iznosu koji bi trebali platiti svi oni koji ne žele primati targetirane oglase. Korisnici stariji od 18 godina u 27 članica EU, plus Švicarska, Norveška, Island i Lihtenštajn, dakle, i dalje će imati opciju korištenja Facebooka i Instagrama s oglasima. Meta je objavila da traga za načinom kako "tinejdžerima pružiti korisno i odgovorno iskustvo korištenja platformi s oglasima", a uz povinovanje europskim pravilima o privatnosti,

Hrvatski korisnici Instagrama i Facebooka ovih su dana od kompanije koja je vlasnik tih društvenih mreža bili bombardirani porukama u kojima im se nudi da sve ono što su od tih servisa dosad dobivali besplatno, sada mogu imati za samo 12,99 eura kada je riječ o mobilnim verzijama, odnosno 9,99 eura za desktop inačice, piše Jutarnji list.

Što se dobije za taj iznos? Facebook i Instagram bez oglasa. I to je to. Riječ je o pokušaju Mete (kompanije u čijem su okrilju Facebook i Instagram) da uskladi poslovanje s pravilima o privatnosti Europske unije. Ovaj digitalni harač će pokrivati sve vaše povezane Facebook i Instagram račune - ali samo do ožujka mjeseca. Tada će Meta početi naplaćivati 6 eura za svaki dodatni račun na desktopu, odnosno 8 eura na pametnim telefonima (razlika u cijeni između desktopa i telefona, objašnjava Meta, je u tome što Apple i Google uzimaju svoj dio kolača kada je riječ o naplati preko pametnih telefona).

U osnovi, dakle, ako ne želite da vam se na Fejsu i Instagramu išta promijeni - ništa se neće promijeniti. Jednostavno možete nastaviti koristiti te platforme s oglasima kao što ste to činili i dosad, osim što ćete sada jednostavno morati za to dati svoj izričiti pristanak prema zakonu Digital Markets Act. Ukoliko pak iz nekog razloga imate problem s time da multimilijarderska kompanija koristi sve ono što zna o vama (a zna puno više nego što vi mislite da zna) da vam šalje oglase upravo o onim naočalama koje ste neki dan guglali, onda tome možete stati na kraj za 13 eura mjesečno.
