Milijuni ljudi diljem svijeta dnevno se testiraju brzim kućnim testovima na Covid-19. Iako nisu uvijek pouzdani, ti su testovi praktični jer rezultat prikazuju za manje od 15 minuta. N1 otkriva kada se sve treba testirati i kako to ispravno učiniti.

PCR, s druge strane, infekciju može detektirati u njezinoj najranijoj fazi, ali se rezultati, pa i samo testiranje, čekaju po nekoliko dana.

Neki stručnjaci upravo kućne testove vide kao ključno sredstvo za izlazak iz pandemije, jer se oboljeli vrlo rano mogu povući u izolaciju i tako smanjiti broj kontakata.

Pomoću kućnih testova moguće je samostalno provjeriti je li virus prisutan u organizmu, pa prema tome ograničiti buduće i upozoriti dotadašnje kontakte. Osim toga, zahvaljujući takvim testovima brže ćete potvrditi infekciju te ranije početi s praćenjem simptoma.

- Samo u posljednja dva mjeseca koristio sam kućno testiranje za sve tri glavne indikacije, pojavu simptoma Covida, izloženost Covidu i prije okupljanja u zatvorenom prostoru s osjetljivim osobama - rekao je doktor Alok Patel, docent pedijatrije na Sveučilištu Stanford.

Doktor ​Todd Ellerin​, direktor odjela zaraznih bolesti u South Shore Health u Weymouthu, poručio je da se testirati treba ako se pojave bilo kakvi neobični simptomi.

Simptomi infekcije koronavirusom uključuju povišenu tjelesnu temperaturu, kašalj, želučane probleme, grlobolju, bolove u mišićima, umor, glavobolju, povraćanje i proljev, prenosi N1.

Neki od navedenih simptoma preklapaju se s prehladom i gripom pa je, u slučaju njihove pojave, jedini način da razaznate o čemu se radi - test. 

Testiranje zbog drugih

Čak i ako nemate simptome, testiranje je korisno nakon mogućeg ili poznatog izlaganja virusu, prije okupljanja u zatvorenom ili općenito većih okupljanja, prije putovanja ili kada se sastajete s osobama s visokim rizikom ili oslabljenim imunitetom, ističu liječnici, a prenosi N1.

Bilo bi se posebno važno testirati ako planirate druženje s prijateljima ili članovima obitelji koji su u visokom riziku od hospitalizacije u slučaju oboljenja. To uključuje, primjerice, onkološke pacijente, različite kronične bolesnike te starije i nemoćne.

Testiranje zbog izloženosti

Ako doznate da je netko s kim ste bili u kontaktu pozitivan na Covid, ili ta osoba razvije simptome koji potencijalno ukazuju na infekciju, također biste se trebali testirati.

- Ako ste asimptomatski, ali ste bili unutar dva metra od osobe sa simptomima sličnim Covidu ili pozitivnim testom ukupno 15 minuta ili više tijekom razdoblja od 24 sata, trebali biste se testirati - objasnio je doktor Jay Bhatt iz Obiteljskog kršćanskog zdravstvenog centra u blizini Chicaga.

Testirati se treba neovisno o statusu cijepljenja, posebno kad je riječ o omikronu.

​Kako se testirati 

Prije upotrebe kućnog testa treba provjeriti je li ga odobrilo nadležno regulatorno tijelo i točno slijediti upute proizvođača, od skladištenja, preko prikupljanja uzoraka, do isteka roka valjanosti, piše N1.

Prilikom uzimanja nazalnog brisa nije potrebno zadirati jako duboko u nos.

Brzi testovi su vrlo pouzdani ako su pozitivni, ali ako zabilježe negativan rezultat, moguće je da će biti neophodan još i PCR test najmanje 24 sata kasnije.

Dakle, ako ste pozitivni na testu, osobito ako imate simptome, sigurno je pretpostaviti da imate Covid-19 i da biste trebali biti u izolaciji. Nasuprot tome, negativni rezultati mogu biti manje precizni i treba ih tumačiti oprezno, navodi N1.

Ako imate simptome, ali je test negativan, moguće je da se radi o lažno negativnom rezultatu. Negativne testove također treba tumačiti s oprezom ako ste imali kontakt s covidom ili moguću izloženost, recimo tijekom putovanja.

PCR test daje preciznije rezultate, ali treba imati na umu da on može biti pozitivan i do tri mjeseca nakon zaraze i preboljela covida-19, piše N1.

Milijuni ljudi diljem svijeta dnevno se testiraju brzim kućnim testovima na Covid-19. Iako nisu uvijek pouzdani, ti su testovi praktični jer rezultat prikazuju za manje od 15 minuta. N1 otkriva kada se sve treba testirati i kako to ispravno učiniti.

PCR, s druge strane, infekciju može detektirati u njezinoj najranijoj fazi, ali se rezultati, pa i samo testiranje, čekaju po nekoliko dana.

Neki stručnjaci upravo kućne testove vide kao ključno sredstvo za izlazak iz pandemije, jer se oboljeli vrlo rano mogu povući u izolaciju i tako smanjiti broj kontakata.

Pomoću kućnih testova moguće je samostalno provjeriti je li virus prisutan u organizmu, pa prema tome ograničiti buduće i upozoriti dotadašnje kontakte. Osim toga, zahvaljujući takvim testovima brže ćete potvrditi infekciju te ranije početi s praćenjem simptoma.

- Samo u posljednja dva mjeseca koristio sam kućno testiranje za sve tri glavne indikacije, pojavu simptoma Covida, izloženost Covidu i prije okupljanja u zatvorenom prostoru s osjetljivim osobama - rekao je doktor Alok Patel, docent pedijatrije na Sveučilištu Stanford.

Doktor ​Todd Ellerin​, direktor odjela zaraznih bolesti u South Shore Health u Weymouthu, poručio je da se testirati treba ako se pojave bilo kakvi neobični simptomi.

Simptomi infekcije koronavirusom uključuju povišenu tjelesnu temperaturu, kašalj, želučane probleme, grlobolju, bolove u mišićima, umor, glavobolju, povraćanje i proljev, prenosi N1.

Neki od navedenih simptoma preklapaju se s prehladom i gripom pa je, u slučaju njihove pojave, jedini način da razaznate o čemu se radi - test. 

Testiranje zbog drugih

Čak i ako nemate simptome, testiranje je korisno nakon mogućeg ili poznatog izlaganja virusu, prije okupljanja u zatvorenom ili općenito većih okupljanja, prije putovanja ili kada se sastajete s osobama s visokim rizikom ili oslabljenim imunitetom, ističu liječnici, a prenosi N1.

Bilo bi se posebno važno testirati ako planirate druženje s prijateljima ili članovima obitelji koji su u visokom riziku od hospitalizacije u slučaju oboljenja. To uključuje, primjerice, onkološke pacijente, različite kronične bolesnike te starije i nemoćne.

Testiranje zbog izloženosti

Ako doznate da je netko s kim ste bili u kontaktu pozitivan na Covid, ili ta osoba razvije simptome koji potencijalno ukazuju na infekciju, također biste se trebali testirati.

- Ako ste asimptomatski, ali ste bili unutar dva metra od osobe sa simptomima sličnim Covidu ili pozitivnim testom ukupno 15 minuta ili više tijekom razdoblja od 24 sata, trebali biste se testirati - objasnio je doktor Jay Bhatt iz Obiteljskog kršćanskog zdravstvenog centra u blizini Chicaga.

Testirati se treba neovisno o statusu cijepljenja, posebno kad je riječ o omikronu.

​Kako se testirati 

Prije upotrebe kućnog testa treba provjeriti je li ga odobrilo nadležno regulatorno tijelo i točno slijediti upute proizvođača, od skladištenja, preko prikupljanja uzoraka, do isteka roka valjanosti, piše N1.

Prilikom uzimanja nazalnog brisa nije potrebno zadirati jako duboko u nos.

Brzi testovi su vrlo pouzdani ako su pozitivni, ali ako zabilježe negativan rezultat, moguće je da će biti neophodan još i PCR test najmanje 24 sata kasnije.

Dakle, ako ste pozitivni na testu, osobito ako imate simptome, sigurno je pretpostaviti da imate Covid-19 i da biste trebali biti u izolaciji. Nasuprot tome, negativni rezultati mogu biti manje precizni i treba ih tumačiti oprezno, navodi N1.

Ako imate simptome, ali je test negativan, moguće je da se radi o lažno negativnom rezultatu. Negativne testove također treba tumačiti s oprezom ako ste imali kontakt s covidom ili moguću izloženost, recimo tijekom putovanja.

PCR test daje preciznije rezultate, ali treba imati na umu da on može biti pozitivan i do tri mjeseca nakon zaraze i preboljela covida-19, piše N1.

Brzi kućni test na Covid uvijek treba imati pri ruci: evo u kojim se sve situacijama poželjno testirati i kako to pravilno učiniti

Milijuni ljudi diljem svijeta dnevno se testiraju brzim kućnim testovima na Covid-19. Iako nisu uvijek pouzdani, ti su testovi praktični jer rezultat prikazuju za manje od 15 minuta. N1 otkriva kada se sve treba testirati i kako to ispravno učiniti.

PCR, s druge strane, infekciju može detektirati u njezinoj najranijoj fazi, ali se rezultati, pa i samo testiranje, čekaju po nekoliko dana.

Neki stručnjaci upravo kućne testove vide kao ključno sredstvo za izlazak iz pandemije, jer se oboljeli vrlo rano mogu povući u izolaciju i tako smanjiti broj kontakata.

Pomoću kućnih testova moguće je samostalno provjeriti je li virus prisutan u organizmu, pa prema tome ograničiti buduće i upozoriti dotadašnje kontakte. Osim toga, zahvaljujući takvim testovima brže ćete potvrditi infekciju te ranije početi s praćenjem simptoma.

- Samo u posljednja dva mjeseca koristio sam kućno testiranje za sve tri glavne indikacije, pojavu simptoma Covida, izloženost Covidu i prije okupljanja u zatvorenom prostoru s osjetljivim osobama - rekao je doktor Alok Patel, docent pedijatrije na Sveučilištu Stanford.

Doktor ​Todd Ellerin​, direktor odjela zaraznih bolesti u South Shore Health u Weymouthu, poručio je da se testirati treba ako se pojave bilo kakvi neobični simptomi.

Simptomi infekcije koronavirusom uključuju povišenu tjelesnu temperaturu, kašalj, želučane probleme, grlobolju, bolove u mišićima, umor, glavobolju, povraćanje i proljev, prenosi N1.

Neki od navedenih simptoma preklapaju se s prehladom i gripom pa je, u slučaju njihove pojave, jedini način da razaznate o čemu se radi - test.
