Belgijske vlasti uvjerene su da je muškarac ubijen u Bruxellesu počinitelj napada u kojem su u ponedjeljak ubijena dva švedska državljanina, a ranjen je vozač, objavio je u utorak radio RTBF na svojoj web stranici.

Abdesalem Al Guilani (45), ustrijeljen je u kafiću u briselskoj četvrti Schaerbeek, a kasnije je podlegao ozljedama.

Istraga je potvrdila da je automatsko oružje pronađeno u blizini ustrijeljenog osumnjičenog napadača bilo korišteno u napadu u ponedjeljak, rekla je belgijska ministrica unutarnjih poslova Annelies Verlinden za VRT.

"Oružje kojim su napadi počinjeni pronađeno je jutros na mjestu gdje je muškarac uhićen u (okrugu Bruxellesa) Schaerbeeku. To povećava vjerojatnost da je osoba upravo počinitelj", rekla je Verlinden za VRT.

"Provjeravamo otiske prstiju kako bismo bili 100 posto sigurni."

Belgijska policija u utorak je otvorila vatru kada je pronašla 45-godišnjeg Tunižanina osumnjičenog da je ubio dva švedska državljana i ranio treću osobu u središtu Bruxellesa. Oni su u ponedjeljak navečer išli na utakmicu kvalifikacija za EURO između Belgije i Švedske koja je zbog napada na poluvremenu prekinuta.

Muškarac koji se sam nazvao pripadnikom Islamske države preuzeo je odgovornost u video snimci koju je stavio online, rekavši da je borac za Allaha.

Osumnjičeni je nakon pucnjave u ponedjeljak pobjegao što je pokrenulo masovnu potragu i primoralo Belgiju da na najvišu razinu podigne terorističku uzbunu u glavnom gradu.

Premijer Alexander De Croo nazvao je napad brutalnim "terorističkim napadom".

"Sinoć je troje ljudi otišlo na ono što je trebalo biti prekrasna nogometna zabava. Dvoje od njih izgubilo je živote u brutalnom terorističkom napadu", rekao je De Croo na konferenciji za novinare.

"Počinitelj je ciljao posebno na švedske navijače koji su bili u Bruxellesu kako bi prisustvovali nogometnoj utakmici Crvenih vragova. Dvojica švedskih sunarodnjaka su preminula. Treća osoba se oporavlja od teških ozljeda", rekao je de Croo.

Savezno državno odvjetništvo reklo je ranije kako nema dokaza da je počinitelj na bilo koji način povezan sa situacijom u Izraelu, na okupiranim palestinskim teritorijima i šire na Bliskom Istoku.

Pretpostavlja se da je napad odgovor na seriju paljenja Kurana, svete knjige islama, koju su Šveđani javno uništavali od 2020. do 2023. godine.

Napadač, koji je neuspješno tražio azil u Belgiji u studenom 2019. bio je poznat policiji kao krijumčar ljudi i kao osoba koja nezakonito boravi u zemlji, rekao je ministar pravosuđa Vincent Van Quickenborne na konferenciji za novinare ranije u utorak.

Belgijske vlasti uvjerene su da je muškarac ubijen u Bruxellesu počinitelj napada u kojem su u ponedjeljak ubijena dva švedska državljanina, a ranjen je vozač, objavio je u utorak radio RTBF na svojoj web stranici.

Abdesalem Al Guilani (45), ustrijeljen je u kafiću u briselskoj četvrti Schaerbeek, a kasnije je podlegao ozljedama.

Istraga je potvrdila da je automatsko oružje pronađeno u blizini ustrijeljenog osumnjičenog napadača bilo korišteno u napadu u ponedjeljak, rekla je belgijska ministrica unutarnjih poslova Annelies Verlinden za VRT.

"Oružje kojim su napadi počinjeni pronađeno je jutros na mjestu gdje je muškarac uhićen u (okrugu Bruxellesa) Schaerbeeku. To povećava vjerojatnost da je osoba upravo počinitelj", rekla je Verlinden za VRT.

"Provjeravamo otiske prstiju kako bismo bili 100 posto sigurni."

Belgijska policija u utorak je otvorila vatru kada je pronašla 45-godišnjeg Tunižanina osumnjičenog da je ubio dva švedska državljana i ranio treću osobu u središtu Bruxellesa. Oni su u ponedjeljak navečer išli na utakmicu kvalifikacija za EURO između Belgije i Švedske koja je zbog napada na poluvremenu prekinuta.

Muškarac koji se sam nazvao pripadnikom Islamske države preuzeo je odgovornost u video snimci koju je stavio online, rekavši da je borac za Allaha.

Osumnjičeni je nakon pucnjave u ponedjeljak pobjegao što je pokrenulo masovnu potragu i primoralo Belgiju da na najvišu razinu podigne terorističku uzbunu u glavnom gradu.

Premijer Alexander De Croo nazvao je napad brutalnim "terorističkim napadom".

"Sinoć je troje ljudi otišlo na ono što je trebalo biti prekrasna nogometna zabava. Dvoje od njih izgubilo je živote u brutalnom terorističkom napadu", rekao je De Croo na konferenciji za novinare.

"Počinitelj je ciljao posebno na švedske navijače koji su bili u Bruxellesu kako bi prisustvovali nogometnoj utakmici Crvenih vragova. Dvojica švedskih sunarodnjaka su preminula. Treća osoba se oporavlja od teških ozljeda", rekao je de Croo.

Savezno državno odvjetništvo reklo je ranije kako nema dokaza da je počinitelj na bilo koji način povezan sa situacijom u Izraelu, na okupiranim palestinskim teritorijima i šire na Bliskom Istoku.

Pretpostavlja se da je napad odgovor na seriju paljenja Kurana, svete knjige islama, koju su Šveđani javno uništavali od 2020. do 2023. godine.

Napadač, koji je neuspješno tražio azil u Belgiji u studenom 2019. bio je poznat policiji kao krijumčar ljudi i kao osoba koja nezakonito boravi u zemlji, rekao je ministar pravosuđa Vincent Van Quickenborne na konferenciji za novinare ranije u utorak.

Belgijske vlasti uvjerene su da je muškarac ubijen u Bruxellesu počinitelj napada u kojem su u ponedjeljak ubijena dva švedska državljanina, a ranjen je vozač, objavio je u utorak radio RTBF na svojoj web stranici.

Abdesalem Al Guilani (45), ustrijeljen je u kafiću u briselskoj četvrti Schaerbeek, a kasnije je podlegao ozljedama.

Istraga je potvrdila da je automatsko oružje pronađeno u blizini ustrijeljenog osumnjičenog napadača bilo korišteno u napadu u ponedjeljak, rekla je belgijska ministrica unutarnjih poslova Annelies Verlinden za VRT.

"Oružje kojim su napadi počinjeni pronađeno je jutros na mjestu gdje je muškarac uhićen u (okrugu Bruxellesa) Schaerbeeku. To povećava vjerojatnost da je osoba upravo počinitelj", rekla je Verlinden za VRT.

"Provjeravamo otiske prstiju kako bismo bili 100 posto sigurni."

Belgijska policija u utorak je otvorila vatru kada je pronašla 45-godišnjeg Tunižanina osumnjičenog da je ubio dva švedska državljana i ranio treću osobu u središtu Bruxellesa. Oni su u ponedjeljak navečer išli na utakmicu kvalifikacija za EURO između Belgije i Švedske koja je zbog napada na poluvremenu prekinuta.

Muškarac koji se sam nazvao pripadnikom Islamske države preuzeo je odgovornost u video snimci koju je stavio online, rekavši da je borac za Allaha.
