Američki predsjednik Joe Biden i izraelski premijer Benjamin Netanyahu obratili su se u Izraelu novinarima

- Hamas su novi nacisti - rekao je izraelski premijer, te dodao kako je Bidenov posjet prvi put da jedan američki čelnik putuje u Izrael u vrijeme rata i to smatra ‘duboko dirljivim‘.

Biden je rekao da će Amerika osigurati da Izrael ima sve što mu je potrebno da se obrani.

Biden je dodao da je Hamas počinio zločine zbog kojih ‘ISIS izgleda donekle racionalno‘.

- Moramo imati na umu da Hamas ne predstavlja palestinski narod. Duboko sam ožalošćen i ogorčen zbog jučerašnje eksplozije u bolnici u Gazi, dodaje Biden.

- Na temelju onoga što sam vidio, čini se da je to učinio drugi tim, a ne vi, obratio se Biden izraelskom premijeru i dodao da mnogi još u to nisu sigurni pa je potrebno prevladati mnoge stvari, donosi Jutarnji list

Istovremeno, predsjednica Europske komisije Ursula von der Leyen snažno je osudila granatiranje bolnici u Gaze i pozvala da se utvrde sve činjenice te rekla da odgovorni za to moraju odgovarati.

"Sinoćnja nova, besmislena tragedija sve nas je šokirala, scene iz bolnice Al Ahli su užasne i potresne. Nema opravdanja za napad na bolnicu punu civila", rekla je von der Leyen obraćajući se zastupnicima Europskog parlamenta u Strasbourgu.

Istaknula je da se sve činjenice oko toga događaja moraju utvrditi i da "odgovorni moraju odgovarati".

U napadu na bolnicu u Gazi u utorak navečer poginule su stotine Palestinaca, a Izrael i Hamas međusobno se opužuju za taj napad.

Palestinski dužnosnici rekli su da je Izrael u zračnom napadu pogodio bolnicu, a ministar zdravstva palestinskih vlasti optužio je Izrael za "masakr". Izrael je za eksploziju u bolnici Al-Ahli al-Arabi okrivio neuspješno lansiranje rakete palestinske skupine Islamski džihad, koja je odbacila odgovornost.

Von der Leyen je rekla da Izrael ima pravo na samoobranu u skladu s međunarodnim pravom. Tijekom posjeta Izraelu prošl tjedan, ona je u izjavama izostavljala da samoobrana mora biti u skladu s međunarodnim pravom, zbog čega je bila kritizirana da je pristrana u korist Izraela.

Ona optužuje Hamas da je odgovoran za terorističke napade i da njihove žrtve nisu samo Izraelci nego i Palestinci.

"Hamas je teroristička organizacija i Palestinci također trpe teror. Mi podržavamo Palestince i nema proturječja između solidarnosti s Izraelom i humanitarnog djelovanja prema Palestincima", rekla je.

"Ono što je Hamas učinio nema nikakve veze s legitimnim težnjama palestinskog naroda", istaknula je predsjednica Komisije.

Upozorila je na povećanje antisemitskih incidenta, uključujući i u Europi.

"U Europi nema mjesta za mržnju, nema tolerancije za mržnju bilo online ili na našim ulicama", rekla je.

Američki predsjednik Joe Biden i izraelski premijer Benjamin Netanyahu obratili su se u Izraelu novinarima

- Hamas su novi nacisti - rekao je izraelski premijer, te dodao kako je Bidenov posjet prvi put da jedan američki čelnik putuje u Izrael u vrijeme rata i to smatra ‘duboko dirljivim‘.

Biden je rekao da će Amerika osigurati da Izrael ima sve što mu je potrebno da se obrani.

Biden je dodao da je Hamas počinio zločine zbog kojih ‘ISIS izgleda donekle racionalno‘.

- Moramo imati na umu da Hamas ne predstavlja palestinski narod. Duboko sam ožalošćen i ogorčen zbog jučerašnje eksplozije u bolnici u Gazi, dodaje Biden.

- Na temelju onoga što sam vidio, čini se da je to učinio drugi tim, a ne vi, obratio se Biden izraelskom premijeru i dodao da mnogi još u to nisu sigurni pa je potrebno prevladati mnoge stvari, donosi Jutarnji list

Istovremeno, predsjednica Europske komisije Ursula von der Leyen snažno je osudila granatiranje bolnici u Gaze i pozvala da se utvrde sve činjenice te rekla da odgovorni za to moraju odgovarati.

"Sinoćnja nova, besmislena tragedija sve nas je šokirala, scene iz bolnice Al Ahli su užasne i potresne. Nema opravdanja za napad na bolnicu punu civila", rekla je von der Leyen obraćajući se zastupnicima Europskog parlamenta u Strasbourgu.

Istaknula je da se sve činjenice oko toga događaja moraju utvrditi i da "odgovorni moraju odgovarati".

U napadu na bolnicu u Gazi u utorak navečer poginule su stotine Palestinaca, a Izrael i Hamas međusobno se opužuju za taj napad.

Palestinski dužnosnici rekli su da je Izrael u zračnom napadu pogodio bolnicu, a ministar zdravstva palestinskih vlasti optužio je Izrael za "masakr". Izrael je za eksploziju u bolnici Al-Ahli al-Arabi okrivio neuspješno lansiranje rakete palestinske skupine Islamski džihad, koja je odbacila odgovornost.

Von der Leyen je rekla da Izrael ima pravo na samoobranu u skladu s međunarodnim pravom. Tijekom posjeta Izraelu prošl tjedan, ona je u izjavama izostavljala da samoobrana mora biti u skladu s međunarodnim pravom, zbog čega je bila kritizirana da je pristrana u korist Izraela.

Ona optužuje Hamas da je odgovoran za terorističke napade i da njihove žrtve nisu samo Izraelci nego i Palestinci.

"Hamas je teroristička organizacija i Palestinci također trpe teror. Mi podržavamo Palestince i nema proturječja između solidarnosti s Izraelom i humanitarnog djelovanja prema Palestincima", rekla je.

"Ono što je Hamas učinio nema nikakve veze s legitimnim težnjama palestinskog naroda", istaknula je predsjednica Komisije.

Upozorila je na povećanje antisemitskih incidenta, uključujući i u Europi.

"U Europi nema mjesta za mržnju, nema tolerancije za mržnju bilo online ili na našim ulicama", rekla je.

Američki predsjednik Joe Biden i izraelski premijer Benjamin Netanyahu obratili su se u Izraelu novinarima

- Hamas su novi nacisti - rekao je izraelski premijer, te dodao kako je Bidenov posjet prvi put da jedan američki čelnik putuje u Izrael u vrijeme rata i to smatra ‘duboko dirljivim‘.

Biden je rekao da će Amerika osigurati da Izrael ima sve što mu je potrebno da se obrani.

Biden je dodao da je Hamas počinio zločine zbog kojih ‘ISIS izgleda donekle racionalno‘.

- Moramo imati na umu da Hamas ne predstavlja palestinski narod. Duboko sam ožalošćen i ogorčen zbog jučerašnje eksplozije u bolnici u Gazi, dodaje Biden.

- Na temelju onoga što sam vidio, čini se da je to učinio drugi tim, a ne vi, obratio se Biden izraelskom premijeru i dodao da mnogi još u to nisu sigurni pa je potrebno prevladati mnoge stvari, donosi Jutarnji list

Istovremeno, predsjednica Europske komisije Ursula von der Leyen snažno je osudila granatiranje bolnici u Gaze i pozvala da se utvrde sve činjenice te rekla da odgovorni za to moraju odgovarati.

"Sinoćnja nova, besmislena tragedija sve nas je šokirala, scene iz bolnice Al Ahli su užasne i potresne. Nema opravdanja za napad na bolnicu punu civila", rekla je von der Leyen obraćajući se zastupnicima Europskog parlamenta u Strasbourgu.

Istaknula je da se sve činjenice oko toga događaja moraju utvrditi i da "odgovorni moraju odgovarati".
