Počela je meč 2. kola ITF-ovog turnira na Cipru, u Larnaci, s 1:5. Reket je u lijevoj ruci Ruskinje Oksane Selekhmeteve, i kad je tako, znala je, neće biti lako, a neće i iz razloga što je suparnica bila na pragu ulaska u TOP 100, što je sad slabije plasirana jer je duže vrijeme zbog ozljede bila izvan terena. Međutim, prošle godine je s tri pobjede prošla kvalifikacije Australian Opena, potom dobila drugi set protiv naše Donne Vekić u 1. kolu prvog Grand Slam turnira sezone, a poraz upisala tek u tie breaku trećeg, odlučujućeg seta.

Ali, što se tiče turnira na Cipru, Lucija Ćirić Bagarić je puna samopouzdanje. Kako i ne bi kad je osvojila ove godine već tri ITF-ove 35-ice, kad je u 2024. godini jedina igračica koja je na ITF-ovim turnirima bez poraza. I dalje je tako, i nakon ogleda protiv godinu dana starije Selekhmeteve.

20-godišnja Dubrovkinja je u prvom setu, nakon tih 1:5, izjednačila na 5:5, imala na svom servisu 30:0, ali nije uspjela doći do vodstva. Prvi set je pripao Ruskinji sa 7:5. Ipak, bila je bolja u drugom setu sa 6:3, zatim i u trećem odlučujućem setu sa 6:2, te se nakon dva sata i 42 minute igre može pohvaliti kako ima 20/0 ove sezone!

Ćirić Bagarić je u četvrtfinalu 35-ice na Cipru. Iduća suparnica je 26-godišnja Španjolka Irene Burillo Escorihuela, trenutno 264. sa svjetske rang liste. Bile su suparnice u Tunisu, u siječnju ove godine. Također u četvrtfinalu. Lucija je bila uvjerljiva.

I još jedan dodatak za pobjedu na startu turnira na Cipru. Španjolka Ane Mintegi Del Olmo, Lucijina vršnjakinja, bila je peta juniorka svijeta, koja je 2021. godine osvojila juniorski Wimbledon. Eto protiv koga je Dubrovkinja ostvarila prethodnu, devetnaestu pobjedu u devetnaestom meču ove godine!

Počela je meč 2. kola ITF-ovog turnira na Cipru, u Larnaci, s 1:5. Reket je u lijevoj ruci Ruskinje Oksane Selekhmeteve, i kad je tako, znala je, neće biti lako, a neće i iz razloga što je suparnica bila na pragu ulaska u TOP 100, što je sad slabije plasirana jer je duže vrijeme zbog ozljede bila izvan terena. Međutim, prošle godine je s tri pobjede prošla kvalifikacije Australian Opena, potom dobila drugi set protiv naše Donne Vekić u 1. kolu prvog Grand Slam turnira sezone, a poraz upisala tek u tie breaku trećeg, odlučujućeg seta.

Ali, što se tiče turnira na Cipru, Lucija Ćirić Bagarić je puna samopouzdanje. Kako i ne bi kad je osvojila ove godine već tri ITF-ove 35-ice, kad je u 2024. godini jedina igračica koja je na ITF-ovim turnirima bez poraza. I dalje je tako, i nakon ogleda protiv godinu dana starije Selekhmeteve.

20-godišnja Dubrovkinja je u prvom setu, nakon tih 1:5, izjednačila na 5:5, imala na svom servisu 30:0, ali nije uspjela doći do vodstva. Prvi set je pripao Ruskinji sa 7:5. Ipak, bila je bolja u drugom setu sa 6:3, zatim i u trećem odlučujućem setu sa 6:2, te se nakon dva sata i 42 minute igre može pohvaliti kako ima 20/0 ove sezone!

Ćirić Bagarić je u četvrtfinalu 35-ice na Cipru. Iduća suparnica je 26-godišnja Španjolka Irene Burillo Escorihuela, trenutno 264. sa svjetske rang liste. Bile su suparnice u Tunisu, u siječnju ove godine. Također u četvrtfinalu. Lucija je bila uvjerljiva.

I još jedan dodatak za pobjedu na startu turnira na Cipru. Španjolka Ane Mintegi Del Olmo, Lucijina vršnjakinja, bila je peta juniorka svijeta, koja je 2021. godine osvojila juniorski Wimbledon. Eto protiv koga je Dubrovkinja ostvarila prethodnu, devetnaestu pobjedu u devetnaestom meču ove godine!

Ruskinja je dobila prvi set, ali nije uspjela zaustaviti sjajan niz Lucije Ćirić Bagarić. Za nepovjerovati 20/0!

Počela je meč 2. kola ITF-ovog turnira na Cipru, u Larnaci, s 1:5. Reket je u lijevoj ruci Ruskinje Oksane Selekhmeteve, i kad je tako, znala je, neće biti lako, a neće i iz razloga što je suparnica bila na pragu ulaska u TOP 100, što je sad slabije plasirana jer je duže vrijeme zbog ozljede bila izvan terena. Međutim, prošle godine je s tri pobjede prošla kvalifikacije Australian Opena, potom dobila drugi set protiv naše Donne Vekić u 1. kolu prvog Grand Slam turnira sezone, a poraz upisala tek u tie breaku trećeg, odlučujućeg seta.

Ali, što se tiče turnira na Cipru, Lucija Ćirić Bagarić je puna samopouzdanje. Kako i ne bi kad je osvojila ove godine već tri ITF-ove 35-ice, kad je u 2024. godini jedina igračica koja je na ITF-ovim turnirima bez poraza. I dalje je tako, i nakon ogleda protiv godinu dana starije Selekhmeteve.

20-godišnja Dubrovkinja je u prvom setu, nakon tih 1:5, izjednačila na 5:5, imala na svom servisu 30:0, ali nije uspjela doći do vodstva. Prvi set je pripao Ruskinji sa 7:5. Ipak, bila je bolja u drugom setu sa 6:3, zatim i u trećem odlučujućem setu sa 6:2, te se nakon dva sata i 42 minute igre može pohvaliti kako ima 20/0 ove sezone!

Ćirić Bagarić je u četvrtfinalu 35-ice na Cipru. Iduća suparnica je 26-godišnja Španjolka Irene Burillo Escorihuela, trenutno 264. sa svjetske rang liste. Bile su suparnice u Tunisu, u siječnju ove godine. Također u četvrtfinalu. Lucija je bila uvjerljiva.

I još jedan dodatak za pobjedu na startu turnira na Cipru. Španjolka Ane Mintegi Del Olmo, Lucijina vršnjakinja, bila je peta juniorka svijeta, koja je 2021. godine osvojila juniorski Wimbledon. Eto protiv koga je Dubrovkinja ostvarila prethodnu, devetnaestu pobjedu u devetnaestom meču ove godine!
