Vuče Ratko Galjer, prvi čovjek Badmintonskog kluba Dubrovnik i Hrvatskog badmintonskog saveza, poteže i dalje, ali, kaže, odustao je od velikog turnira, točnije, bio je primoran na to jer s pomoći koju je dobio nije mogao pokriti ni trošak loptica, točnije, osnovnih stvari potrebnih za održavanje velikog/velikih turnira.

Lani je napravio baš čudo, na dva (vezana) turnira, juniorski, pa seniorski, okupio je 440 natjecatelja iz 48 država s pet kontinenata. Na juniorskom turniru bilo je 216 natjecatelja iz 35 država, imao je natjecateljice i natjecatelje iz čak trinaest azijskih država, a zna se tko je gazda u svijetu badminton. Igralo se u Gospinom polju osam dana od jutra do mraka, ‘milijun’ mečeva...

Pet kompleta medalja se dijelilo na svakom turniru. Pobjednici u ženskoj i muškoj konkurenciji, u ženskim i muškim, te mješovitim parovima su dobro znana imena iz svijeta badmintona. Vrh.

Seniorski Croatia Open bio je 2022. godine jedan od tri najjača turnira na europskom tlu. Dubrovnik se mogao pohvaliti kako je igralo stotinu igrača iz Azije, a Croatia Valamar Junior Open je pak bio najjači europski juniorski turnir. Prsti obje ruke nisu bili dovoljni za nabrojiti natjecatelje iz TOP 10 seniorske i juniorske rang liste u obje konkurencije.

Ali, od seniorskog Croatia Opena se iz spomenutog razloga odustalo, juniorski je iz istog razloga ‘stisnut’ u dva radna dana. Igra se ove godine u Gospinom polju 7. i 8. listopada. Bit će sedamdesetak natjecatelja iz Indije, Nizozemske, Njemačke, Srbije, Turske, Grčke, Engleske, Francuske, Italije, Mađarske, Slovačke, Indonezije, Slovenije, Švicarske i Hrvatske. 

Istina, lijepo je vidjeti ranking prvih nositelja dubrovačkog turnira - Indijka Raksha Kandasamy je osma juniorka svijeta, a u muškoj konkurenciji Adith Karthikeyan Priya iz Nizozemske je još bolji, trenutno je na petom mjestu svjetske rang liste najboljih igrača do 19 godina.

Priliku igrati na Croatia Valamar Junior Openu imat će dvojica uspješnih članova Badmintonskog kluba Dubrovnik, Patrik Karamatić i Marko Janičić.

Vuče Ratko Galjer, prvi čovjek Badmintonskog kluba Dubrovnik i Hrvatskog badmintonskog saveza, poteže i dalje, ali, kaže, odustao je od velikog turnira, točnije, bio je primoran na to jer s pomoći koju je dobio nije mogao pokriti ni trošak loptica, točnije, osnovnih stvari potrebnih za održavanje velikog/velikih turnira.

Lani je napravio baš čudo, na dva (vezana) turnira, juniorski, pa seniorski, okupio je 440 natjecatelja iz 48 država s pet kontinenata. Na juniorskom turniru bilo je 216 natjecatelja iz 35 država, imao je natjecateljice i natjecatelje iz čak trinaest azijskih država, a zna se tko je gazda u svijetu badminton. Igralo se u Gospinom polju osam dana od jutra do mraka, ‘milijun’ mečeva...

Pet kompleta medalja se dijelilo na svakom turniru. Pobjednici u ženskoj i muškoj konkurenciji, u ženskim i muškim, te mješovitim parovima su dobro znana imena iz svijeta badmintona. Vrh.

Seniorski Croatia Open bio je 2022. godine jedan od tri najjača turnira na europskom tlu. Dubrovnik se mogao pohvaliti kako je igralo stotinu igrača iz Azije, a Croatia Valamar Junior Open je pak bio najjači europski juniorski turnir. Prsti obje ruke nisu bili dovoljni za nabrojiti natjecatelje iz TOP 10 seniorske i juniorske rang liste u obje konkurencije.

Ali, od seniorskog Croatia Opena se iz spomenutog razloga odustalo, juniorski je iz istog razloga ‘stisnut’ u dva radna dana. Igra se ove godine u Gospinom polju 7. i 8. listopada. Bit će sedamdesetak natjecatelja iz Indije, Nizozemske, Njemačke, Srbije, Turske, Grčke, Engleske, Francuske, Italije, Mađarske, Slovačke, Indonezije, Slovenije, Švicarske i Hrvatske. 

Istina, lijepo je vidjeti ranking prvih nositelja dubrovačkog turnira - Indijka Raksha Kandasamy je osma juniorka svijeta, a u muškoj konkurenciji Adith Karthikeyan Priya iz Nizozemske je još bolji, trenutno je na petom mjestu svjetske rang liste najboljih igrača do 19 godina.

Priliku igrati na Croatia Valamar Junior Openu imat će dvojica uspješnih članova Badmintonskog kluba Dubrovnik, Patrik Karamatić i Marko Janičić.

Vuče Ratko Galjer, prvi čovjek Badmintonskog kluba Dubrovnik i Hrvatskog badmintonskog saveza, poteže i dalje, ali, kaže, odustao je od velikog turnira, točnije, bio je primoran na to jer s pomoći koju je dobio nije mogao pokriti ni trošak loptica, točnije, osnovnih stvari potrebnih za održavanje velikog/velikih turnira.

Lani je napravio baš čudo, na dva (vezana) turnira, juniorski, pa seniorski, okupio je 440 natjecatelja iz 48 država s pet kontinenata. Na juniorskom turniru bilo je 216 natjecatelja iz 35 država, imao je natjecateljice i natjecatelje iz čak trinaest azijskih država, a zna se tko je gazda u svijetu badminton. Igralo se u Gospinom polju osam dana od jutra do mraka, ‘milijun’ mečeva...
