Nakon gotovo sedam desetljeća grad Dubrovnik se vratio na boksačku kartu svijeta. Prije jedanaest mjeseci su udareni temelji kluba, te se krenulo raditi. Sve je počelo dolaskom Ukrajinca Sergeja Vakeryna, bivšeg boksača, majstora sporta u svojoj državi, koji je 2014. počeo prenositi svoje znanje izvan granica domovine. 

Dubrovnik mu nije prvi grad u Hrvatskoj u kojem je pokazivao što zna, okupljao mladost, te ih učio osnove boksa. Bio je prethodno u Zadru. U karijeri je bio trener u stožeru ukrajinske reprezentacije, zatim Crne Gore... 

Uglavnom, nakon 11 mjeseci od prvog treninga, Boksački klub Dubrovnik je imao debi. Nastupio je u Hrvatskoj amaterskoj ligi,  natjecanju koje je održano u Boksačkom centru na zagrebačkom Velesajmu. Boje Dubrovnika branila je jedna boksačica (Iva Cetinić) i tri boksača (Maroje Žuvela, David Žakula i Ante Klinac).

- Čestitke svima, treneru, te Ivi, Maroju, Davidu i Anti. Svaka im čast na srčanosti i prikazanom – istaknuo je Kristijan Perak, koji je bio također uz ring u Zagrebu. Dubrovnik je ostvario pobjedu i tri poraza. Sreći nije bilo kraja kad je sudac podigao ruku u zrak Davida Žakule. 

- Kako i ne bi kad je to prva pobjeda za naš klub. Povijesna pobjeda. I preostalo troje naših članova je zaslužilo pljesak. Svima njima je ovo bio debi, prva borba, prvo putovanje. Unatoč tome, odradili su sve tri runde do kraja. Izgubili su tek odlukom sudaca. Idemo dalje! Nastaviti raditi. Popraviti ono što nije bilo dobro.  Biti još bolji – naglasio je Perak.

Nakon gotovo sedam desetljeća grad Dubrovnik se vratio na boksačku kartu svijeta. Prije jedanaest mjeseci su udareni temelji kluba, te se krenulo raditi. Sve je počelo dolaskom Ukrajinca Sergeja Vakeryna, bivšeg boksača, majstora sporta u svojoj državi, koji je 2014. počeo prenositi svoje znanje izvan granica domovine. 

Dubrovnik mu nije prvi grad u Hrvatskoj u kojem je pokazivao što zna, okupljao mladost, te ih učio osnove boksa. Bio je prethodno u Zadru. U karijeri je bio trener u stožeru ukrajinske reprezentacije, zatim Crne Gore... 

Uglavnom, nakon 11 mjeseci od prvog treninga, Boksački klub Dubrovnik je imao debi. Nastupio je u Hrvatskoj amaterskoj ligi,  natjecanju koje je održano u Boksačkom centru na zagrebačkom Velesajmu. Boje Dubrovnika branila je jedna boksačica (Iva Cetinić) i tri boksača (Maroje Žuvela, David Žakula i Ante Klinac).

- Čestitke svima, treneru, te Ivi, Maroju, Davidu i Anti. Svaka im čast na srčanosti i prikazanom – istaknuo je Kristijan Perak, koji je bio također uz ring u Zagrebu. Dubrovnik je ostvario pobjedu i tri poraza. Sreći nije bilo kraja kad je sudac podigao ruku u zrak Davida Žakule. 

- Kako i ne bi kad je to prva pobjeda za naš klub. Povijesna pobjeda. I preostalo troje naših članova je zaslužilo pljesak. Svima njima je ovo bio debi, prva borba, prvo putovanje. Unatoč tome, odradili su sve tri runde do kraja. Izgubili su tek odlukom sudaca. Idemo dalje! Nastaviti raditi. Popraviti ono što nije bilo dobro.  Biti još bolji – naglasio je Perak.

Nakon gotovo sedam desetljeća grad Dubrovnik se vratio na boksačku kartu svijeta. Prije jedanaest mjeseci su udareni temelji kluba, te se krenulo raditi. Sve je počelo dolaskom Ukrajinca Sergeja Vakeryna, bivšeg boksača, majstora sporta u svojoj državi, koji je 2014. počeo prenositi svoje znanje izvan granica domovine. 

Dubrovnik mu nije prvi grad u Hrvatskoj u kojem je pokazivao što zna, okupljao mladost, te ih učio osnove boksa. Bio je prethodno u Zadru. U karijeri je bio trener u stožeru ukrajinske reprezentacije, zatim Crne Gore... 

Uglavnom, nakon 11 mjeseci od prvog treninga, Boksački klub Dubrovnik je imao debi. Nastupio je u Hrvatskoj amaterskoj ligi,  natjecanju koje je održano u Boksačkom centru na zagrebačkom Velesajmu. Boje Dubrovnika branila je jedna boksačica (Iva Cetinić) i tri boksača (Maroje Žuvela, David Žakula i Ante Klinac).

- Čestitke svima, treneru, te Ivi, Maroju, Davidu i Anti. Svaka im čast na srčanosti i prikazanom – istaknuo je Kristijan Perak, koji je bio također uz ring u Zagrebu. Dubrovnik je ostvario pobjedu i tri poraza. Sreći nije bilo kraja kad je sudac podigao ruku u zrak Davida Žakule. 

- Kako i ne bi kad je to prva pobjeda za naš klub. Povijesna pobjeda. I preostalo troje naših članova je zaslužilo pljesak. Svima njima je ovo bio debi, prva borba, prvo putovanje. Unatoč tome, odradili su sve tri runde do kraja. Izgubili su tek odlukom sudaca. Idemo dalje! Nastaviti raditi. Popraviti ono što nije bilo dobro.  Biti još bolji – naglasio je Perak.
